Guest Reviews
- Emily (10/5): Excellent - The property was in a great location and clean.
- Emily (10/5): Excellent - The property was in a great location and easy access.
- Boykin (7/5): - The staff and the room was Good No blow dryer in the room and the doors slam so a little noisy
- Sylvie (10/5): -
- 610barrettf (10/5): great experience! - I had a great stay here and Dia at the front desk was awesome! She was super friendly and professional and provided the type of service that makes me a 100+ night stay customer with Marriott. The coffee was hot and good, the food was great as was the gym. Thanks Dia! I will be back:)
- Marcy (1/5): Worst ever!! - Nothing I had my reservations since March 2025. Came from Idaho. Got to the hotel at 1:30 hoping for an early check in. The one person working at the desk was in the phone and quickly told me they were completely booked and cant check in until 3:00. We waited to tell her that we had reservations. She said they overbooked and wee were on the list to move to another hotel in Rome. We chose that hotel because of the location for our event. Now we are 20 minutes farther from our event. Horrible! The worst part is that we NEVER received a phone call , email nothing to tell us before we drive there that the reservation we made in March was no good. Horrible customer service The poor lady at the desk was left to do the dirty job of telling people. Way to treat your customers and employees. Worst experience ever!!!
- Rebecca (9/5): -
- Brandon (10/5): -
- Sean (5/5): - The room was fine Not very tidy, no towels for the pool ,wrappers on the floor and hallways
- Jessica (10/5): Great stay - The size of rooms. Clean and up to date. No spa
- Tracy (10/5): Excellent staff, very nice clean room, super comfortable -
- Raymond (10/5): - Its not far from anywhere i wanted to be
- chasrita (8/5): -
- Tomas (8/5): - Good average hotel and no complaints
- Robert (10/5): Heel fijn hotel tegen redelijke prijs. - Zeer complete kamer, soort mini appartement. Superschoon.
Vlak bij winkels & restaurants.
Bijna direct naast de snelweg.
Vriendelijk personeel. Niks
- Carol (6/5): Misleading description of the room - Booked a one bedroom suite with a sleeper sofa for three adults. Turned out the king bed was not in a separate bedroom. The sleeper sofa was positioned to open up against the foot of the bed so very inconvenient for everyone. Hotels.com may be responsible for the inaccuracies - seems to have gone downhill in the last few years.
- Kelly (10/5): - Property was great. Room was very clean and spacious. Multiple restaurants ans shopping just minutes down the road.
- Shannon (4/5): - Worst matttess ive ever attempted to sleep on. The floor would have been more comfortable. Fridge was warm when I arrived and several of my items went bad before it got cold.
- Helen (10/5): - Loved the layout of the 2 bd suite. Comfortable and clean
- Teresa (10/5): - We stayed in 20 some hotels on our Colossus of Roads Trip and this was either the Best or in the top three. The room was perfect four our group of four — two bedrooms with great beds and pillows, a kitchen and sitting area, three TVs and so many plugins at bedside. Breakfast was great, there were plenty of choices (including Nutella) and if you didn’t get everything charged in your room, there were more plugins in the breakfast tables!
- 325larryr (10/5): Outstanding property, best of its kind - We only stayed a night but wish it had been longer! This place is simply the most well-thought-out property of its kind--and we travel a lot. They get the 'big' things right, but most do. So it's the 'little' things that individually are noteworthy and, taken together, created a uniformly excellent experience. Check-in and check-out were speedy and cordial. All staff were professional and upbeat, evidencing that they find it rewarding to work there.
The layout of our suite was exceedingly thoughtful. In particular, the closet! Doors were sensibly located to give access from the entrance/kitchen area and the bathroom. Its interior features were outstanding: places for shirts, jackets, trousers, suitcases, everything. And hooks! So often, this is a missed opportunity. This level of care and thoughtfulness radiated out to the rest of the suite. It had an intuitive design and while spacious, it was as though the logical spots for things (theirs and ours) had been considered.
