- Brenga (7/5): A week well spend, enjoy the hospitality from the friendly staffs. Max was so good and attentive. - The location has a quite and friendly space. Well secured and has beautiful green gardens. The cleaners didn't even come to clean our rooms until the day we checked out. Recommend to clean three times a week would be better for the clients.

Die Anlage ist klein und überschaubar, die Mitarbeiter sind nett. Preis -, Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.. Im.Restaurant braucht man viel Geduld - auf seine Bestellungen wartet man sehr lange.

- Kathryn (8/5): STAY HERE AND ENJOY THE FOOD THE STAFF THE SECURITY AND A COMFEY BED AT A MOST GENEROUS PRICE! - #Travelling alone, I quickly realised on both occasions I was completely safe staying in the African Gorilla guest house with its alert security people close by 24/7# Excellent modern comfortable king size bed. Large room (no2). Having a Sofa. Table and chairs by the front window. Private bathroom. Mosquito net. Kind, genuine, friendly, helpful staff. A decent chef and a well stocked bar. No urban African hotel is, in my experience quiet at night. African Gorilla Guest House is no exception: It is not very quiet at night either and noisy at times- just like the rest of them! So pay 2-300 US $/night if you wish to stayin a 4* hotel but don't expect it change the noise of Urban Africa! And it will NOT buy you better security or nicer staff than Gorilla Africa! Now you will get plenty of water out of the shower, but it might not stay/be hot. Again I will say I stayed in 4* hotels in the same week and despite all its posh staff could neither keep the lights on nor the water hot ...so guests in Gorilla Africa are better served than those staying in some 4* hotels!

- Kathryn (9/5): - It's basic , but clean, the rooms are large with plenty of space for a good quality king-size bed, table and chairs for 2 thay would fit 4, comfortable large sofa. Staff are capable, confident, conscientious, genuine and friendly staff. Good affordable food. Clean kitchen. Large bathroom with very basic Shower that need replacing but it's roomy, there's hot water and it does the job. It's great value for money. Neighbourhood noise people/dogs/cockrels Saturday night, much less so friday. I am a single female in my 60's, travelling alone & felt very safe and welcome. Can be noisy but doesn't bother me, because I drift/doze through it.

- Geoff Keys (9/5): A pleasant and comfortable place to stay. - I had a big room with a double bed. A good bathroom, although there was no hot water at the sink. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast is good. Plenty of tea and coffee. A good menu in the restaurant for lunch or dinner. There was secure parking for my motorbike. It has pleaseant gardens to sit in. The staff were attentive. There was no hot water at the bathroom sink. The booking.com entry suggested the room has a kettle. It does not, although the staff will supply how water in a flask upon request. The bulbs in the bathroom and bedroom need to be brighter.

- Engy (3/5): Never again to stay in this facility! - I did not like at all my stay in this facility. Yet, to be fair, I will list the advantages: Caroline, the staff that worked in the restaurant, was cheerful, nice and very helpful, she assisted me a lot answered all my queries regarding nearby places to visit, and even helped with booking my UBER ride to the airport. Also, the cook in the restaurant was a nice staff. I liked that there is hot water in the bathroom, 2 paper toilets, and 2 pieces of soap. The Breakfast was OK. I was scammed, cuz I paid $20 for one night, and photos of the room I booked on Booking.Com, did not resemble by all means the room I stayed in. Once, I arrived to the facility, I was told that I have to check out @10:00 AM, while on Booking it mentions that Check Out is extended till 12:00, furthermore, before I travelled I texted the facility requesting to have free of charge late check out, they responded that they will be happy to assist me on my request, while once I arrived, I was told that even I can't stay after 10:00 AM otherwise I will be charged extra money! When I mentioned that this information was not on Booking, I was told that not everything is mentioned on Booking! The room was very unclean, there were piles of ants on my Bathroom doorstep. Upon complaining, the Receptionist removed these piles and sprayed anti-insect on this spot, yet the ants re-grouped again in an hour. There were ants on my room walls, and I found it difficult to find a clean spot to just sit and rest in the room, The Sofa in the room was very dusty and unclean. The TV did not work, referring this to the Receptionist, he said there's something wrong with its wire. The Sofa outside the room was very dusty and unclean too, while I put a chair from the room outside to be able to sit a bit, and unlike it's mentioned on the facility site on Booking, you can't enjoy even the garden view as grass is very long that blocked the view. The WIFI is very weak inside the room, I had to go outside to just use WhatsApp, and noticed that the internet connection is bad inside the whole facility. I asked to be transferred to another room but I was denied my request. I will never visit again this facility, no value for money.

- Star (4/5): Totally disapointing. Expensive for what it is. - Big room. Nice-ish decor. Table and chair inside room incase we wanted to eat inside. Birds singing. Quiet. Expensive for what it is. Ive stayed in perfectly nice clean and safe guesthouses in kampala for 20k. This is over 120k and didnt offer much extra except a bigger room and the sound of birds. When i arrived my instincts argued against me staying. It had bad energy. And staff were not friendly or happy - made me feel like they were trapped. Perhaps theyre not treated well there. Only the chef was nice - he helped me in the morning with an early breakfast - but i still wouldnt say happy as a typical ugandan. There was really no hospitality. Not even a kettle to boil water in the rooms. Drinks averaged 10k in the bar so obviously they were hoping to profit from that but thats totally wrong at a hotel of this price - coffee and tea in the room should be there. Just there was 0 atmosphere and actually id paid a hotel rather than apartment just so we'd find some life but i regret. With that money we could have got a very nice full apartment. Totally disappointing. Id never come back again.
- Wendy (7/5): Nice guesthouse but staff needs improvement - The room was nicely decorated and amply furnished. The bed was comfortable and the little restaurant is a pleasant place to sit. The staff was inattentive and you didn't see the same staff person again in many instances. In short, you didn't know if someone was an employee or a friend of an employee dropping by. The hot water situation needs improvement.

- Fredah (5/5): A bit less than what was expected, could be better, the place has so much potential. - The restaurant waiter was jolly and friendly. My room smelled damp and musty, so my throat was irritated all night, there was no power the next morning, so I had to use very cold water on a very cold morning. Also, the reception never has anyone there to help.

- Rachelle (9/5): Village Vibes - Good location, quiet, peaceful. Close to mall, beach and airport. Great food. The dining area was very bright at night, which attracted more bugs. Low light and soft music would be nice, but this is a personal preference.
