Very friendly and hospitable staff. It is a nice place to stay in Hanoi. Recommended to all travellers to this beautiful city.

Everything is very poorly built and made, ie there was a gap between the door frame and the wall so there was light shining through the gap all night. The shower was switching between scolding hot and icy cold water every few seconds. Towels were old, fraying and stained. There was a weird smell in the lobby.amd communal areas.

Je n’ai eu aucun mal à me détendre ni à passer une bonne nuit de sommeil. Même lors d’un voyage d’affaires chargé, c’était un endroit paisible où revenir. Le lit était confortable et l’espace bien organisé. La chambre répondait à toutes mes attentes pour un séjour professionnel. Man darf nicht vergessen, daß man in Vietnam ist , und das Niveau nicht mit Europa vergleichen kann. Aber für den Preis war es ok. Auswahl beim Frühstück eher klein , aber das nötigste ist da.

• Peter (7/5): ok stay but... - While the location near the canal and lake is quite atmospheric and the staff provided a quick, efficient check-in, this stay was a mixed bag. We were upgraded from a family room to two separate rooms; while room 401 had a noticeable odor, room 404 was much better with comfortable mattresses and quiet, effective climate control. The rooms are tastefully decorated but feel "tired" and are in need of a functional update—we dealt with a leaking shower, a loose toilet seat, and kids disappointed by the lack of smart TV features. Cleanliness was only passable, and the hallway carpets were in very poor condition. It is a bit noisy at night due to the lively area, and while paying by credit card is convenient, be prepared for a 4% surcharge. It’s an okay option for an emergency stay like ours, but there are likely better properties in this price range. Breakfast was ok.

We are not happy with this.

Room was tiny, (could not even open my suitcase on the floor flat) bed was uncomfortable and the SMELL of old cigarette in my room was shocking. I tried to turn on the AC to get some air flowing and the aircon was orange/ brown inside and the smell coming out of it smelt even more like cigarettes and made it worse . Very unimpressed. Did not get a refund for my second night, as I left early I could not stand the smell and very disgruntled that the photos were nothing like the room
