Er is een gemeenschappelijke ruimte, waar je kan zitten en eten en gebruik kan maken van de voorzieningen (koffie/thee/servies, etc.). Onze kamer was vrij verouderd en was niet zo schoon. Je kon de veren in het bed voelen, waardoor het bed niet erg lekker lag.

• Francesca (7/5): Quick stay - Loved the location and concept. Great having kitchen facilities. Great price. The whole registration process felt a bit odd and inhospitable. When we got there reception was lovely but in the lead up we were apprehensive.Wasn't clear when we could check in. Was basic/spartan in some areas (towels/bedding/decor) then high end with water cooler, premium tea/coffee and slippers. All just felt a little odd. Needed more intensive cleaning, extractor fan dirty and dust/fluff/hair in drawers. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again, I think knowing better how things work we'd enjoy it more.

• Neil (9/5): A great place to explore Ludlow and its history, whilst being great value. - Excellent for exploring your wonderfultown and castle. Parking and walking made easy. Everyone friendly, and overall fantastic value. Being 6ft 3in I found thebed a trifle small.

Cyclists and pedestrians be careful on the road outside it's an unlikely looking local race track, cars accelerated hard up the hill and down it!!

I liked the kitchen area (great idea) I think the lounge area could be more cosy but again it was nice to have an area to sit and relax rather than in the your room. Staff were friendly and it was very quiet. The mattresses, they were very uncomfortable. Need replacing.

• Anj (9/5): Lovely hostel would definitely come back again. - They provided eco products, provided towels, lots of tea bags, coffee, biscuits etc. lovely little garden if u wanted to sit outside. Great kitchen. Overall fantastic place. Also they had free parking. I was looking forward having breakfast at the Greek place next door to the hostel unfortunately closed on the Sunday.

• christine (5/5): Great location and a good car park. - The location is really good, a 10 minute walk into the centre of town, with a free large car park. The check in was good and easy to notify the reception. Our room was very small, as were our beds. There was no heating on , so had to go looking for the thermostat to get some heat into the room. The tiny television in our room, didn’t work either. We had to leave a day early due to a family issue.
• David (10/5): - The Mascall Centre is a great find. Clean, well furnished, free parking which is a bonus in Ludlow and right near the center of Town. Will certainly look to book again. And, did I mention how cheap it is, wow, a steal Nothing to not kike

Some aspects of the room could be improved, including the cleanliness under the bed (there must have been a year’s worth of dust and dirt, used cotton bud..). The mattress could also do with replacing.

• Wei (5/5): No heating in a cold night. - Location is excellent, 5 minutes walk to town centre. Free parking on site, and can leave the car there until late of the check-out day. Shared kitchen with good facilities. Clean. Quiet. No heating. Bed can be a bit more supportive. Stayed in the Perry room, the radiators didn't work. Phoned the out-off time number, was told to turn up the thermostat to the max in the corridor which I did. The thermostats on the radiators were on max also. But no heating at all with outside temperature at about 6 oC. Felt chilly during the night. Then the room got very hot at about 7am (the heating became on, and because the thermostats were all on the max). From chill to hot in a short period (room is very small, it took no time to heat up) made me so uncomfortable. Told the reception staff about the whole experience in the morning. Her response was that as if I have done something wrong (e.g. did you turn the thermostat up?), no sympathy or apology. I had to repeat my experience twice till she agreed to check the heating system. Not a very nice experience.

I’d charged my car up at the main car park in town, popped back to collect my bags in the morning and got a £100 fine! We stopped for 34 minutes, dropped off the keys etc and collected bags. Dreadful behaviour! Avoid.
• Angie (10/5): - Very conveniently located for all ludlow has to offer with excellent communal kitchen facilities. Bedroom was simple but good value and just what we needed. We were shown cupboards where you could help yourself to extra towels or toilet rolls. Tea coffee facilities nice plus hot chocolate. Free parking and a greek restaurant/cafe right next door. We could not fault a thing - thankyou.
