J'avais réservé un logement dans l'immeuble principal et il y a eu confusion chez le locateur ou avec booking, car pour moi c'était bien inscrit comme ça. Nous avons eu un logement plus loin, qui correspondait au nombre de chambre que nous avions besoin, mais ce n'était pas l'emplacement prévu dans ma réservation. Toutefois nous étions tranquille mais le balcon n'était pas attenant au logement.

• Linda (8/5): not a log cabin - the photos on your Web site shows a log cabin by the sea which was what we were expecting in stead we were given an apartment next to the main building. which was nice and clean but a bit disappointing. we found out all the cabins were occupied which was not stated on the website. the fact we had accomadation but not what we booked we could have looked elsewhere

The view is amazing and we found it hard to tear ourselves away to visit Digby and Annapolis Royal. Our host greeted us and showed us around the cottage and was able to give us lots of information about the location and surrounding area. The land the lodge and cottages are on was lovely to walk around and there was even a beach area to explore.

Comfortable living room, bed a bit soft for our preference. Host responsive and friendly. Walking trails and beach access a wonderful bonus, especially with loons present. We would definitely stay here again next time we are traveling to NS.

• Pierre (10/5): Wonderful week-end in Deep Brook, NS - We spent the week-end in cabin #2 and it was wonderful. Fairly large new cabin, well equipped, very clean with comfy beds. Even though there had been in a mix up in the booking the owners were very helpful and were able to straighten everything out to our satisfaction. There was a great view of the Annapolis basin and the town of Digby from the back porch. The nights were very quiet and peaceful and the wi-fi reception was excellent. The grounds are very well maintained and it is possible to walk down to the beach. Deep Brook is ideally located right off Highway 103,. only 20 minutes from Annapolis Royal to the East and 20 minutes from Digby to the West, where we ended up going one night for dinner. Highly recommended! Nothing (some people might miss not having a TV in the cabin but we didn't).

Even on departure we were given tips on our next stop and the route there. The little house id well equipped, modern, comfortable beds, ample space, secluded, great porch and unprecedented view on the bay! Nothing. One of the best locations I have ever stayed

It is also very close to town but remote enough that you’re not a stalled the noise. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Everything is well stocked FORREST stay there, but would’ve preferred some napkins and paper towels for dining at home. Nothing major everything was really good.

The kitchen was great for cooking meals and we enjoyed eating outside on the deck. Very peaceful setting with a big property that was fun to walk around. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The lodge was a bit of drive to amenities (restaurants etc) but was a great location for exploring the area.

Our Suite (Lindon) had no direct sea view, but that was not really an issue. Only minus maybe would be that there was no AC.

This place was a happy haven where we laughed danced and enjoyed a nice family vacation. It lifted our spirits. We plan to go every September now. Highly recommend.

• Vicky (9/5): Loved this place - we were in the lodge itself, a beautiful old wooden house from about 1917. - Kitchen is adequate, could have some more equipment in (better knives, more pans, full set of crockery) but quite liked its unreconstructed feel. Same for bathroom, does the job and v clean but bigger bath and a better shower would be great. Wish we had booked more than two nights!

• Peter (10/5): Great place to stay midway between Digby and Annapolis Royal - We stayed 2 nights in a Sea View bungalow in mid-June. The bungalow is modern and very comfortable. It is large with 2 bedrooms - one with a large bed and the other with 2 single beds. The beds were very comfortable. The main area of the bungalow has a good sitting area, table and chairs and a modern fully-equipped kitchen. The bathroom was also very good and spacious. We had a large private deck with an extensive view overlooking the water. We highly recommend this property as a relaxing comfortable base for exploring the area.
• Robert (10/5): - We rented the Eagle cottage with another couple. It was the best cottage we have ever rented. We were shocked when we opened the door. The deck was amazing. You could see the incredible tides coming in and out. The cottage was clean, updated, comfortable, and spacious. Gavin was an amazing host who gave us suggestions and we texted frequently. This property is amazing and we will return and I highly recommend it.
