Comoda per la partenza del tour. Purtroppo c'era dello sporco "stagionato" dietro la porta del bagno ed il bagno non è stato pulito durante il soggiorno. Non ci è piaciuto ricevere una sola chiave e considerato che la reception non è presenziata la notte abbiamo avuto problemi con la chiave non funzionante perfettamente. La stanza sottotetto è carina se non si supera 180 cm.

• giuseppe (9/5): - Piccolo ma perfetto, la posizione e' nel cuore di Sarajevo, struttura che assolve agli standard di buona/ottima qualità, la stanza luminosa e tranquilla , bagno accogliente e funzionale con doccia, tv spazio piccolo ma adeguato , colazione variegata tendente al salato che apprezzo molto, qualità dei cibi freschi, un disabile potrebbe avere problemi per l'accesso alle camere, ci sono delle scale, ma la struttura e' stata migliorata su una vecchia abitazione,, ma lo staff credo sappia accogliere anche disabili non particolarmente problematici

• Ina (7/5): - Lage top, mitten in der Altstadt und sehr gut angebunden mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Die Mitarbeitenden waren sehr freundlich und haben Tipps gegeben. Das Zimmer war klein, aber sehr schön eingerichtet. Das Bad war modern. Es war leider sehr hellhörig. Ab 7 Uhr an einem Samstagmorgen war an Schlaf nicht mehr zu denken, da eine Baustelle direkt unter dem Zimmer war und gearbeitet und geschrien wurde. Es war auch sehr hell im Zimmer, die Jalousien haben nicht gut verdunkelt. Das Bad war nicht ganz sauber, es lagen viele fremde Haare rum. Dafür dann ziemlich teuer, man zahlt die Lage. Diese ist aber wie gesagt wirklich hervorragend.

There is a paid parking just around the corner and front desk was helpful with recommendations and parking questions. Room was clean! The hints of traditional decor but modern were perfect. Will not stay anywhere else if we come back to Sarajevo! Couldn’t figure out how to make AC cooler but that could be user error.

• TUĞBA (9/5): Çok iyi - Öncelikle tesisin konumundan başlayacağım, burası başçarşının tam en başında, en meşhur köftecinin tam karşısında ve en meşhur börekçinin 15 metre gerisinde bulunan, konum olarak çok iyi bir yerde olan bir otel. Bunun yanında rezervasyonumuzun ilk anından itibaren site üzerinden sorduğumuz sorulara çok kosa zamanda dönüş yaptılar ve bizi daha varmadan yardımcı ve yapıcı tavırları ile etkilediler. Vardığımızda ise hiçbir sorun yaşamadık ve tüm personelleri her zaman oldukça güler yüzlüydü. Bizim konaklamamızda kahvaltı dahil değildi. Buna rağmen 4 gün boyunca 3 yaşındaki çocuğumuza her sabah meyve suyu ve meyve ikram ettiler. Personel gerçekten çok güler yüzlü ve yardımseverdi. Başta siyah saçlı hanım olmak üzere hepsine ayrı ayrı teşekkür ediyoruz. Buradan kim gidecek olursa da konaklama için bu mekanı gönül rahatlığıyla öneririm. Her şey için çok teşekkür ederiz ❤️🤗 I’ll start with the location of the establishment: it is an ideally situated hotel, right at the beginning of Baščaršija, directly across from the most famous cevapi restaurant and just 15 meters behind the most famous burek shop. Furthermore, from the very first moment of our reservation, they responded to our questions through the website very quickly and impressed us with their helpful and constructive attitude even before we arrived. Once we got there, we didn't experience any issues, and all the staff members were always very friendly. Breakfast was not included in our stay. Despite this, they offered fruit juice and fruit to our 3-year-old child every morning for 4 days. The staff was truly very friendly and helpful. We would like to thank them all individually, especially the dark-haired lady. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone planning to visit. Thank you very much for everything! ❤️🤗 Mekanın tek bir sıkıntısı var o da kendi otoparkı maalesef yok ama bu da onların çok elinde olan bir durum değil. Bu mekan da çarşının tam içinde olduğu için otoparkının olamaması normal karşılanabilir The place has only one drawback: unfortunately, it doesn't have its own parking lot, but that isn't really within their control. Baščaršija is a tourist area and generally has parking issues. Since this place is right in the heart of the bazaar, the lack of parking can be considered normal.

The hotel is perfectly located in the city centre and across the street to the best place for Ćevapi. The best accommodation we had in our week travelling across Bosnia and Herzegovina. N/A

• Edwina (6/5): Very disappointing. - The location in the pedestrianised part of the old town was good and, if taxis are needed, they can stop very nearby. The breakfast buffet was good and we appreciated having a kettle and a safe in our room. The miserable staff! We’d chosen this hotel especially because there was mention in a previous review about acknowledgment of a guest’s birthday - and it was going to be both our birthdays during our 3-night stay which I’d mentioned when booking the hotel weeks in advance. Several weeks before our arrival, we asked the hotel to book a certain restaurant for our birthday dinner (as that restaurant wasn’t replying to my messages and it seemed a phone call was needed). The hotel didn’t do that for us despite frequent reminders so another kind person did it for us. While eating breakfast on our first morning, the unhappy staff were using the sink right next to the buffet for buckets and mops to clean the floors and the frontage of the hotel which seemed far from hygienic as well as the cleaning products’ smells pervading the dining area! When I mentioned this, they explained why it had to be done but, in my opinion, they should have explained this and apologised for the unfortunate situation before trailing through the dining area and past diners with buckets and mops. There was a generally unhappy atmosphere amongst the staff - the only place where we had this experience during our travels in BiH and Croatia and we really regretted having chosen this hotel for our special, big birthdays! We wondered if the staff have become complacent if the hotel is always full and just can’t be bothered with guests. If only there’d been the occasional greeting or apology or smile, our experience would have been very different!

