- Sarah (9/5): Relaxing weekend away in the hills - Great location, felt secluded in the countryside yet not far from Bran and other towns. Had dinner there for both nights we stayed, reasonable price and the food was really good. Made use of the jacuzzi twice, which you had to book in to make it private. Staff were very friendly. One set of our pillows was uncomfortable, and our beds were two singles put together so there was a clear mark in between. We shared a duvet that barely covered us because it was not big enough for the two beds together. There wasn’t much sound proofing, we did hear the barks of another guests dog and the people next to us were very loud. Bring earplugs.

- Catherine (9/5): Lovely view with exceptional service and food nearby mountain hiking destinations - The staff were exceptionally welcoming; Surash in particular. We were also impressed by the quality of food - it was wonderful to find an assortment of deliciously prepared vegetarian food. The warm chickpea and pumpkin salad was exceptional and my husband loved the panko fried chicken schnitzel. Breakfast also was varied and delicious. I also appreciated that they had caffeine-free coffee and lactose-free milk. The room was basic but comfortable and the view of the mountainside was gorgeous. We also enjoyed the sauna. The hotel was located in a beautiful area of rolling hills/mountains and less than 30 minute drive from the hike to Cabana Curmătura. We selected this location because we were interested in the outdoor hot tub but unfortunately the tub was not hot… it was warm but too cold to warrant remaining outside. We hope the establishment will find a way to improve the flow of hot water to the tub as the water flowing in was cool - they seem to need a larger hot water heater to compete with the colder temperatures. It would have been nice also if the area downstairs was warm and offered an environment to relax after enjoying the spa services. Also, we suggest that the wood piled in the former fireplace be removed or cleaned regularly as it was quite dusty.

Peisajul si este foarte frumos, cabana este bine amplasata si are si parcare, cabana este ok, iar personalul a fost amabil si am apreciat acest lucru. Pe durata celor trei zile nu s-a făcut deloc curățenie în cameră. Nu era necesară neapărat schimbarea prosoapelor, însă un minim de întreținere :aspirat, șters praful, igienizat ar fi fost binevenit. De asemenea, nu am înțeles de ce șemineul nu a fost aprins deloc, mai ales în cele trei seri petrecute acolo, inclusiv de 1 Decembrie. În două seri am și solicitat acest lucru, însă nu s-a putut rezolva, ceea ce a fost dezamăgitor având în vedere atmosfera pe care o promite locația. În ceea ce privește micul dejun și restaurantul, opțiunile au fost limitate, iar raportul calitate–preț nu a fost tocmai potrivit. 98 lei un gulaș….

I really wanted to reconnect deeply with my inner organic rhythm - no phone calls, no internet. Just pure being. Akasha was definitely the perfect choice. It's the perfect place to relax, retreat, reconnect with yourself, and with nature. It has everything you need to make your stay perfect: exquisite staff, harmonious cosy house and beautiful rooms, good bed for good rest, relaxing scenery, a great amount of trails to walk nearby; massage, sauna, outdoors jacuzzi, yoga classes, meditation room, really good food. It's practically the perfect place. I am picky, and there is always something that is off in such places. Not here. I loved everything about it. It's obvious they put a lot of heart in organising this place to make you feel truly welcomed and to give you everything you need to relax and connect deeply. Best place I've ever been. The 2 mountain chains this village is placed between create a surreal breathtaking experience every day. Thank you, guys, for a perfect stay!

- Dana (7/5): - Very nice staff. They were wonderful and helped us as much as possible. Easy, free parking Really comfy beds. The rooms were starting to be in a state of disrepair. The receiver was stuck with tape on the back of the tv, and it fell 2 nights in a row. The wall socket was not well fixed in the wall (this was remedied quickly after notifying the staff) There is wifi, but slow. Breakfast was a bit underwhelming. The food was overpriced.

- Madalina (3/5): Nu recomand! - -Micul dejun relativ ok. Servirea lentă. Camerele nu au AC, doar câte un ventilator. Dacă ai cameră cu vedere la munte, sunt orientate spre apus și de la prânz până seara îți bate soarele în cameră și se face căldură insuportabilă. Vrei să ții fereastra deschisă, dar îți intră mirosul de la bucătărie. Închizi fereastra, leșini de căldură. Spa-ul nu e spa. Maseuza vine doar la programare iar camera de masaj e ceva obscur la subsol. Prețurile la restaurant sunt foarte mari, calitatea preparatelor scăzută.

- Claire (9/5): A perfect place to enjoy the peace and beauty of this beautiful corner of the world - Location, location, location! Buffet meals were excellent and varied. Views from the terrace are stunning. I liked the fact that you could choose to sign up for as many or as few of the yoga sessions as you chose (or none at all). Sessions in the hot tub & sauna were easy to arrange on a daily basis. The communal dining and sitting area led to a relaxed, homely atmosphere and it was easy to choose between sitting alone as a couple or joining up to eat with other guests. Massages were not available when we were there. Some of the guests were particularly disappointed about this. The hot tub is set up in such a way that when you are sitting in it the best view is blocked by the cover - that could be really easily rectified!

The location is absolutely perfect, with mountain views and green that fills your heart. We even spotted some deers while having breakfast on the terrace. Really good food,different every evening and awesome breakfast - a lot of options for vegetarians. We also enjoyed the sauna and sun bathing on the terrace,but my favourite activity must have been reading on the terrace. They have a really well packed library. The staff is nice and the room and all surroundings clean all the time. We also enjoyed the ambient music a lot and the fact that it is really tranquil.

Everything home made and very tasty. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is nothing negative to say. Everything was peefect.

- Alexandra (10/5): True oasis - The location is incredibly peaceful and green, with an immense yard, calm interior spaces, yoga sessions available daily with an instructor on site, healthy and delicious food, nothing compared to the usual hotel offerings. The dining area feels more like a family home. Ideal for working away from the office, particularly for creatives, but not only.

- Alina (10/5): Peaceful with a great view - The position and the view to the mountains are the best perks for us here. Very close to trails in Pitra Craiului. The house is beautifully decorated and the hosts are welcoming. Great food but be prepared for mostly (but not exclusively) vegetarian dishes. Bit of bad smell coming from the bathroom, but really nothing you can’t live with.
- Andreea (10/5): The perfect place to disconnect - It’s the perfect location to disconnect for a few days. Take advantage of the perfect location and do some hikes along the villages around and enjoy the evening at the spa or having a yoga class.
