- Scarlett (10/5): - My friends and I stayed at Krikitos Village Hotel on our recent visit to Ios. The hotel is located in great proximity to the Port and more importantly the main town, Chora. There is a bus stop right outside which takes you to Chora in 5 minutes (buses come every 15 minutes) otherwise it’s about a 15 minute walk uphill. The walk back from the main town however is 10 minutes downhill which is great! Chora has a great nightlife scene with lots of restaurant choices and bars. The hotel facilities are great, neither of the two pools were over crowded and the staff are lovely! Would stay again!

Great location, close to Yalos beach and to the bus stop, village of Chora is accessible either by walking or bus that goes every 20 minutes ( bus station is right at the hotel). Stunning views from breakfast! Nice and clean! I would give it a 10 out of 5! Great value!
- Ian (10/5): - We are very surprised that this hotel is only 3 star. Everything about it exceeds that. The staff, the room, the pool, the location. Everything was excellent. The friendly staff welcomed us with a voucher for a free cocktail by the pool. We were then showed to our room which was spotless. The shower room was bigger than any we have had in our travels through the Greek islands. The bed was soft just as we like it. I could go on, but basically it is the nicest hotel we have stayed in for the budget in our travels. If we had paid twice the rate I would still have been happy

Staff is very friendly, very informative and very accommodating to your needs. They even provide free welcome drink at their pool bar with reasonably priced food and drinks!

The pool is nice and they let us check in early once it became available. They even offered to keep our belongings there while we check out the town. Great place!

- Trinh (10/5): Best place we stayed on our Greece holiday - Excellent hotel, central location, 5-10 min walk from port if you come by ferry. Bus stop right outside - 2 euros a person one way - if you want to go to the beach or do not want to walk up the stairs nearby to go to Chora (was a hike up and up in scorching heat, not necessarily fun). We came early and room was not ready, but staff very friendly, professional, and especially helpful. They answered all our questions about restaurants, bus, when to leave in the morning for the next ferry. Their dinner rec was spot on. Soooooo good. One of the best we ate on our 2 week holiday. Room itself is excellent, very clean, open space, roomy. Fridge in room with a 1 liter complimentary water bottle. Would stay again. Definitely recommend.

Great room, amenities, distance from all necessary shops and the hotel is situated a few steps away from a bus stop too, so easy access to places further away like Mylopotas and Chora.

Located just beside start of path leading up to Chora ( with alternative of local bus stopping just in front of door every 15 minutes - EUR1.60). Nice and stylish hotel, reasonably priced. Bonus of welcome drink at pool bar. Our room was one of last available, so no view, just interior courtyard, but fine for one night.

Welcome cocktail on arrival at the beautiful (but a bit chilly) pool. Wish I never left!

The location is less than a ten minute walk from the ferry port and is roughly a fifteen minute walk from the main town (Ios Village/Chora) with a foot path right outside the front door! - ian (10/5): Ios Rules! - Lovely hotel, in great location from the port and old town, bus right outside. Great little touches in the room, fruit bowl and we got a welcome drink. Room was really nice set up and spacious, lovey terrace. Perfect place to stay on Ios. Only slightly annoying part is the pre check in online, it’s a bit of a faff but not really a big deal in the scheme of things. there is also a weird video to watch when you check in with all the rules and regulations it was like a construction site induction? don’t let that put you off through we found it quite funny? we had no problem with the rules ?? the staff were helpful and laid back.

- trent (2/5): Terrible and scamming service!!! - Our stay at kritiakas was met with a bitter end. From the beginning we were treated with poor service and lied to from checkin. Within 48hrs of our arrival, we were informed that the breakfast service was at no additional cost to us and was part of our booking. At the point of checkout, we were then confronted with a bill of over 150€... the staff claiming that we owed this and we were the ones at fault for not carefully knowing our own booking, when we were the ones that asked them and they would not own up to their fault in advising us wrong. After trying to discuss the problem, they threatened to call the police on us and blamed us for misunderstanding. (Eleni) was the front end staff we dealt with. We are extremely disappointed with the service and handled with a VERY unprofessional manner. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

The room was just refurnished and everything was perfect from the swimming pool sunset view to the super greek shampoo. They also gave us a small chocolate bar at check out! What a great service! Highly recommended

There are a lot of steps as the hotel is built on the side of the hill and not always someone to help you with your bags but otherwise very nice and with a nice breakfast.

- Maxine (10/5): Great hotel near the port - We stayed in Kritikas Village Hotel for 4 nights, it being our 1st visit to Ios. From arriving to departing the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was very spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed. Overall a lovely stay and we would definitely recommend and return.
- Marisol (6/5): Value Hotel in Good Location - The folks were kind and very polite. This hotel did not have any frills or wow factors, but did include some patio seating on the terrace. It was in a good location we could either walk down to the ferry port or go up the stairs to shops and restaurants. We rented an ATV at the port and visited Manganari Beach. The only con I had was the shower size. It is so small, and we kept running into the wall, faucet or curtain. I would stay here again because it was in walking distance of food and ferry port. If you want to party we recommend staying in Milopothas. This hotel is not in a party zone and you can hear the cars driving by since it’s on an intersection.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Ios for a day - Really nice hotel. Close to the port. Has outdoor gaming like large chess set, ping pong tables, two pools. Room we were in was okay. Beds were more like day beds, hard, really stiff and scratchy sheets.
- Cathy (6/5): - We liked the room upon first walking in, but once we got to the Bathroom it was a different story. The bathroom was dirty. The worst part about it was next to the toilet paper roll, there was a big clot of blood on the wall. The toilet seat wasn't clean either. They just threw some cleaning products in the bowl and labeled it that it was just cleaned. The hotel was very close to the port so that was a plus. They also had two very nice pools. One for swimming, and one for lounging (it was only two feet deep the most) with beds inside the water. Oh I almost forgot, the wifi was terrible!
- SIMON (10/5): Superb Hotel in beautiful ios - Great location within walking distance of port. Lovely welcome meeting at checkin detailing highlights of ios. All staff were happy and very helpful. We had room 12 which was close to the pool and had a superb view over the bay. Bus stop located just outside hotel for easy access to Chora. Steps to Chora next to hotel although we took bus up and steps back down. Will definitely return to ios and will stay here again. Excellent break, only wish we had stayed longer.

- amber (10/5): Friendly nice hotel - My partner and I stayed for 2 nights only during the quieter time so we didn't really get to see the island in full swing however the hotel staff were extremely helpful when we got there telling us about all the restaurants, bars, clubs and beaches to see. We also were upgraded upon arrival which was extremely nice too the room had a lovely view aswell.
- TellusCitizen (8/5): A village hotel with excellent service - For a 3 star rated location; beyond expations simply based on their customer service. It's genuine. May not be the grandest of facilities. Has the nesesseties and the view from the breakfast and pool area are beautiful. Will strongly recommend for any traveler during the off season in September.