Özellikle kahvaltısı ve çayı ile bir harikaydı. Çocuklar için düşünülmüş meyveli yoğurtlar ve pudingler ile doyurucu bir kahvaltı seçeneği sunuyor. Resimler ile gelip karşılaştığınız görüntü arasında herhangi bir fark yok. O yüzden ekstra resim eklemeye gerek duymadım. Hatta Mostara giderken bizler için sabah erkenden kahvaltıya sandviç, muz ve su koymuşlardı. Bunların tümünü göz önüne alınca verilen her kuruşun karşılığını alıyorsunuz. Bir daha gelirsem gene burda kalırım. Söylenecek kötü bir özelliği yoktu.

The atmosphere is very cozy and welcoming, which made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. The staff were amazing—extremely friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Everything was perfectly clean and well-maintained, which I really appreciated. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sarajevo and would definitely stay here again.

Kahvaltı saati bookingde yazan 7.30 yerine 8.30a çekilmiş. 7.45ten kahvaltıya indiğimizde otel çalışanı tarafından adeta azarlandık. Çocuğumuz olduğunu ve kahvaltıya başlayıp başlayamayacağımızı sorduk ama azar yedik. Çalışan daha nazik olabilirdi. Otelin şartlarına göre çok pahalı bir otel.

My room was spotlessly clean and large. A special mention to AMELA at reception. She helped us with directions and advice on places to visit in the city. Even called us a taxi to the airport on departure. Nothing. This place really has it all.

Die jungen Damen an der Rezeption sind ausgesprochen kompetent, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Während meines Aufenthaltes habe ich verschiedene Tagestouren mit MeetBosnia unternommen. Alles war top!

• Sara (10/5): Warm second home during the cold winter - I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. The location is its most amazing perk (it’s right at the beginning of old town so everything was close by, as well as having a bus/tram stop nearby), but everything else they offer is also great. Room i was in was so nice and warm, bed was very comfortable, and all the facilities (bathroom, tv, kettle) made me feel super welcome. But the main highlight is the staff! Everyone at the reception was so delightful, I spent few pleasant hours speaking to the girls at the front desk. They had great recommendations, made booking a taxi no hassle, helped me with my luggage, i really can’t find a flaw with the service (cleaning included!! The room was spotless.) Breakfast was good, it has variety without being overwhelming. All in all, i am definitely going to be coming back to this hotel anytime i visit sarajevo! Everything was excellent!!

• Cemre (10/5): A Home Away from Home - One of the best parts of our trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina was Hotel Old Sarajevo. Thanks to Amelia first, and then Edina, we truly felt at home. Meeting them was a real pleasure. My wife, our 1.5-year-old son, and I had a peaceful and enjoyable holiday, largely thanks to this hotel. Their sincere kindness towards our son, pleasant conversations with us, and strong sense of empathy meant a great deal to us. At my request, Amelia organized a small birthday cake surprise for my wife on the morning of her birthday. She also arranged surprise flowers — something I didn’t know about at all — so both my wife and I were genuinely surprised. Unfortunately, we couldn’t take the flowers with us due to limited luggage space. :( In addition, while our room was being cleaned, they even left a small snack for our son with a handwritten note, which truly reflects the empathy of the people running this hotel. On Booking.com, you may see comments mentioning minor inconveniences due to the hotel being a renovated historic building. However, even if you experience an issue, there is always someone ready to help and find a solution. The hotel’s location is exceptional. From the airport, you can reach the hotel with just a 2-minute walk after arriving by bus or taxi. All food and drink spots in the Baščaršija area are within 0–5 minutes on foot, and major attractions, as well as tram and bus stops, are only 1–2 minutes away. One thing I especially appreciated about the breakfast was that it avoids the excessive waste often seen in open-buffet hotels. There is enough of everything, and the breakfast is very filling. Having free coffee available 24/7 is also a great bonus. I couldn’t find anything negative to mention. Of course, there may be areas to improve, but we enjoyed our stay so much that I didn’t even feel the need to be critical. We already know where we’ll stay on our next visit to Sarajevo. I suppose there’s no need to mention the name. 🙂 Best regards

• Alisa (10/5): Hier fühlt man sich sofort wie zu Hause: warm, freundlich, sauber und mit Frühstück für jeden Geschmack. - Ich wurde von einer freundlichen Rezeptionistin herzlich empfangen und fühlte mich im Hotel Old Sarajevo sofort wohl. Die Sauberkeit und der Komfort des Zimmers sowie die Atmosphäre und das ausgezeichnete Frühstück haben mich sehr überzeugt. Ich komme immer wieder gerne ins Hotel Old Sarajevo. Kein Kommentar
