- MoeRinny (7/5): Scenic - It is a cozy hotel with spacious rooms and good facilities. I liked visiting the museum and learning about the people and culture in the region. Great that they served traditional local food They can improve on customer service and how the food is prepared. Steak I ordered was brought medium rare while I wanted it well done. Butternut soup was not enjoyable.
- Gilles (10/5): Perfect one-night stop over on the way to Kampala - Great all-in-one hotel with restaurants, a swimming pool, a great buffet breakfast, super welcoming staff, easy access to the museum next door
- Memory (9/5): Superb -
- Christopher (8/5): Very good -
- Sigita (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dativa (9/5): Nice place to stay in western Uganda - Friendly staff and serene environment Nothing in particular

- Timothy (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel is situated in a good location, quite, peaceful and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very good. I recommend for you
- Aaron (1/5): Terrible property - I enjoyed checking out Rude front desk staff, broken shower door, cold food. Was told 20 minutes for room service, toom over 1.5 hours. How was it then cold?!
- Yu (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (8/5): Nice base camp hotel to explore area - The hotel was used as our base to explore area and booking was on recommendation of friends who stay regularly for business. Overall an enjoyable experience and will be returning to hotel in future. The museum is dated by western standards but if you are happy to read information boards etc is informative and as you are guided around much of the cultural heritage is explained.
The walk up the hill is great fun and if your trip provides time has potential for some wonderful sunset images over countryside. Staff friendly and guide very knowledgeable.
Food is strongly African as primary menu so nice to get away from the international baseline but does have the burger's and chips etc. should you need. The pot of African tea drank in garden was delightful.
Spa treatments very professional and did as couple which made a relaxing experience. Evening entertainment was interesting but maybe a little loud as stopped conversation over meal. The swimming pool water was full of visible dirt etc such that I did not use as rather unpleasant. This was a shame as the weather was ideal for a swim. The pool needs daily cleaning and the pump plus filter system operated.
I was without children but the play area is rusted and dangerous by western standards.
- Eric (8/5): Good Food, friendly service - Good service, Great breakfast The sliding aluminium mosquito nets were broken
- Daniella (5/5): Passable - Clean. Bad lighting in the rooms and bathroom, no CNN or BBC on the TV
- ronald (10/5): - This is a nice property. The food was wonderful and the staff accommodating.
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Asiimwe (8/5): Very good - The hike i did the morning with guide Godwin was awesome. The rooms( cabanas ) we booked were given to other guests even though that is what we had paid for. The room change wasnt agreed upon, and turned a potential good stay into a negative one
- Ntoreine (9/5): I had a fabulous and comfortable stay. - Staff are really friendly, breakfast is awesome(a great variety) compared to other places around, facilities well equipped with everything on the premises. Inconsiderate next door guest who thought we shouldn't speak freely in our room.
- Nedra (9/5): Superb - great value; lovely staff. super pool and sauna, steam room. comfortable and quiet room lighting in the room could be better
- Eria (9/5): Superb -
- Wanzira (9/5): Superb -
- Mulira (7/5): Good -
- Bannet (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (9/5): I would highly recommend this place - The Staff! Can't fault the place
- Meghan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rakefet (9/5): A nice western hotel - We booked 4 rooms and received a separated building with the 4 rooms facing each other. It was lovely. A totally western hotel with nice gardens. No sign for being in Uganda... It differed than the local lodges we used until that day. There were 3 weddings on the day we stayed there. For lunch the food was served as a buffe, together with some of the wedding people, and was very good. At the evening though, the same food was served again, and it was much less tasty.
- Vineet (9/5): An Oasis in the middle of Ugandan scruffiness - It is a beautiful place with modern facilities. The rooms were clean and comfortable . The spa and pool were worth visiting and the staff were brilliant The Wi-Fi and Internet was very patchy. This seems to be a Universal issue in Uganda they need more investment in broadband infrastructure outside Kampala
- Steven (8/5): - Nice location and good cottages . Only problem was the Wfi .
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I enjoyed my stay at this property and will visit it again.
- Brett (10/5): Exceeded expectations - This was a beautiful hotel, with very comfortable rooms. Unfortunately, we only stayed a very short time and did not get to enjoy the attached cultural center or second restaurant. The staff was very friendly, the check-in was easy (we were greeted with a fresh, hot towel and fruit juice), the rooms were large and comfortable, and the food was excellent. I was not expecting much based on the pictures avaialble, but I was very pleasantly surprised by the actual comfort and beauty of the hotel.
- Noah (2/5): DO NOT Book this property - DO NOT book this property with hotels.com. We are missing our safari because the hotel will not acknowledge our pre-payment and is making us wait to have a manager drive to the hotel to sort this out.
- Emmanuel (2/5): Worst expensive hotel ever - Very bad, I spent the whole night fighting with mosquitoes. I did not sleep.
The hotel house keeping is very poor. Mosquitoes are every where. They should work on this or else they don’t even deserve to be rated higher than one star.
