The breakfast was really disappointing. Not living up to the expectations, and also lacking some choice. We ended up going for breakfast in town the next day.

The room was spacious, clean, and had a balcony with a great view. The television was beautifully personalized with a welcome message. The staff on arrival are very attentive, and willing to accommodate guest that arrive at unusual times if, circumstance allow. There is also a shower that you can use if you arrive before check-in, which was fantastic for me because I arrived really early from my transfer bus. And lastly, the location was really convenient and safe (especially for a solo traveler)! I researched the early arrival shower access before arriving, but it would have been nice for them to bring it up when I arrived around 5am. But I'm happy they were patient and attentive!
Katina (10/5): The views ❤️❤️ - Amazing stay in Sapa! We loved the breathtaking views from our room and could even see the funicular train, which made the experience feel extra special. The room was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety and was one of the highlights of our stay. We used Grab to get around, which was incredibly cheap and convenient, especially since the weather wasn’t always ideal. Highly recommend for anyone looking for stunning views, comfort, and convenience in Sapa. Loved everything

Lindsay (10/5): - We loved our stay at the Aliana! The staff was incredibly helpful, from the welcome tea, to the towels they brought us at the pool, to helping us book our onward transportation back to Hanoi. They were always friendly and cheerful, whether it was the reception team, the restaurant staff, or those working in the spa. The restaurant served an excellent breakfast with lots of options and we also enjoyed their dinner service as well. The location offered beautiful views and a quiet stay since the hotel is down a road away from the center of town. However, we were able to walk to most places we needed within 15 minutes. The room was large, comfortable, and nicely furnished. Our balcony was a very nice spot to enjoy the morning with a cup of tea, watching the train to Fansipan pass by and enjoying the bird song. We utilized the spa for traditional herbal baths, which we would highly recommend! They were such a nice way to relax after a day of hiking or exploring. If we returned to Sapa, we would not hesitate to book this hotel again. The rooms have fairly dim lighting. This makes for a very relaxing atmosphere, but I wish there was better lighting at the bathroom mirror.

Breakfast was great, we had dinner in the restaurant one night and this was also excellent. The staff in the bar / restaurant are really friendly and attentive It’s a 10 minute walk out of town, the road is quite dark and up a hill. There is construction work going on nearby so was quite noisy in the morning

Chceli sme vymeniť izbu ale vymenili nám len posteľné prádlo. Vraj to je vlhkosťou ovzdušia vonku, že izby tak smrdia.

Vera (8/5): В целом все хорошо. Но есть отели интересней. - Брали в этом отеле два номера. Первый - совмещенные две комнаты, и второй - дуплекс двухуровневый. Соотношение цена/качество за первый отличной и вид даже хороший, пусть и с балкона без стульев и стола. Второй позиционируется с террасой, но факту эта терраса конечно печаль, подниматься на второй этаж не оч удобно, очень сильный уклон, освещение естественное на первом этаже весьма относительное. Поэтому наверное я бы рекомендовала данный отель только для обычных номеров с видом на горы, но не брать двухуровневые. Завтраки твердая четверка, персонал приветливый и вежливый. Расположение очень даже удобное. 10 минуток и вы у сапа стейшн. Завышенная стоимость на двухуровневые номера.

The hotel is situated on higher ground and is quieter, yet still within walking distance of the center. We had a very spacious room with a large balcony and a view of the mountains and train to Fansipan. The room was classically styled and equipped with all amenities. The hotel features a restaurant and a spa. An extensive breakfast buffet is served in the morning. Highly recommended for a quiet and luxurious stay in Sapa.

Jenny (10/5): Great views, amazing room. - Superb views of Fansipan from the Duplex Suite Terrace. The room is spectacular - essentially a double-level penthouse, very spacious, lovely decor. In order to have those sensational views, the hotel is located a bit further away from the majority of hotels. It's not a long walk; from Sapa Station, it's about 7 minutes, albeit uphill. However it is a quiet walk at night along a road that isn't in great condition.

