Guest Reviews
- Annette (8/5): Great restful getaway - Beautiful peaceful and secluded location.
- Susan (10/5): -
- Jo (10/5): - Beautiful location, accomodation was perfect, everything you needed, very cosy feel. The morning views from the tent were incredible. So peaceful and tranquil.
The communical space was great, we enjoyed the table tennis with many competitions and the camp fire was a real treat.
We really appreciated a tour of the veg gardens and workshop which was happening, and a massive thank you to Peter (I believe that was his name) who helped us with car trouble. All the staff were very approachable and helpful with lots of thought gone into the place.
We hope to visit again :) Nothing- perfect stay
- Angela (10/5): Peaceful and restful - We loved the peace and quiet - the beds were comfortable The temperature of the spa at 37 degrees - we did eventually work out to reduce the heat. 37 degrees in summer was far too hot
- Beverley (9/5): It was what I expected. Central to many towns and parks - Location very good, loved the quietness and the fresh air
- Jolene (8/5): Peace and quiet and well rested - Location was fantastic very quiet and peaceful...bed was amazing and waking up to the beautiful views was lovely. The daily visits by the family dog was welcomed!! Sharing the bbq area and fire pit with another couple was not ideal...it was a romantic retreat and it would be better if each tent had their own private section... Decked area with spa could be more private too...the use of shower curtains to close in the deck were not really up to the job and we felt overlooked by the other tent. The glamping tent was a little tired however was clean and tidy...lighting around deck area was poor but use of some fairy lights would have been a nice touch ( we brought our own to hang!!)
- Aaron (10/5): -
- Paul (8/5): -
- Mary (10/5): - It’s specious , clean and beautiful atmosphere Nothing
- Sarah (10/5): We had a great stay! - So quiet and comfortable. The bed was super comfy and everything was super clean!
- Declan (10/5): Brilliant, would stay again - Loved it partner and I had the best stay, went into town for breaky and coffee then out close by wineries during the day and more wines and jacuzzi at night, would do it again 100%.
- Chris.v (10/5): - The peace and sound of nature Said adults only but was kids in the tent next to us
- Stewart (7/5): Not really glamping but still very pleasant. - The comfy Queen-sized bed and the outlook from that bed... spectacular.
And the birdlife in the morning... like having one's own orchestra playing just outside!
The Spa is large for two people and was always at the right temperature.
Convenient accessibility to the property. The tent itself is a bit "tired" = old and worn. The zips don't close fully at the bottom of the front flyscreens. Not a problem for us but probably allows mozzies in during summer. The toilet bowl was stained, as was the "bathroom" floor .
Really, given the apparent size of the land, it would have been more of a glamping experience if the tent was bigger (especially the bathroom and little kitchenette).

- Inga (8/5): - Lovely location. Delightful glamping facilities. Bbq area very well equipped. Needed to make beds with extra blankets to suit the colder season. Zips on tents wearing out and getting stuck, needs some work on the door zip. Spa on one of the glamping sites was not full so didn't work.
- Dirk (9/5): Very relaxing and comfortable stay. - Very well equipped and comfortable accommodation. Loved the Spa. Peace and quiet. Sitting in the Spa gasing at the night sky
- Ashlee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Roxanne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chambers (9/5): Superb - the spa was amazing when we were able to use it and the bed was so comfortable. was disappointed to not be able to sit outside or in the spa when it was raining
- Jess (8/5): A wonderful weekend away. - It was a beautiful and tranquil stay. It was a good break from the hustle and bustle of busy work weeks. The bed was super comfy, and we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. The team was super helpful, accommodating, and wonderful to chat to. My only recommendation would be to either have a bigger fan in the room or have another one. It did get extremely hot during the day, and that one small fan didn't help much. But other than that, it was a lovely weekend away!
- Doug (9/5): Fantastic private, quiet, relaxing location. - Great seclusion, bed and spa, private location and lucky enough to have the place to ourselves. Far enough away to feel secluded, but short drive to the quaint township of Canungra. Would not have been so private if second tent was also booked.
- Theresia (8/5): Very good -
- Melissa (9/5): Relaxing, comfortable, clean and great place to spend time to unwind, recharge and take in the serenity. - Isolated quiet peaceful, everything supplied, clean and comfortable Could of had shampoo and conditioner
- Jana (7/5): Relaxing nature retreat - Was nice being away from the normal busy sounds of the suburbs and waking up to nature Unfortunately didn't know there was a house right next door to the tent as the pictures dont show it and they were quite noisy throughout the day with power tools etc. Also does get quite hot in the tent so maybe an upgrade to an aircon unit of some sort would be nice
- Vikki (10/5): Great experience. 100% recommend - Very clean. Comfortable bed, stunning surrounds Nothing
- J (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alicia (10/5): Amazing 😍 - Glamping, spa, location, nature, perfect relaxing spot Can't fault anything.