I designed the furnished, medium-term rental apartment I added to my house, and I think I recognized these features maybe a bit more readily. But for any traveler, I think that they would emerge. We recently stayed at a property under a different imprint and while it was larger, the space was, frankly, wasted because it was not well considered.
Meanwhile, the other stuff. The pool was open (so often, they are not) and was sparkling clean. Fitness-room equipment was in good order. Breakfast was plentiful, and the seating area is airy and lovely.
We were in the area for the Glimmerglass (Opera) Festival. We had another rental closer to the lake, and it was fine. But when we return next season, without hesitation, we will be booking our stay at this property.
- Crystal (10/5): - Always a good place, clean and safe. We stay yearly
- Eileen (9/5): -
- Renee (10/5): - A
- Eileen (10/5): - Excellent pool and other outdoor firepit, and free gilling!!!
- James (10/5): - Awesome experience
- Adrienne (8/5): - Place was great except there was mold on the pillows.
- Robyn (10/5): - It was great night.
- Rose (3/5): Poor - Location Absolutely nothing I was lied to by front desk staff regarding the incidental I was told it was between 25 n 50 dollars over the phone n when I checked in it was 150.00, the bed was the worse woke up a few times during the night with my back killing me n my husband, so we didn't get very much sleep, breakfast was horrible, I doubt I'll ever stay there again
- Jennifer (10/5): - Nice comfortable suite style rooms with good breakfast options
- Efren (10/5): - Love the location and everything was really clean. The building looks like it’s brand new! Strongly suggest
- Verified traveler (6/5): Small room - Room was small. We thought we had a suit with living room and bedroom. The couch rolled out as a bed touching our bed. The pool was cool and relaxing environment.
- Dawn (9/5): Was like being at home.. spacious and comfortable - Nice location for visiting with college student
- Ann (1/5): Bad - Nothing Was being renovated paint everywhere paint prep everywhere
- Tracy (10/5): - Room was perfect. Newly renovated. Only criticism is we were on the first floor at the end of the hallway and heard the loud clicking of the door every time someone went in/out of the building. There was a lot of morning activity. More attention should be paid to noise created with doors opening/closing.
- Gina (10/5): Management and all personnel very nice, accommodating and professional. - Excellent. Waffles were a treat. Omelette was real good too Property being under construction but certainly understandable
- Steven (8/5): Adequate but not special - I was in town apartment hunting and needed a place just to crash last minute. They are remodeling so the place was a little bit rough. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Breakfast I guess I was expecting something different but I have specific health needs and so my options were limited. For standard diets it’s adequate but nothing special.
- Misty (9/5): Great location, quiet rooms, clean - Breakfast options were great for me and my daughters, I would love to see gluten free options for like toast or bagel.
All the staff we came in contact with were very friendly. Most of the time nobody is at the front desk if we needed something.
The pillows go flat and makes sleep uncomfortable.
Housekeeping did not replenish or clean anything in our room during our stay so we had to go ask for the things we needed.
- Irina (10/5): - Good hotel, very friendly and helpful staff
- Nicole (10/5): - Those at the front desk were friendly and welcoming. Also the one that was taking care of the continental breakfast was friendly and helpful and a good variety of food. My room was clean, comfortable and convenient. The pool area also clean and cute. Hotel overall is clean, excellent and a quiet area. I'm glad I chose to this one for my stay. Highly recommend!
