Breakfast was delicious and featured variety. The real reason to book a stay at Arkanchi is the staff. Man ist quasi mit dem Auto in die Sehenswürdigkeit reingefahren (Parken war kein Problem), Zimmer waren sehr sauber und wurden auch sehr sauber gehalten. Zimmer war gemütlich, Hotel verfügt auch über einen kleinen quasi Supermarkt für Getränke, wo man jederzeit sich was holen kann. Frühstück ist allerdings eine Katastrophe. Winzige Auswahl, Obst ausgetrocknet, Pfannenkuchen ohne Marmelade, für einen "guten" Kaffee soll man extra zahlen. Beim Hotel bin ich wirklich zufrieden, aber das Frühstück muss komplett überarbeitet werden. Daher liegt das Hotel "nur" bei einer Bewertung von 9.

- Evgeny (5/5): Стоимость отеля продиктована его отличной локацией. Цена номера "люкс" не соответствует наполнению. - Локация отеля очень удачная, в самом центре Хивы, внутри крепости Ичан Кала. Персонал отзывчивый, выполнили заселение в номер раньше времени заезда. Хороший и разнообразный завтрак, представленный как местной, так и европейской кухней. Полотенца и постельное белье свежие, новые, чистые. Не так давно был выполнен ремонт номеров, фотографии на этом сайте показывают номера в их предыдущем состоянии. WiFi работает хорошо по всей территории гостиницы. Есть возможность взять велосипеды напрокат. Заселялись в номер категории "люкс" по цене, сопоставимой со стоимостью хороших сетевых отелей Ташкента. Фактически пользовались только одной из двух комнат, т.к. в первой из мебели только диван, телевизор и тумба у входной двери. В ванной комнате на стене есть гель для душа и шампунь, посредственного качества, одноразовые гигиенические принадлежности или твердое мыло отсутствовали. В спальне на двухместной кровати было одно одеяло, разложенное поперек. Пришлось ночью просить второе одеяло, но оно было детского размера. В комнатах дефицит розеток - по одной с каждой стороны кровати в спальне, и одна в первой комнате. В номере есть чайник и комплиментарные чай, кофе и вода, но нет розетки, куда включается этот чайник. Также есть кофе-машина, но на двухместное размещение была выдана одна капсула, запрос второй был проигнорирован. В комнате есть телефон, но он не работает, нет инструкции по связи с ресепшен. По каждому вопросу требовалось личное посещение ресепшен.

There seems to be a renovation or remodeling underway, which might explain the strong smell of paint in the room. It's quite bothersome, and there wasn't much that could be done about it.

- Hirotaka (10/5): Excellent Location, Amazing Stay - The hotel is in a perfect location, with close access to all major attractions. The beautiful rooftop of the hotel can view the entire Khiva Old Town. There is a lot of choices for the breakfast. The front staffs are incredibly kind and helpful for us. As our room is on the ground floor, it does get slightly noisy at night if you are looking to sleep early.

You get a day ticket for all the sights in the city that you need to visit. Every attraction is a short walk from the hotel. It has a terrace for looking over the city at night. The reception organised all our transport to and from the airport. Everything for our trip went very smoothly. Lastly they serve an excellent breakfast We asked for a room in the ground floor. But we arrived earlier than the check in time and were given a room on the upper floor. This was not a problem because the hotel staff helped us get our bags up and down the stairs

Good size room and bathroom. Really nice view of the city from the hotel's rooftop, which also has a bar. I'd recommend seeing the sunset on the roof rather than paying to go up the city walls.

Buona la colazione. Aveva solo un problema: si avvertiva un odore di muffa un poco sgradevole. forse dovuto al fatto che il bagno non ha finestra e quindi poca areazione, ma trascurabile direi.

The beds were hard and no comfortable, they were making sound even if you only seat on them. They can do an investment to improve the rooms.

- Nicolas (8/5): La chambre n'est pas à la hauteur de l'accueil - Accueil exceptionnellement aimable avec un réceptionniste qui est venu lui-même guider notre voiture jusqu'à l'hôtel (l'entrée de la vieille ville est fermée à la circulation) et nous a ensuite réservé une table à La Terrassa, la perle de Khiva (restaurant toujours bondé). Ça c'est parfait et nous le remercions encore. Par ailleurs, habiter directement dans la vieille ville est un plaisir délicieux et évite les discussions sans fin avec les gens de l'entrée qui réclament un ticket (très cher car il comprend l'accès à tous les musées) même si c'est juste pour venir manger ou faire du shopping ... Hélas l'hébergement n'est pas à la hauteur de l'accueil ... La chambre est immense mais ne propose même pas d'endroit pour s'asseoir et discuter ou boire un verre. Il me semble qu'il n'y avait pas de frigo. Le petit déjeuner n'est vraiment pas terrible, même pas de machine à café, et servi dans un endroit assez moche, ce qui est d'autant plus dommage que les photos laissaient croire qu'il était servi sur un rooftop doté d'une vue exceptionnelle. Le rooftop existe bel et bien, mais il semble peu utilisé, et surtout pas pour le petit déjeuner. Il ne faudrait pas grand-chose pour améliorer sensiblement cet endroit.

Location assolutamente tranquilla e silenziosa, dopo le 21 non si sente più alcun rumore (perfetto per riposare dopo il turismo della giornata). Camera spaziosa con letti comodi e bagno pulito. Molto bene la colazione, varia e con molta scelta, viene servita al primo piano in un bel portico tipico.

Breakfast is good, though a bit simple, but the overall experience is fantastic. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to stay inside the old city.

La sua posizione è ottima, all’interno delle mura di Khiva, vicino alla porta ovest di Khiva e al Kalta Minor. L’hotel ha una buona struttura, dotata di tutti i servizi necessari e utili. Ottima la pulizia, buona la colazione, il personale è preparato e attento a tutte le richieste (tramite loro ho organizzato il transfer all’alba all’aeroporto di Urgench). La camera non ha troppi fronzoli, ma è comoda e silenziosa. Il rapporto costo/qualità è stato sicuramente soddisfacente. Nel complesso è stata una buona scelta.

They had water distributor (essential since we didn't find in Khiva supermarket selling a minimum 5l tank). WiFi was very weak, the lady at the breakfast buffet was a bit annoying. Seating at the terrace could be more led back.

- Shafique (8/5): - Very Nice and clean hotel right in the heart of Khiva. Very walkable and warm staff. Great breakfast with good options. But I wish they had coffee in the morning. The facility could use some upgrades. Overall a great place to stay if traveling alone or with family.

Ya que no hay bar en la azotea, estaría bien una máquina expendedora para poder tomarte algo viendo la puesta de sol, la noche o el amanecer
- KEIICHI (10/5): イチャンカラ内にあるホテル - 旧市街イチャンカラ内にあり、一時的な休憩もすぐ出来るし、とてもありがたいロケーションでした。また、ウォーターサーバーが置いてあり、大変重宝しました。