- Shane (8/5): Very good -
- Nikita (9/5): Superb -
- Karol (10/5): Exceptional - Private and secluded
- Deb (8/5): Very good -
- Carmen (8/5): Really nice place but for the price per night it looks a bit tired … bed was comfortable and clean - Beautiful grounds, clean , close to Canungra Can’t rate staff didn’t see any which was fine .. house is very close to the tent not a lot of privacy just curtains .. needs something permanent .. Doona cover is old decor needs updating .. moto x bikes ripping up and down the fence line then the ride on started for 2 hrs .. not much of a retreat
- Zoltan (10/5): It’s a beautiful place. We really enjoyed our stay 🙂 -
- Peter (8/5): Relaxing, especially the spa. - We were supplied with everything we needed to be self contained. The bbq pavilion was well equipped. We were fortunate to be the only guests. If the second glamping tent had been occupied, we would not have enjoyed the same privacy.
- Shenay (10/5): Thank you it was incredible - Location was stunning and isolated while still close to activities and shops and the place was very well set out, comfortable and made the most exciting weekend away !
- Tua (10/5): Exceptional - Very lovely relaxing spot! Would definitly visit again 😁
- Kendal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amanda (10/5): Amazing, best sleep I’ve ever had - Amazing so comfortable, so quiet. I have never slept so well. Nothing
- Friedmann (9/5): A great romantic retreat for couples, that covers almost any possible need for a comfortable stay. - Beautyful location with deadly quiet nights and charming evenings including all the visiting wildlife. The morning view from the bed is just awesome. We loved the facilities such as the games/BBQ/firepit area and of course the spa and the whole deck. They really thought of everything. SUBJECTIVELY, the bed was just too soft for us and with the weight of the cover I had a hard time to turn during the night. This of course is VERY individual. We still thought that investing in lightweight duck feather/down duvets would enhance the experience. Again, being Europeans, we're biased towards warm but lightweight individual quilts with freedom of movement as opposed to a traditional English shared, 2-sheet sleeping bag style cover.
We wouldn't mind to see a human face of the hosts, though their digital communication was really efficient. Being a glamping facility, the price was a bit on the high side for outside the weekend and school holidays period.
- Jodie (6/5): Was very relaxing however when paying a premium price upkeep needs to be done. - The idea is amazing and when it was new I am sure it was worth the money. It has dated and some improvements need to be made. The neighbours being right there when it is ment to be a secluded getaway
- Shawnee (9/5): It was amazing. - The view! The birds! The feeling it gives you. It’s peace. The spiders haha
- Teagan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carmen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kim (10/5): We will be back - Private, relaxing, Privacy screening didn’t work, door to tent would be better on other side so you could walk from tent to kitchen area , small bbq on deck would work better then the common bbq area
- Gizele (10/5): Exceptional - The accommodation was very tidy and clean. Very comfortable bed 😊
- Erin (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful spot and amazing facilities - will be staying again! Privacy when using the spa.
- Lynette (8/5): Very good - Glampimg tents were awesome, well equipped clean, quite and private. Perfect for couples looking to connect with very little other distraction.
- Trista (9/5): Our first ever glamping experience and WOW! We had a wonderful weekend. Thank you - The spa was amazing, the views of the trees and mountains were amazing. Fresh jam and coffee... looovee!! And the bed.... very comfy! Thank you Robes would make a great addition. Also some extra hooks for towels/robes. Some pegs to keep the outdoor curtains closed for privacy. Salt and pepper and a few cleaning items in the kitchen, eventhough we did bring our own luckily. Maybe a new fitted sheet on the bed too. All these are super minor things. Our stay was wonderful and these are just a few suggestions.
- Tammy (10/5): loved our stay, adults only. so quiet and peaceful. Will definitely be back - quiet, clean, romantic
great facilities
- Brad (9/5): Great 3 day weekend from Brisbane - Awesome location, clean and tidy facilities, comfy bed. Was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway from the city Nothing to note
- Pryscila (10/5): Exceptional -
- Van (8/5): Very good -
- Kaitlyn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kirstine (10/5): Exceptional - Loved everything! The spa, the fire pit, the nature and tranquillity! Just brilliant. 7 min drive to amazing pizza and the canungra pub for dinner!
- Kim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bek (10/5): Perfect for two couples to enjoy a weekend away relaxing and unwinding. - Lee and staff ensured our stay was perfect celebrating our anniversary. Beautiful place and private jacuzzi was so special. Not to mention the fresh Hoe made dragon fruit jam gifted. Nothing everything was perfect, even included a TV with some movies to choose from. Honestly can’t fault.