- Queena (2/5): - I called the hotel to see if I can bring my children to go to the pool I was told that it was fine when I arrived I was told the pool was open and by the time I went to my room to change came back down I was told the pool was now closed due to an isssue I then waited till morning to talk to the manager Courtney and I asked her why did she tell me the pool was open when it wasn’t she proceed to say well my employee told me you had children with you who was not on the room… which was never stated that I couldn’t have children with me and she put $150 hold on bank card and told me it was only suppose to be $20 hold so I believe this was all discrimination and made it a horrible stay for me and my children
- Catherine (9/5): It was a great stay while visiting family. - It was great to have breakfast each morning. I have to say the scrambled eggs were the best. can't think of anything
- Irina (10/5): - Will definitely stay again
- Britt (10/5): I’ll be back - Friendly staff, clean room, location was good Looking for better glassware. Perhaps bigger glasses
- Shannon (6/5): Random charges on my card. Scam - This place charged my card extra. Stayed there for one night. A few days after my stay I get a charge for $30 to $40. Never broke or stained anything. Got in the hotel late, fell asleep, woke up and left. We didn’t even use the shower!! Rip off will never ever go back.
- Caitlin (8/5): - This property was clean, comfortable and convenient.
- Clay (8/5): - All is good excepting the overhead light in the desk that refuses to turn on consistently.
- KRISTEN (10/5): - First time here seems nice so far.
- denised950 (10/5): Highly recommend - We definitely would stay here again. We had a three night stay. We loved the location! Very convenient. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, and we appreciated the kitchenette. The breakfast was decent and well appointed.
- Tammy (1/5): I was double charged for a one night stay. Hotel refuses to refund me back. -
- Deana (6/5): - Rooms and bathrooms were clean. The free breakfast was very poor quality with few options and the food service and eating areas were filthy. The staff was very curt with everyone I heard them speaking to. The linens and pillows were not comfortable but the mattress was fine. For what they charged it felt like we didn’t get enough of a value.
- stuartk233488 (2/5): Bitten by something - We stayed here in early September. My brother and I were both bitten by something. We suspected bedbugs. We were offered a different suite which we accepted. My brother was led to believe we would not be charged for the stay but upon checking out discovered we were.
- Dave (10/5): - Clean and convenient would stay again.
- Laduke (9/5): Superb -
- Pat (10/5): - Easy from start to finish!
- Valerie (6/5): - Laundry room flooded while I was doing laundry. Sofa bed in first room was uncomfortable on the first night so I asked for another room. The room charge was charge extra and they couldn’t fix it
- Nalls (10/5): Exceptional -
- Doreen (10/5): Awesome very first experience staying at a Mariott - Wonderful experience from check in at counter to checkout day Shower faucet loose...couldn't turn off after shower...had to let water run til maintenance goy "temporarily fixed (all he could do for the time being...nit his fault)...hope Room No 200 shower has been permanently repaired as I hope to stay in that room in October this year...loved everything else about the room)
- Debra (3/5): Poor - Location and staff The rooms were sprayed so heavily with deodorizers. Too much and my eyes were burning from it. Also, the carpets were filthy and the bed spreads had several dark stains and need to be replaced. Overall not clean enough and trying to mask odors with sprays is not good or healthy.
- Melissa (8/5): - My first stay here this month was great...the second one was not quite....the room was good, clean and spacious. Our problem was that our keys deactivated every day which was a huge hassle. One of the days the desk clerk said it was because our stay ended..not true (it was 2 days before checkout) other than that, it was fine.
- Brian (9/5): Superb -
- Barbara (8/5): - Easily accessible to venues in the area.
- suedE4771ZS (10/5): Great stay! - This is a great hotel! Super easy on and off the highway, quiet, clean, comfy bed, fantastic shower and towels, and plenty of lights and outlets! The staff we met were friendly and cheerful. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked. We will definitely stay here the next time we’re in the area!
- Victorial (10/5): Nice out of the way surprise ! - Found this last minute gem and was pleasantly surprised. Nice reception and room. We enjoyed the perfect temperature indoor pool and comfortable furniture.
Breakfast was different than what you usually see but good. Not right near the highway but worth the trip. Will stay again on one of our trips from Ohio to family in Maine.
- Jennifer (10/5): Comfortable, spacious stay - Booked a suite with a very reasonable price. Two rooms and full kitchen. Very clean, comfortable. Breakfast included in booking which had a variety of items to choose from.I highly recommend this place.
