- Estela (10/5): - Excellent, cozy, and spacious room. King size bed was terrific, plus perfectly working TV, microwave and fridge. The front desk man was friendly, helpful and kind. The only small problem we encountered was understanding how to set the shower temperature, but once we got that figured out, it was smooth and comfortable sailing. Would 100% recommend and will definitely be back!

- Asher (4/5): - It provided all of the necessities that were required The walls were dirty and damaged. The deadbolt didn't lock. There was unidentified stains on the ceiling. The beds were uncomfortable and the pillows were so thin that they might as well have not been there at all.

- Robin (1/5): I would like an refund because my husband face is breaking out from the bed sheets and comforter and my second room shou - Nothing at all Sheets was damp, comforters smell like mildew , mildew smell all through the room. The other room had nine burn holes in the comforter. I also I reserved one king bed with hot tub and one double queen bed no hot tub and we received two king beds, the attendant told us that that’s all that was available and they couldn’t do anything. I had to contact the third-party which is booking.

I guess that my room was available was a plus Outside was extremely unkept. Service did not speak English so it was tough to communicate. I didn’t receive a receipt. The room smelled awful. Like someone had just cooked Curry in it. There was a dead cockroach in the middle of the bathroom. The sheets were dirty. All in all? Worst stay I’ve ever had. We checked out early so that was a plus.

Bucket under the sink to catch dirty drips from the seain pipe.) There is ready hot water. Not one hook or bar to hang your towel. In the room no hangers or hooks, paint chips and bare patches on the walls. There is a microwave & fridge. The owner will be offended if you express reluctance about staying.

- John (10/5): - Had made reservation on 1/6/25 during the snow fall, we to check in and the property hadn’t been plowed making it impossible to get on the property, contacted front desk and they say that we are open, that’s my problem and hung up on me, for 2 1/2 hours they refused to refund me. If I had any warnings, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST.

- Taira (4/5): Clean. - The room looked nothing like the pictures. The tub pictured in the ad is not the tub you get in the room. I paid for a king room and got a queen. Also, the room had holes in the wall and the porcelain was all stained. The chain on the door was hanging off, as if the room had been broken into and no one bothered to screw it back in. The outside doesn't look all cleaned up like the pictures, either. It was clean and it had no bugs. For a cheap, safe place to stay, it wasn't bad, but it was certainly dishonest. Don't catfish people with pictures of a tub with jets and a king sized bed. Show people what they're walking into.

Few minutes drive to the beach - Motel is like a mom and pop type of place which they do there best to keep it up and provide reasonable pricing even though it’s a bit outdated. Beds are comfortable and room and bathroom was clean. No bugs. Good for a 1 or 2 night stay. Convinetely located near shopping areas.

- Darrin (2/5): - If I had paid $25 for this room I wouldn't complain...it looks exactly like what you would expect from a $25 room within 1/2 hour of the Atlantic City Boardwalk. But at over $100, no way. This place is what you get when the owner doesn't care about anything...there were holes in the walls, mold growing on the floor in the bathroom, the bathroom outlet didn't work, paint literally slopped on the bathroom counter and never cleaned up from when the room was last painted. This is the only place I've ever stayed where I was skeeved out by touching the remote control...it was literally sticky...I put it in a plastic bag so we could use it without touching it. No bedbugs that we could see, but when we turned down the covers on the bed some kind of bug skittered away. No wonder either since you can literally see daylight around and under the door even when it's closed and locked. This place is tiny and HORRIBLE...Stay ANYPLACE else...Anyplace...I think I would have been happier on a boardwalk bench.

- MaryLouise (2/5): - We were booked for a number of beds and when we got there they changed our reservation and stuck us in whatever they wanted to give us the only reason we wanted to go to this hotels because there was no other hotel with a pool available and this had a Jacuzzi tub when I went to give my son a bath so he could enjoy the tub it didn’t even turn on whatsoever mold in the ceiling or electricity went off in the middle of the night around 11 o’clock at night I guess a power fuse blew or some thing and it took them a few hours for us to even get power back on in the room he got pretty hot in there

- Christopher (8/5): - I was pleased with my Stay at the Sunset Motel. For a motel it had the usual cracks, dents, and bad paint, but the room was cozy. The Air conditioner was cold and lovely. The water was hot and the pressure was great in the shower. Out of 5 stars I would give this room 3. Would definitely stay again. Great location off the black horse Pike. Quiet but still near everything.

- Sarah (6/5): Bare Bones - You get what you pay for I guess but even this was subpar for what we paid. The property is unkempt and does not give a good impression upon arrival. The room and bed were clean but it smelled strongly of smoke despite being labeled “non smoking”. Bath amenities (towels, soap, etc) were bare bones and the TV was stuck on Spanish on all channels. The man at the front desk was very nice but I don’t think he spoke English so if there was a problem I’m not sure he would have been able to help. Sunset is passable for a one night stay but it did not add any type of comfort to our beach weekend. Cheap compared to other places, but still expensive for the experience you get. Probably worth the extra $40 or $50 for a nicer chain hotel closer to the beach.

The only thing was wrong was one of the rooms had bugs in the beg which we were bit by and we ask nicely to clean the room and they did, they do need to updated the sheets of the rooms they had smoke stains but other than that was ok for a motel stay.