- Anne-marie (10/5): Exceptional - Totally relaxing!! The rain but that is not the fault of the hosts.
- Juliana (10/5): Exceptional - Everything super tidy, clean and organized. Spa was amazing and perfect temperature for a cold day.
- Kendell (9/5): relaxing, comfortable - we will be back! - had everything you needed, with great facilities- comfy bed, bathroom and views.
well kept property. some traffic noise during the day, but not enough to ruin the vibe.
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hayoung (7/5): Good -
- Riley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nicole (10/5): awesome - Just loved everything, it was amazing. The bed was soooo comfortable. cannot wait to come back 😊 Nik
- Maaike (4/5): Great spot with nice view but would not recommend. - Good bed, great view and the facilities were clean. The tent smelled really bad , a lot of mould everywhere and you can smell it while laying in bed. The neighbour/owner spent 5 hours on a mower next to our tent which was very noisy. Jacuzzi was nice but discoloured the bathing suit . Everything is functional but no personal touch.
- Sylvia (5/5): would have been great if the bed was comfortable but unfortunately trip wasn’t what we expected as we ended up with rest - lovely spot the bed sagged in the middle. we had sore backs both nights.
- Jessica (9/5): Superb - Loved everything, great set up The spa could have been a little cleaner
- Caity (10/5): Exceptional - So peaceful and Relaxing
- Peta (6/5): Beautiful, great company, not very relaxing with noisy neighbours - Everything about the actual facility was lovely How noisy the neighbours were. We understand people live in the house next door and expect some noise but it is advertise as a quiet, relaxing place to stay and that’s not what we got. Machinery, loud music on the Friday afternoon and Saturday, mowering and whipper snipping on the Sunday morning at 8am. Not sure what they can do about it but we didn’t enjoy it that’s for sure, was a shame
- Jackson (10/5): Exceptional - dining area was great nothing, was exactly what we were looking for
- Roberta (10/5): Loved our weekend at Tuckers Retreat - The accommodation is lovely with great views of the valley and only two tents on the section of the property. The shared spaces are so considered with a BBQ, utensils, cooking oil, table tennis table with bats and balls, counter and chairs, table and benches all under a lovely pergola.
The fire pit is a bonus with wood provided for an evening's worth of fire.
The kitchen had enough crockery and cutlery needed and complimentary coffee, milk and water bottles.
Bed is a good size with electric blankets which we used every night. The ensuite has a shower, vanity and toilet with a septic tank. Bathroom was clean and airy.
Loved the jacuzzi on the deck and privacy curtains.
We were after an uncrowded location and this property provided exactly that.
Wildlife was great to experience. There is no stove/oven in the kitchen, only a microwave. Wasn't too much of a hassle though as the local pizza shop delivered pizza so no cooking needed.😁
Bed was a bit too soft for our liking.
The road runs next to the property and the noise can be pretty loud at times. Could benefit from a hedge to block some of the noise.
There is a creek running through the property but no clear access to it. Would be great if a path could be cleared.
- Gracie (10/5): Would recommend and will be back! - Awesome spot In nature. Such a beautiful place for a getaway. Definitely worth the money you pay, I would come here again. Had all the small touches you needed to make a stay comfortable & romantic.
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Malcolm (7/5): Great couple of nights. - Loved the location, a beautiful area for drives and hiking. A short drive to Canungra.
Bed was comfortable, tent was clean and tidy. Great to have a spa for your own tent.
The shared BBQ was big and clean, started every time.
The kitchen is small but we'll stocked, but probably only a couple of nights. We had a portable fridge otherwise we wouldn't have coped. The spa is off limits between 11pm and 8am. I get the 11pm, but 8am is a bit late considering where you are staying and a lot of us are up with sunrise when camping.
Also the spa heating is turned off overnight night so it's not so warm at 8am. We also noticed it getting cold before 11pm.
My other gripe was the spa lid weighed a ton. We could manage but was a struggle. Many wouldn't cope. It's full of water and badly needs to be replaced.
Just make sure to bring insect repellant and mozzie spray, it's not crazy but enough to annoy if you have nothing. Plus those little suckers will get into your tent and moment that door is open 😉
Would have preferred our own smaller BBQ.
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional - The peacefulness and wildlife were amazing, and that Spa bath was the best. Close drive to plenty of bushwalks, shops and restaurants. The TV didn't work in our tent. And that we had to leave...
- Christine (10/5): Exceptional - The spa The screen door. It needs a cover on it to stop the morning sun
- Cecili (9/5): Perfect location in the heart of hinterland - Nice and quiet location, close to everything, it is in the middle of national parks and all the wineries.
- Lilly (8/5): Very good -
- Manda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Simon (10/5): Magic! -
