• Alexandra (2/5): Dirty, cobweb infested room and greedy owners - To our shock the room was dirty and full of cobwebs and spider webs. The room looked like it had not been dusted in months. The surfaces were dirty and blackened our disinfectant wipes. There were dead bugs trapped inside window screens and we found a brown spider crawling around. The bed was very uncomfortable and felt like it had been extremely over used. We contacted manager about our complaints. The manager was very friendly and refunded us our first night of a 2 night stay. But after talking with the owners she said they were not able to give us a full refund even though we spent about 30 mins in the room and left after seeing the condition of it, which is extremely disappointing. If you cant keep a good standard for your guests and have them check in to a clean and sanitized room, how can you possibly gauge them for an extra night when we spent no time there as a result of your negligence? The whole experience was extremely disappointing and we ended up having to pack everything back up and pay for another hotel down the road for our stay in Escalante. Stay clear.

It was a cozy & clean cabin that could sleep up to 5 people. There were a couple of fruit cups & 2 wedges of quiche in the fridge for breakfast there for us. The bed was comfortable. The heater worked. The place had great amenities & was nicely decorated.

• K (8/5): Simple Comfortable Stay - The room was great. Comfortable and very clean. Exactly what we needed for one night after a long day of hiking. There was a slight communication issue with trying to get a hold of anyone after hours, but it all worked out and they are working to correct that.

• KATRINA (10/5): - Couldn't have booked a better lodging option! It first started when I received a text a few days prior to arrival asking how many in our part wanted coffee vs juice. We arrived extremely late into the evening, the staff reached out to me via text earlier in the day and let me know our door code and that our room details would be taped to the office door as we would be late. We arrived to an adorable basket of breakfast options. The cabin was cozy and clean and perfect for our little group. The next morning the staff was extremely helpful and offered up advice on some hikes we had planned. While our stay was only for one night it was amazing.

The functionality of the room would be greatly improved with a nightstand and a dresser as well as some hangers in the small closet space. From the photos we were unable to tell that it was set up as a tiny home with an almost unusable half sink in the bathroom and again no place to set anything. A small but full-sized sink and extra shelving would improve this situation.

Parking is on site and had a fire pit outside the cabin. It was too cold for an outside fire since it’d just snowed but would be lovely another time with better weather. Inside was nice and warm. The beds were comfy and the little breakfast snacks were delicious!! I would definitely stay here again.

It's a beautifully decorated and ample space and was seriously sparkling clean. One thing I especially loved about the unit were the many windows that which allowed the casita to be illuminated beautiful natural sunlight. The manager was friendly and allowed us to check in early without any problems or hassles. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit the Escalante area.

However, the WiFi was good and after a day full of hiking there might not be a need for TV. We were given some treats upon check-in, which was a nice bonus. I would try this place again.

The atmosphere was very peaceful. Small town, which lacks restaurant choices. Definitely will cone stay here again.

Said 1 queen, 1 double, and 1 tiwn bunk bed BUT what they meant was a bunk bed with a double on the bottom. our family of 5 had 1 of us sleeping on the floor because of that error in description. The city it is located in is very tiny but a good choice if you are passing through, it has all the things you might need.

The couple that owns and operates the RV park clearly takes pride in their work and offers excellent service as well as thoughtful notes on the surrounding area. We weren't able to take advantage of the fire pit or picnic table, but we did enjoy some time on the glider in the morning while we drank our coffee. We're looking forward to coming back to Escalante.

The cabin was very cosy and clean and equip with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker & tv. The staff were very friendly and helpful and gave useful firsthand advice of trekking routes in the local area. The free breakfast basket was a lovely and unexpected touch. Location wise, the cabins are situated on the edge of town opposite the Escalante area visitor centre and is easy walking distance to a number of restaurants and amenities. A cool little town with some good outdoors shops and lovely delis / cafes. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

• James (10/5): Quaint hilltop retreat - This was a quaint hilltop cabin with modern touches! When we check in, we got a breakfast basket with home baked goodies which were out of this world. I would highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Escalante, Utah.