- Patricia (8/5): Very good - Breakfast was good other than for the day that the person who was supposed to prepare it didn't show up for work. I felt bad for the person who was trying to do everything. See above
- Delthony (8/5): - It was good enough. Our room had an issue but the team tried to do what they could to make amends. Also when the pool was closed, the manager on duty called a neighboring hotel 🏨 and got permission for us to is their facility.
- Brian (10/5): Great stay at the Marriott, I'd go there again - When I couldn't find the place on my GPS, the person gave clear directions to where it was located. When I met the person I spoke at the front desk, he asked me what floor I would like and I said first floor and it was only a few doors down from the front desk which was very thoughtful of him. I wouldn't have to lug my bags a long distance from the parking lot. He told me the pool hours and when breakfast was served and was very amiable and friendly. The other staff members were equally kind and courteous.
- Kelly (5/5): Reasonable for what I needed - Location and room had full kitchen I don’t like the hold that was placed on my card and I wasn’t told about. Also, it’s been 3 days since I checked out and the hold is still pending. I did not like housekeeping going in my room the day I checked in and moved things around. There was no reason for them to be in my room.
- Avital (9/5): Great stay! - The suite was excellent, well-equipped with large and beautiful rooms, and good parking. The breakfast was excellent, beyond expectations; the kitchen staff were very accommodating and responded to all our requests. The only downside was that the air conditioner was noisy. The only downside was that the air conditioner was noisy.

- Lawrence (7/5): Good -
- Colleen (9/5): Staff friendly, breakfast good. Overall excellent experience - Convenient location
- Valerie (6/5): Pleasant -
- Stephanie (8/5): - Quiet safe place
- April (6/5): - Pool closed. Fire pit not working. Outdoor area wasn't cleaned all weekend, dirty with empty cups scattered around. Bathroom fan not working. Many high school sports team staying here and it was loud until 2am. We were disappointed, especially for the cost.
- Kathleen (7/5): Good - Size of the room Breakfast was very limited
Found a black bug in bed.
Bathroom was small
- Ricky (10/5): - Great Find
- Jason (9/5): Superb -
- Anthony (10/5): - We had a larger suite which had two bedrooms. Slept in one, luggage in the other. Bed was comfortable. Rugs were showing some age but clean. Furniture a bit dated but clean. Overall, the wall paint, curtains, kitchen appliances, etc were in good order and it was like having our own apartment.
- Matt (10/5): - Great, friendly staff.
- Andrea (8/5): Fire alarm snafu - Room was quite small -night 2 -the fire alarm went off at 3am which necessitated the entire hotel to be vacated in 30 degree weather for a period of 40 min —super irritating but staff was nice —and I was pleased that when asked for a review was compensated $100 for the inconvenience
- Karen (10/5): - Best hotel bed in a long time. The bed was firm but soft enough and same for the pillows. Enjoyed my stay. Would rebook in a heartbeat. Pleasant staff too!
- Angela-mike (5/5): Passable - The outdoor area was lovely ..too bad cushions weren't brought in to be dry for usage. Didn't like wet cushions
Suite wasn't cleanest
Chips spilt in hallway sat there all weekend.
Pool wasn't open and no notice given
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional - Stayed in a suite with girlfriends. It wS perfect & the staff was wonderful.
- Iasia (9/5): My overall stay was good. I just don’t like to see things on the floor from prior customers. Just makes me wonder how go - The property was nice. Location was great. Close to restaurants and shops. The cleaning lady forgot socks on the floor from the previous customer.
- Bonnie (10/5): New Hartford - Room was dated but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a little bit limited compared to others we’ve had. Staff was friendly. Pool area was dark but water clean and warm. We were in a suite that had a kitchen. Eating utensils were sparse. Each room had its own temperature control and the HVAC was very quiet. Overall, stay was good, comfortable and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again
- Renee (10/5): - I really enjoyed my stay.
- Clark (10/5): Family Fun Night - Exceptional staff. Very friendly and helpful. Very clean hotel. Loved the pool.
