Nos sorprendió lo lindo que es y los espacios comunes que tienen. Realmente nos hubiera gustado quedarnos mas tiempo. No sé si la ubicación es muy buena para hacer turismo, pues está bastante alejado de todo. A nosotros nos sirvió para el fin que teníamos.
- Fabienne (8/5): SEJOUR DANS UN QUARTIER RESIDENTIEL - L'hôtel est situé dans un très agréable quartier résidentiel, entouré de belles maisons et de jardins. Piscine (mais l'eau était un peu fraîche à mon goût), vue sur le Cerro Ancon (on peut voir des toucans ou des perroquets rejoindre leurs dortoirs le soir), un agouti se balade au fond du jardin. Chambre classique, assez grande, parking devant l'hôtel, très pratique. Le petit déjeuner est un peu moyen, sans fruits ni jus, basique... L'endroit est un peu bruyant à cause de la proximité de l'aéroport, mais il n'y a pas de bruit pendant la nuit.

- Rasa Pukartiene (8/5): OK, would stay again - Clean, quiet room, comfy beds, good shower with hot water. Nice pool area, though the tiling is not finished throughout. Breakfast was a bit of a misunderstanding. First, it wasn't there at the indicated time. We had to wake the lady up, who then rushed to make us something so we can make our flight, and probably because of that the bacon was coal-burned but still served.

En una de esas me pidió que controlará a mi perrito que los huéspedes se quejaba. No me gusto su comentario, dado que ella provocaba al perrito al pasar a cada rato por donde el (y era para hacer nada) Y los perritos no se controlan como un robot.

Not alot of restaurant options nearby. NIKOS was good and open all day.

Das Hotel ist in einem ruhigen Stadtteil gelegen und der Cerro Ancon mit einem kleinen Fußmarsch erreichbar. Besonders positiv ist uns die total engagierte und super hilfsbereite Rezeptionistin Marian in Erinnerung. Sie hat uns nicht nur einmal weiter geholfen. In der Nähe befindet sich ein empfehlenswerter Supermarkt mit täglich frischem Mittagstisch.

The air conditioner in my room is super dirty and didn't get cold even when I set it to 19. Maybe some maintenance would solve this issue.

- Haseena (1/5): Balboa inn needs to become better - i paid on my arrival and the facilities they mentioned were not there no kettle no iron no toileteries no room cleaning big mosquitoes and lizards. all those things that were mentioned while booking nothing was there. they charged way more as compared to their facilities. at least they should provide basic toileteries, clean towels, cleanliness of room , provision of thing they mentioned during booking.

- Nidia (5/5): Me decepcionó pensé que sería diferente - Me gustó el área es tranquila y estás rodeado de naturaleza. No me gustó que los otros huéspedes dejan la puerta de sus habitaciones abiertas como si eso fuera un push y tampoco me agradó el escándalo musical que uno de estos mantenía con la puerta abierta de su cuarto. No que va. El señor que nos recibió atento, pero al día siguiente no se sintió la hospitalidad por parte de la chica que recibió las llaves, pues nos dijo "dejen las llaves allí" en el lobby así a lo loco. Ni factura te dan ni recibo ni nada. No regreso más. Un baño donde a duras penas cabe una persona.

Hot hot showers, As a Solo traveler without a rental it's in a residential neighborhood so you have to walk a couple blocks if you want a taxi. Other thing is I wish they sold water bottles, because it's about 300 m walk to get water at a very overpriced store.

Solo en una ocasión tuvimos un inconveniente: al llegar, la persona encargada no respondió llamadas, mensajes ni el timbre, ya que estaba en una fiesta en su habitación. Fue un hecho aislado y no se repitió en las demás visitas.

Estuvimos 1 hora y media esperando a que nos atendieran para hacer el check in porque la recepcionista tenía una fiesta en su cuarto y no escuchaba ni el timbre ni el teléfono cuando la llamábamos. Anteriormente nos hemos quedado aquí y nunca había pasado eso.

- Edward (6/5): Okay - It was just okay, nothing spectacular. The room was large but old and updated a big plus it had hot water, they advertised a restaurant but did not have one. The key to the room was padlocked to the key for the air conditioner in other words if you had two people in the room and one stayed behind you either had to leave that person without ac or you just had to ring the front door bell and wait to be let inn. Like I said just okay

Cons: HARD to find; Uber guy and I searched for 10 minutes d/t lack of signage & the facade doesn’t look like a hotel. NOTHING like the pictures….. I’ll say that again… NOTHING… not even close ; kudos the the marketing person! ;0) I should have taken pictures but I was too tired after traveling all day! Very Spartan. White walls, white linens, no artwork. Bars on the windows with no view. OLD… doors are warped & I got locked in my room when I was checking out. I had to jimmy the lock! Towels were gray and needed a good bleaching. The microwave looked to be from the late 70s. Fridge was maybe 90s. “Furniture” was built in concrete. No wood in the room! Amenities: when I arrived nothing was plugged in or turned on. I only needed the air and it took about 2 hrs to cool the room. There is nothing to eat within walking distance when it’s dark. If you uber it, the mall is close. There are no cups, glasses, or water in the room. Small generic shampoo and the smallest bar of soap I’ve ever seen! There was a sign on the reception “desk” that said $90/nt. After spending $56 I didn’t feel cheated… but at $90!!! Hell no!! Cheers!

- Michael (8/5): Quiet, clean, comfortable - excellent value and superbly situated - The Inn is in a quiet residential neighborhood close to the Canal Zone and also the Albrook Mall - and just 10 minutes to Casco Viejo. Our room was clean and comfortable. The front desk person, KC, was friendly and helpful. The pool is a very nice amenity - though shallow it's perfect for cooling off. We're vegetarians so skipped the breakfast. We wanted to stay out of the big city so the location was perfect. The accommodations aren't sumptuous but we didn't need them to be.

The pool and back area were nice. The room, while relatively large, was simple, like no closet, no comfy chair, etc. It reminded me of rooms I would have in a Trappist monastery.
