- MARILEN (8/5): A delightful stay in a clean and cozy room with easy access to the beach and a gorgeous sunrise. - The room was clean and tidy. The reception (behind the bar) was friendly. There was free unassigned parking. Back verandah had a view of the sunrise. Easy access to the beach from the back entry. The food at the restaurant was very nice and generous. Excellent place to go to Triabunna to catch the ferry to Maria Island. I didn't realise it was fairly close to the bar. Having unassigned parking meant you might not be able to park outside your room if you left it.

It was so convenient that they had a restaurant and even better that they served some gf food, my roast was was exceptional and reasonably priced. We enjoyed our overnight stay ,our beds were very warm and cosy and comfie. There were no dislikes , we enjoyed our stay

Television and internet didn't work. Staff promised to look on the first evening but did not come although they were very busy. It was sorted out for the second night by the duty manager (faulty cable) who also gave us access to an alternative wireless connection.

- Kris (9/5): A great overnighter. Would definitely stay again. - The room was lovely, with modern decor and furnishings. It had everything for self catering including small cooktop and dishwasher. We didn't use it though, as the bistro and bar were literally only metres away. The outlook onto the riverfront was nice with floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors to a balcony. A table and chairs, couch etc so you don't have to lie in bed to watch TV. And the TV was huge! Lighting was good which is often not the case. Parking was close by. It is handy having everything on site and we could have stayed another night if we hadn't already booked everything before leaving the mainland. The note about cleaning up crockery and cutlery could have been worded in a friendlier way, but having managed units myself I know how disrespectful guests can be.

Ils ont gracieusement accepté de garder nos bagages pendant notre séjour de 48 heures sur Maria!! Restaurant très bien: poisson excellent et cuit à point, hamburger aussi cuit juste à point!
- Roohi (7/5): Overnight Stop - Great location for Triabunna. Staff very friendly. Food was not bad for a motel. Shower had good power. Didn’t realise it was a casino also. Bed was very soft.

Good walks and 700 metres to the shops. 😁 Not alot of shelf space in the bathroom . And the mats outside the room held the rain which made it hard to walk into the room without bringing it in with you.

But I need to review how delicious my meal was last night. I had the seafood linguine and I can honestly say that it was the best I have ever had. So much fresh seafood balanced with a delicious base. The oyster Kilpatrick entree was perfect. And my husbands steak was cooked to perfection. Add to this waterfront views and great inside and outside dining options. Kid friendly too. Well done Blue Waters at Orford. We will be back 🙌🏻

- Cassie (4/5): Do not recommend. Walls paper thin and can hear all noise from neighbours and road clearly. - Generous room size, good shower pressure, clean bed, working aircon. Lolly found in seat, hair in sink drain, light over dining table not working, heat light in bathroom not working, WiFi not working, walls are paper thin, light coming in around blockout blinds, bed was too soft and when combined with firm pillows very uncomfortable, could clearly hear road noise, could hear snoring from next door, neighbours smoking on patio next door so couldn't use our patio or open the doors, no allocated parking so we had to park 50m away. If you're reading this then you probably have concerns like I did. I regret booking this place. I asked for a room change at the start due to noise and was told they were fully booked. Then discovered all the other problems. Since teaching out to the motel this morning I have not heard back.
