Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This is a family run business, and nothing was too much trouble. The reception was excellent, as was the bar and dining room. A really lovely home from home atmosphere.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped.
I did have my car broken into whilst I was staying, that was nothing to do with the hotel, but just remember to remove all items of any value before you park up for the night. The hotel management could not apologise enough, but as I say it wasn't their fault.
- john (10/5): Superb - Fantastic welcome to this quaint hotel. Full of character... the hotel and staff
- Stephen (10/5): You must try this one. !!!!!!! - The welcome feeling at this hotel is fabulous and nothing is too much trouble for the very polite staff.
I actually left my coat there by mistake and it was posted back to me the very next day at no charge
fabulous customer service and an enchanting place to stay. The beds are supremely comfortable.
will definitely visit again.
- John (10/5): House in the country - Large Mansion type House.
Comfortable room with on suite.
Good restaurant, I had a fabulous steak for dinner and breakfast was good in a large breakfast room.
All staff were friendly, and attentive.
- Bryan (8/5): Business night out - I had an appointment nearby, The Pines was the most suitable. Check in was quick and easy, my bags carried to my room. Tea, coffee available, freezing cold outside, though the room was quite warm enough.
Good menu choice, good food, very pleasant staff.
Fruit juice, cereal, full English available, poached eggs, all freshly cooked.
I would stay again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable price and dinner excellent
- Verified traveler (8/5): Decent place to stay - Decent place to stay for the price, much better than a "budget" hotel.
- Samuel (10/5): Superb hotel with great food - Great food - brekky is super - best poached eggs ever. Super friendly staff
- Claire (10/5): A Wonderful business stay - A lovely home from home. James was a wonderful host, bar man, waiter and receptionist. Nothing was too much trouble
- James (8/5): Lovely hotel. Great staff. Slightly 'tired' - Lovely little hotel in a beautiful area just on the outskirts of slough. The staff were excellent and didn't complain even though I arrived very late. The general condition of the rooms is s little old but that wouldn't put me off staying there again
- David (8/5): Nice old school hotel - Very comfortable. Good quality hotel but room was a little rough around the edges for the price - needs refurbishment especially shower room.
- Ian (8/5): - Excellent hotel - but difficult to find - bathroom could do with being a little larger
