She explained and suggested only the finest restaurants and attractions for Pollonia and all of Milo’s. The world needs more owners like her who truly love what they do. This is a must stay!!!

She made sure I was safe, helped me book a ferry and taxi to get back to Athens to go home due to a medical and personal emergency. She even made sure I ate and had water. The property is beautiful, right by the water and you can’t ask for a kinder host! Even comes with a bottle of wine.

Pollonia is an amazing town in Milos and I do not think there is a better place to stay in Milos than the Heliotropio Hotel. Please consider booking here!!!!
- Timothy (10/5): Room with great view and location - The room was amazing with a gorgeous view of Pollonia. You can see the sunrise on the left side of the balcony and sunset can be viewed from 50m away from the hotel.
- Keith (10/5): Relaxing and charming. - Perfect place to chill out. We needed a bit of a relaxing time as a family wiht a little less of the touristic rushing around to to sites, and Milos was great and Pollonia and the Heliotropio were perfect.

Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in polllonia. Only downside was there was no place to put the shower head above you while you shower, so you have to hold it up yourself. But other than that, we had a great experience and would definitely come back.

- Valerie (10/5): Accueil parfait! (mais prix élevé) - Un bel endroit, avec une hôtesse très agréable et très serviable. Anastasia nous a accueillis avec une grande affabilité et nous a donné de bons conseils (visites, excursions, etc). Elle nous a même, à notre demande, imprimé nos cartes d'embarquement la veille de notre départ (sachant que Sky express souhaitait que chaque voyageur soit déjà muni de son boarding pass en arrivant à l'aéroport). Bref, une hôtesse très à l'écoute. La seule réserve que je puisse émettre, c'est le prix des nuits: 270 E + les charges pour un studio, c'est hors de prix, même avec la vue sur la mer; mais c'est malheureusement le prix de Milos, destination très onéreuse depuis toujours, mais encore plus depuis la crise (et peut-être le covid): il y a 20 ans, ce genre de studio petit, propre, confortable, et avec vue sur la mer, coûtait 200 ... francs. Madame Anastasia n'est évidemment pas responsable de l'augmentation générale des prix en Grèce! Son service était impeccable, rappelons-le.

Walking distance to town and restaurants, beautiful bay view with swimming nearby. Huge space with kitchen and separate sleeping areas for kids. Wished breakfast was included.

- Adam (10/5): Amazing honeymoon at the Heliotropio! - The hotel manager was a really nice lady. She was excited to host us on our honeymoon, and when we arrived, our room was decorated really nicely to help celebrate our marriage. Arriving to the hotel was an amazing experience! The room (the double room with an ocean view) was good and spacious with a nice bathroom and a fridge. And the view from the room was amazing. Housekeeping every day. The towels were also changed every day which, perhaps, was not necessary. The breakfast was good. Unfortuantely, the hotel manager's assistant was sick during our stay, meaning that we couldn't get lunch or dinner at the hotel which was a shame since the menu looked really good. From the description and pictures on Hotels.com, we thought that there would be a nice common area with a terrace and lounge chairs. We were not able to find this area during our stay. Finally, the address on Hotels.com is wrong as it is just the center of the town Pollonia. Thus, we thought that the hotel was just 50m from the beach whereas it is really 400m from the beach and 700m from the city center.
- Jason (4/5): - Booked as read about the friendliness of owner etc but our experience could not have been different , arrived with 2 daughters and was rushed around, told we don’t do breakfast every day , and then told to pay full amount when Expedia showed had a deposit applied and owner would not understand I wanted to check bank first, hadn’t been paid but just wanted to check , anyways that’s was only interaction, so wish hadn’t booked it , think old brown furniture , plastic covers on furniture , toilet seats that don’t stay up , one bottle of water in 2 days for 3 people , no soap , and outside has seen better days .. but like staying at someone’s old holiday house .. a disappointment when see all the nice new places around the area

- Thibaut (10/5): Superbe !! - Hôtel familial situé tout au bout du village, à côté de l'église St-Nicolas. Environnement résidentiel très calme, donnant directement sur le bord de mer. Vous en aurez pour une dizaine de minutes de marche depuis le centre du village. L'accès à pied est sûr. L'hôtel dispose d'un accès privé à la mer, d'un café où il est possible de prendre le petit déjeuner (9€) ou un repas, ainsi que d'un parking privé. L'accueil est très chaleureux (en grec, anglais ou français) ! Une carte de Milos vous est proposée avec les nombreux lieux sympathiques et incontournables à visiter. L'hôtel en général ainsi que la chambre étaient très propres. Le ménage est fait tous les jours. La chambre est grande, bénéficie de rangements et d'une jolie terrasse. Le seul bémol pour nous a été la literie un peu trop molle (nous préférons les matelas fermes). Tout le reste a été parfait, nous y reviendrons avec joie !!

Jolie chambre très bien décorée avec balcon donnant sur la mer. Accueil chaleureux avec de nombreux conseils, parfait endroit pour visiter l'île !

The property is very close to the beach and the small town. The owners are very helpful and friendly.

Easy walk to the bars and resturants and most of all the staff were very helpful and accomodating. We loved Milos and suggest staying here if you want to experience the island. They have free parking next to the hotel which is great as well as we would suggest getting a little car.

They always made sure that we had what we needed and more. My friend and I felt welcome, safe and pampered staying at the Heliotropio. We hope to go back to Milos and stay there again.
