• Janita Ramdayal (10/5): Relaxing Getaway that's Good for the Soul is all One Needs - We really enjoyed our stay here. The place is super comfortable,clean, and really very spacious. The rooms where we'll decorated, beautiful with comfortable,clean crisp linen. It is also close to the beach, which was a big win. Everything yoi need is there including dishwasher, washing line which made things so much easier. The pool was clean and perfect for cooling off, and we loved the outdoor shower with hot water after being in the beach. I would definitely recommend it and come back. Just a heads up- the dining room table is quite heavy, so it can be tricky to move and can cause injury if you are not careful.

• Parvishni (9/5): A perfect getaway from the city, with all the comforts of home. - Very beautiful home, has all the comforts of home. Neat, clean & tidy. A wonderful place to stay if you want to enjoy a quiet place away from home and that has access to the beach. The private pool is a great feature as it allows you to relax in the evenings in the privacy of your house. I would definitely recommend a stay here and I would definitely go back again. A couple things that need to be improved: WiFi: Did not have WiFi for the duration of our stay. I contacted both the host and reception (multiple times) and it was not resolved. Aircon in twin room: was not working and I had reported it to reception but was not fixed. Hot water: was switched off on 1 day and I had to get reception to come through and fix. No electric kettle and gas stove was a little slow.

• Sharon (8/5): Very comfortable and enjoyable. - Clean, neat, tastefully decorated, a really lovely unit. Friendly pleasant lady who came to service. Not a particularly important thing not to like…..but I did not appreciate the ‘plastic-like’ under-sheet on the main bed upstairs. I think complimentary tea and coffee sachets would be nice.

• Noeleen (10/5): Beautiful Villa - Amazing villa, very spacious and beautifully decorated. Only a short walk down to the beach. Having a private pool was also very lovely to relax by. Well equipped kitchen. Aircons available to help with the heat. I would definitely book again. The lounge needs an extra sofa or armchair as there are not enough seats for 6 people. Only 2 x one seaters and a three seater sofa.

• Desica (7/5): Has potential, but needs better management. - The house has a fantastic location on the beachfront street. We did not get to use the pool, due to our own late arrival, but it is a lovely small pool sheltered from beach winds. We slept in the main bedroom and the linen was not clean. The bed was made perfectly, but there were a few different medium length hairs inside the bed and the bed smelt of perfume. This is terrible! The bedside lamps are not working, and upon trying to get them to work we realised they are almost falling apart. The stove in the kitchen is a gas only stove, we couldn't get the top element to light up or work.

• Humaira (8/5): Very good - Cleanliness of the entire unit was amazing Unfortunately the inventory checking process was tiresome, looking for items that were not in the unit - the list should have been updated and housekeeping informed us that the list was incorrect The gas for the stove was also finished - This was only realised very late in the evening and could have been checked before arrival The aircon in the downstairs bedroom did not work unfortunately.

Some of the staff were just so unfriendly. The beach security and house keeping were really friendly however the staff at the check in gate/reception were not too friendly.

• Vinola (10/5): Barbados 13-Carribean Estates - Barbados 13 is just amazing. The estate itself is well run and maintained. I love how safe and secure it feels once inside the facility. Staff are friendly and accommodating as well. The unit itself is spacious and very very clean and has everything you would need for a relaxing weekend away. The added bonus of the private pool as well as being able to take walks on the beach was also lovely. We were a few minutes away from the Wild Coast as well, so the location was perfect. There was only minor things, like the pool seemed highly chlorinated during our stay so the kids couldn't play in it for long, geyser was off on our arrival but maintenance came and sorted it out really quickly. There was no electric kettle at the unit(that we could find) only a stove top kettle, which my lack of patience only ever allowed it to boil once(whistle) and managed to have a good cuppa,but as I said just minor things.

• Nareshni (8/5): Stress free holiday - Location is beautiful. Private pool is great. Beds are very comfortable. Clean and neat. Feels like home. Has backup water and electricity so can forget about the stress of loadshedding and water cuts during the holiday.

Would definitely recommend and book again (hopefully soon). - The property had all the we needed including beach towers, kitchen is well stocked with all utensils and the pool was kept clean on a daily basis. Was also great that the property has solar and emergency lights for load shedding. The cutlery is a bit worn out that should be replaced. Would bring my own next time.

Outside of the the owners control was the geyser bursting but the estate management leapt into action with a solution Burst geyser. Washing machine not easily accessible or noted in the guidelines, we had to find it
• Pariksha (8/5): Very good - Very comfortable and beautiful home away from home. Everything was clean and tidy. Back up power so loadshedding isn't really felt. Some aspects of maintaining require attention. 1. Light of extractor fan not working 2. The middle plate on the gas hob was not working. 3. The racks in the over did not fit and we could not use to oven to the extent that we needed. Appears like the racks were taken from another oven. Reported to.maintainence who said they would deal with it the next day. There was no further assistance with regard to this. The home is beautiful and would definitely recommend but staff on site were not very helpful or effective.

• Rikhotso (9/5): Beautiful.. Looking forward to visiting again. - We loved it here. Property is beautiful, well furnished and probably has the best location on the estate. Not much to not like about this place except the washing machine being in the garage which is across from the house..
• Junaid (9/5): Superb - The property is wonderful. It has everything you need for a short or longer stay (washing machine, dryer, washing lines, dishwasher, iron and board, hairdryers). Close access to the beach via the walkaway. There is an outside shower as well as pool towels. Overall the kids as well as the grannies had a fantastic stay!

The racks inside the oven was too small for the oven itself. Shower handle was broken No keys to the doors leading to the pool Hot water enough for only three people at a time but if you wait an hour, it's hot enough again for the next person The rate was pretty high for off peak season Aircon in the main room didn't work on heat setting
