Malcolm (4/5): Decent location, Big Room, Cockroach infested, uncomfortable bed, unpleasant staff - The room was big...liked having a kitchen and the mirror in the room really made the room seem even bigger. Check in, the gentleman tried to charge me an additional cleaning fee. He wasnt very pleasant. On another night, the lobby was closed (I hadnt realized) and some big guy came out and barked at me that it was closed...a simple "we open at xyz" would have been fine but guy was super aggressive. And did I mention the 2 cockroaches that joined me in the room. To which upon check out, the lady didnt seem phased at all and almost expected to see them. GROSS.

The band that was supposed to be there canceled. We came there specifically to dance by the pool. Didn't get to do that. The ceiling fan in the room above the bed was growing fur. The bathroom window inside was dirty. Sometimes the bathroom smelled like a sewer.

The location of the hotel is a major plus, we also had the beach right out the back of our balcony. Probably a 3-4 minute walk and we were right at the beach, that was definitely the best part of our stay. They did have some construction going on but didn't really bother us and you needed resort bracelets to go to beach as well. It was a good stay overall.

jim (8/5): - I like this place. I’ve been coming here for 35 years. you need quality control after the rooms are cleaned up. You need someone to go around inspect them. I mean, they know when the lightbulbs out when they’re missing pillows toasters I can remember when it was a lot better than this. But still, I like the place I come down every year sometimes twice I know you’re trying, but after a year you should have a handle on it. It’s the same thing every year I’m not complaining you asked me a question. I’m giving you the answer.

The rooms were very spacious but the bed was hard as a rock. I would not use this resort again.

Lowell (4/5): - Checked In not only was the pool under construction but they’re renovating the hotel. And I was told that we were moving rooms in the middle of our stay. Prior to moving rooms and check out; I informed front Desk that I would be checking out the following day verse staying. Two different front desk(night before check out and morning of checking out) personnel stated I would be checked out and refunded for the night I didn’t stay. I then called to inform Expedia they stated they had to call hotel to confirm that I checked out early in order to process refund; they were having issues with reaching hotel. so I provided check out receipt with clerks information and hotels’ accurate phone number. After 3days I got notification saying I wouldn’t get a refund. I will be contacting my legal team on this matter.
Kathryn (10/5): Great Place to Stay - The resort is under renovation, but that did not interfere with our stay one bit. Our unit was clean and the view was wonderful. I would highly recommend this resort. The beach was uncrowded in comparison with the resorts around it and thus was the cleanest beach we saw on our beach walks. Everyone was extremely nice and accommodating.

Verified traveler (10/5): Fantastic spring break stay! - It was an amazing stay! The 3 bedroom 2 bath beach condo was spacious and well cared. My family had a very comfortable stay for the 3 nights there. The social activities were fun. Beach access was very convenient. The boat rental we used was only 5 mins away from the resort. We will come back again!
David (2/5): Do not stay here! - Photos do not accurately represent the property. Checked in to find 1st room dirty and unmade. Returned to front desk, sent me to 2nd room which was worse than the first. Returned to front desk. She radioed another employee to check if a room was clean before she sent me again. He said it was. My wife and I entered the room to find stains on the pillow cases. Including blood. Room smelled. We checked out. To the front desk staff person 's credit she refunded our full 4 nights stay.

Vicki Christine (10/5): - HBR is an older timeshare complex, and is as clean and safe as anyone could want. The private beach is amazing and the pool was great. They have a strict security policy that requires all guests and owners to wear rubber wrist bands, and in today’s world I really appreciated that. The location is perfect, close to great restaurants and shopping. I will definitely stay again, and actually wouldn’t even consider looking anywhere else.

The toilet and tub area was so tiny that entry door brushed toilet when opened/closed. However, there was a large separate bathroom sink area. Tiny kitchen area as a part of the living room with very limited counter space. No dishwasher, even though lots of open space to accommodate a larger kitchen. Two large closets with full length mirror fronts. Back screened porch opened directly into concrete multi-level parking garage. No discernible washer/dryer facilities available in the complex. Pool towels were available.

Most hotel rooms that I’ve stayed in are bigger than the condo The room smelled like urine & was musty. I would definitely not recommend this or stay there again.

Evie (8/5): Great location - Herbert is the hidden gem of this condo. He’s amazing! The staff were all very helpful and the location amazing! The beds were pretty awful as far as comfort goes. Couldn’t even use the couch bed because the springs were so bad, had to buy an air mattress. Smelled musty and the AC vents leaked.

Katrina (10/5): - The room was very clean and homey with a Florida room. We loved that you could exit the Florida room to immediate access to the pool and to the white sandy private beach. The location of the property allowed you access to anything you could want within walking distance.
Pamela (1/5): Bad - The only thing I like about this place was the location I was so disappointed when I first got there the room had an old damp smell to it. Plus, there was little black flying bug in the bathroom, and blind in the bathroom was so filthy ,but that wasn't the worst part of it. we also had mice in our room. I called the owner but have not gotten a response from her yet. Also, the curtains to the patio had stains on them that looked like blood stains, The sofa and the chair was dirty needed to be clean I would never ever go back to this place or refer this place to anyone. I was I'm phase 1 in room 113