We were allowed early check in and late check out at a nominal fee and our room was upgraded as well. Location is near enough town but away from all the noise. Breakfast was decent

Adrian (10/5): Highly recommended. - This is a modern, very comfortable hotel, 10 mins walk to town centre. Staff were very helpful and accommodating when we sought an early check in. We had a very enjoyable meal in the restaurant the night we stayed. Probably the best quality and value for money room we have experienced in Vietnam.

vivian (9/5): I like this hotel alot. Highly recommended to stay here - It is very near to town center but a quite version with a very nice monorail view😍 staff is friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is delicious as well! the only thing that struggling us is the slope on the way back to hotel. It would be best if the hotel provided shuttle bus back to hotel to skip the sharp slope.
M8493KSdavidf (10/5): Fabulous hotel - Fabulous hotel. Staff were very attentive and helpful, genuinely interested in us. The whole trip is part of our 25th wedding anniversary and they made a real effort decorating the room and bed on our arrival. The room was well appointed, spotlessly clean and warm. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The whole place had a luxury but laid back feel to it. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the main area of Sa Pa with plenty of restaurants and bars. The lemongrass mojito is not to be missed.

Katja (9/5): Sehr empfehlenswert und gute ruhige Lage - Die Lage im trubeligen SaPa ist perfekt, da in einer Nebenstraße gelegen und sehr ruhig. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sehr gefallen hat uns die geschmackvolle Einrichtung des Hotels in den Farben und Mustern der indigenen Volksstämme der Region. Einzig der Kaffee beim Frühstück wird dem gehobenen Standard des Hotels nicht gerecht. Da ist Luft nach oben.

Karel (9/5): Mooi comfortabel hotel op prima locatie met prachtig uitzicht. - De receptioniste was zeer behulpzaam. Heeft voor ons de reis naarbonze volgende bestemming geregeld waarbij wij bij het hotel werden opgehaald. Het restaurant was niet gezellig. Zelf fris.
Margit (6/5): Hotel ist ok - ich würde allerdings nicht mehr wiederkommen - Schöne Zimmer, freundliches Personal Lage ist außerhalb, zu Fuß der Ort erreichbar allerdings ziemlich steil, sehr schlecht beleuchtet und die Straße ist extrem schlecht. Es gibt zwar einen Spa jedoch nur eine Masseurin und auch die ist nur sehr eingeschränkt verfügbar. Das Bild vom Pool ist nicht aktuell - es wurde in der Zwischenzeit offenbar ein Gebäude davor errichtet, nur an einer kleinen Ecke gibt es noch Ausblick. Der Service im Restaurant war nicht gut, es gibt zwar viel Personal aber die stehen hauptsächlich herum. Das Wetter war schlecht, das ist nicht zu ändern, aber es war im ganzen Hotel sehr kalt - das Personal hatte dicke Jacken an.

GreggMS (10/5): Wonderful hotel and great service - We enjoyed our 4 night stay here. The hotel is quiet and has great views of Fansipan. Our room was quiet and the view from the balcony was great. Only complain was that operating the shower knobs was difficult. We had trouble getting the water to be the right temperature. The location is excellent - only about a 5 minute walk to the town center. The breakfast buffet was good but had a limited selection. They prepare omelets to order and these were delicious. They also provide a ride to and from Hanoi. This was expensive if going solo but well worth it. Our stay was less than $100/night and we had a balcony. Overall, a great place to stay while visiting Sapa.

Jeanette (9/5): - Lovely room with comfortable bed and clean. Staff are friendly and welcoming and the hotel is away from the busy centre. Not a very long walk to restaurants and shops and a slight hill climb to the hotel. It was cold when we visited and the bar and lounge area was very cold. We had to wear coats (and so did the staff). The fire in the centre gave off no heat as an extractor fan just pulled the heat away. It would have been nice to have blankets to snuggle under.

The spa was a bit confusing, we couldn’t find anyone that worked there when we wanted to use it. This might be due to having to pre book but on a short stay that’s not always that easy.

sue (10/5): - Hotel was absolutely beautiful for my 3 night stay, has excellent facilities, stunning views of the mountains from the bedroom balcony, the breakfast spread was delightful and evening meals were sublime. The staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly and all went out of their way to ensure that my stay was the best. Wonderful position, a short stroll into town with so much to see and do locally, felt totally safe and would recommend trekking around the rice terraces with one of the local guides.
