The upper terrace offers comfortable seating and spectacular views, the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine. Located in the old part of town you are able to explore a bit of history and take advantage of exceptional restaurants. Hosts Jim and Isa provide easy check-in and orientation to their casa making sure your stay is memorable. Our only regret is our travel we didn’t stay for additional night!

• Josef (10/5): Super Unterkunft in Arcos de La Frontera - Hervorragende Lage der Habitación was das Ambiente und Aussicht auf die Umgebung betrifft. Das Hinkommen mit eigenem Auto ist auf Grund der engen, steilen Gassen fast nicht möglich. Die Informationen der Gastgeber bzgl. Parkplatz und Shuttlebus im Vorfeld der Ankunft sind aber sehr gut und damit kommt man problemlos ans Ziel. Isa und Jim sind sehr zuvorkommend und versorgen die Gäste mit vielen Infos.

• RON (10/5): A charming place in the middle of the historic centre. - A lovely place to stay. We had a charming room with a large spa bath. We had access to the roof terrace overlooking the town. The whole building is tastefully designed and a pleasure to stay there. We were given excellent travel details by Jim one of the hosts particularly as there was an Easter festival on so parking would be difficult. His recommendation got us to the best car park with a discount for staying there. A memorable day and well looked after. Thoroughly recommend this place in a central location.

Ils sont soucieux de notre confort et de notre séjour. Jim a créé un itinéraire pour qu'on visite Arcos de la Frontera. Le couple met également à notre disponibilité des recommandations pour les resto. L'emplacement est parfait pour visiter la ville. Nous avions une chambre avec salle de bain. Un petit frigo est dans la chambre avec bouteilles de vin disponible au coût de 10E. Il y a du thé disponible mais pas de café. La terrasse à 3 paliers est un coup de coeur. C'est un endroit merveilleux et serein. Le petit jardin à l'entrée est très Zen. Tout était parfait, la seul chose qui manquait c'est le café au lever et l'eau chaude pour la douche peut être longue à venir. mais quand on le sait on fait couler en avance.

• Frank (9/5): Zu Gast bei Freunden in grandioser Lage - Eine wirklich ungewöhnliche Unterkunft in einem historischen Haus, mitten in der historischen Altstadt. Die Besitzer geben sich die allergrößte Mühe, dass man einen netten Aufenthalt hat. Vom Dach des Hauses hat man eine spektakuläre Aussicht auf Arcos und die Umgebung. Man fühlt sich wie bei Freunden zu Gast. Wasser war nicht immer richtig warm. Und für Leute mit Gehbehinderung wahrscheinlich nicht das richtige wegen steiler Treppe. Man sollte auf jeden Fall den Hinweisen der Besitzer zur Anreise folgen und auf gar keinen Fall versuchen, mit dem Auto bis vor die Tür zu fahren, es sei denn, man kennt jeden Zentimeter seines Autos.

• Alba María (9/5): Fin de semana en Casa Campana - Cogimos el apartamento de 2 habitaciones. Estaba bonito decorado, estaba muy limpio, tiene juegos de mesa, lo esencial para pasar unos días, te dejan algunas cápsulas de café y una botella de agua, también en el baño te ponen gel, champú y discos desmaquillantes, por lo que considero que cuidan también los detalles, la calefacción está genial, el baño está muy bonito decorado. Y la terraza, aunque es compartida, es preciosa y con unas vistas increíbles. Admite mascotas y sin límite de peso lo que nos parece algo muy positivo a resaltar ya que en muchos sitios te ponen límite de 10 o 20kg. Nuestro perro es un pastor alemán de 50kg y entró perfectamente en el apartamento de dos habitaciones. Ellos te dejan una camita para el perro y un comedero, aunque en nuestro caso llevábamos nosotros los de nuestra mascota. Además nos ofrecieron agua y cerveza al llegar, elegimos agua, y le pusieron también agua a nuestra mascota. Te dan también una guía sobre qué ver en Arcos y como hacer el recorrido y te va explicando también todo lo que vas viendo, nosotras hicimos esa rutita que nos propusieron y la verdad que estuvo bastante bien y no es demasiado larga, lo ves todo y te explican algo sobre todo lo que vas viendo. Totalmente un acierto. Los propietarios además son muy amables y se ofrecen ante cualquier cosa que puedas necesitar y explicarte todo lo que necesites. La atención de 10. El piso tiene también buena iluminación tanto de fuera como de dentro, y la habitación principal es enorme. Las cuestas para llegar al apartamento y que no se pueda acceder en coche aunque sea solo para descargar el equipaje. Pero no es un fallo del alojamiento en si. Aunque si algo a tener en cuenta para programar el viaje. En este sentido, ellos te envían una guía de donde aparcar y como llegar con varias opciones. Lo cual está muy bien también. Nos comentaron que no se podía dejar el perro sólo en el apartamento, suponemos que debido a que nuestro perro es grande y a la entrada llegó un poco nervioso por el estrés del viaje. Pero realmente, siempre y cuando el dueño sea responsable y el perro esté educado, como es el caso del nuestro que está totalmente adiestrado y sabe comportarse y no destroza absolutamente nada ni da ruido de ladridos ni nada por el estilo, considero que si admiten mascotas no deberían supeditar el estar todo el tiempo con la mascota, ya que eso imposibilita que puedas por ejemplo salir a cenar o a comer a algún sitio o entrar en X monumentos. Si entendemos que no vas a dejarlo largas horas solo porque para eso no te lo llevas pero que si pasa algunos ratos solo, no pasa nada. O que se especifiquen esas condiciones antes de la reserva.

Preis/Leistung top. Kleines aber sehr feines Frühstück. Zimmer Picobello sauber und sehr schöne Innenausstattung in diesem geschichtsträchtigen Haus Nix ;-)

La ubicación de la casa es magnifica, a pesar de haber subido con las maletas la larga cuesta hasta ella, realmente merece la pena.

Das Besondere war jedoch die Terasse auf 3 Niveaus auf der man den Sonnenaufgang mit den Vögeln erleben konnte mit Weitblick über die einzigartige Landschaft. Der steile Aufstieg zur Unterkunft. Doch er hat sich gelohnt. Wir waren froh das Auto am Fuße des Berges, an einer nicht zahlungspflichtigen Straße geparkt gehabt zu haben. Die Bedienung in den Lokalen war sehr nett. Der Gastgeber hat einen hilfreichen Rundweg zusammengestellt. Enjoy!

• Cindy (10/5): - Chambre d'hôtes idéalement située dans le centre piétonnier d'Arcos. Nous avons apprécié prendre le petit déjeuner qui etait très bon sur le toit terrasse avec une belle vue sur le lac d'Arcos. Jim et Isa sont très accueillants.
