- Frank (8/5): - Das Hotel liegt schön gelegen und die Nutzung der Schlissgebäude hat Charme. Gutes Ziel um von dort aus die Umgebung zu erkunden, wenn man gut zu Fuß ist.

- Evgeniya (10/5): - The room was modern and clean, looked freshly renovated. I’ve missed shoehorn though. Breakfast was inclusive in room price and was indeed very good and varied but for cakes which weren’t sufficiently offered. All in all very good hotel for reasonable price.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - This hotel is good: picturesque, historical, good quality, but it wasn’t what I expected. It’s more like a conference centre and feels like a university campus. The cafeteria is very good, as is the pool and spa (although the Finnish sauna is being rebuilt). The room was well equipped and comfortable. However, what spoiled the stay for me was the noise. The corridors are not sound proofed, so the noise of people talking, bottles being cleared, vacuum cleaners, doors being unlocked, locked and closed carried into my room. This was made worse by house keeping twice trying to get into my room at 07:30! Parking is away from the rooms and reception. Walks to the main hotel amenities involves a series of steep steps. It is a castle after all, but anyone in poor health should avoid. Unfortunately I wouldn’t stay again simply because the noise pollution annoyed me.

Spacious single room w nice view, marvellous breakfast also offering lots of healthy items and until 11 am on week-ends. Spa area and pool were wonderful and staff was v attentive and kind. I will definitely return some day.

- Bianca (8/5): - Mooie locatie, fijn parkeren, kamer super netjes en schoon. Goed ontbijt, Jammer dat de sfeer van het Schloss niet was door gevoerd in het restaurant, receptje en kamers.
- Christian (10/5): Ja. Super - Sehr schöne Anlage, Outlet gut zu erreichen, Wellness Angebot ist gut, mit Außenbereich und Recht großem Schwimmbad. Einrichtung der Einzelzimmer "sehr 90er", dennoch sehr gepflegt. Staff ist Super, Frühstück großartig in sehr schönen Räumlichkeiten mit Panoramablick. Allgemein lädt die Anlage zum erforschen ein. Teils miss man viele Stufen erklimmen um an die Rezeption oder zum Frühstück zu gelangen, das ist aber der außergewöhnlichen Lage auf dem Hügel geschuldet. Klare Empfehlung und für mich eine der Top Adressen der Region. Falls es das noch gibt: 2008 haben wir sehr gut und verglichesweise günstig in einem dem Hotel angeschlossenem und von Azubis aus ganz Deutschland geführten Restaurant gegessen.

De plus les cloisons transparentes de la salle de bain ne sont pas idéales pour l’intimité. Il faut aussi savoir que le restaurant n’est pas situé dans le même bâtiment… en cas de pluie de nombreux parapluies sont mis à votre disposition
- Verified traveler (10/5): No unpleasant surprises - This is the first visit, but will not be the last. I hope to update the review in the future. I can honestly say I had no unpleasant surprises. I wish there was room service available. However, there was something pleasantly rewarding about walking to the restaurant.

- Verified traveler (2/5): niet voor particulieren,strak regime jeugdherberg - geen hotel voor particulieren, het zijn hoofdzakelijk seminars. strak regime, ontbijt tot 10.00 uur, als je zoals wij 10.01 bij je hotel staat, blijven de deuren gesloten, kun je niets meer doen in de kamer, alles is dan geblokkeerd.nog een wonder dat we uit de parkeergarage konden rijden. sávonds kun je gebruik maken van buffet, in een soort jeugdherberg achtig restaurant, mooi terras. ontbijt hetzelfde alsof je op kamp bent met dienblad loop je langs t buffet. slechte service, onpersoonlijk hotel. geen hotel om naar terug te gaan.

- Karen (10/5): Mooi hotel met verzorgde kamers - Reuze mooi hotel met alle comfort. Het ontbijt is lekker en uitgebreid. Het avondeten is in buffetvorm, maar valt een beetje tegen. Het hotel ligt in de hoogte en er moet veel geklommen worden om naar het restaurant te gaan. Spijtig is er in Montabaur niet zo veell te zien

Wir haben für einen privaten Kurzaufenthalt ein Zimmer mit großzügiger Terasse gehabt, Fast schon Penthouse. Frühstücksbuffet top, Spa sehr schön. Nix zu meckern. Achtung: für Menschen mit Bewegungseinschränkung problematisch bis unmöglich. Lage für Ausflüge und Wanderungen sehr geeignet.

- Hans (8/5): - Die Hotelzimmer liegen außerhalb der Burg. Das Frühstück wird innerhalb des Burggelände serviert. Der Weg zum Frühstück ist beschwerlich da man zur Burg hinauflaufen muss und das auf gepflasterten Kopfsteinpflaster.

- gast (8/5): Schönes Hotel für Aktive - Das Hotel ist sehr schön, jedoch in mehrere Gebäude aufgeteilt. Daher muss man vom Zimmer in ein andere Gebäude (Bergaufwärts) laufe zum Pool / Frühstück / Rezeption etc. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Frühstück reichhaltig mit viel Auswahl. Leider hat der Sonderwunsch mit der früher gebuchten Massage nicht funktioniert.

Friendly efficient staff and good value for money, Choice of buffet style food suited all preferences - however no small alternatives if requiring just a sandwich as it is fixed price - which of course gives great value for meals. Can highly recommend.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Comfortable and Quiet - Extremely comfortable room. The local area is very quiet but that is what we wanted for our last night of our trip. There are several restaurants within a few minutes walk. The breakfast was excellent. We only stayed one night so did not get a chance to try the spa facilities unfortunately.
- Brian (6/5): This is not an hotel. - Very institutional feeling about the place. Long walk to breakfast from my room. Bar and dining area felt like a canteen rather than a 4 star hotel. Arrived late and had to phone the hotel to find reception. Would not recommend it.
