• Steve (10/5): Fantastic hotel with beautiful views . - The hotel is situated in a beautiful area with fabulous views to Mediterranean Sea. The hotel is extremely comfortable and the breakfast is just amazing. Choice of fresh fruits each morning is exceptional. We didn't want to leave. The only thing we would have wanted was a shower mat for the bath as it was slippery. Everything else was fabulous.

Номер оказался невероятно просторным, с небольшой дополнительной комнатой, о которой мы даже не знали заранее — было очень приятно удивлены! Ванная комната большая, с душем и ванной, отличная косметика L’Occitane. Отдельное удовольствие — ресторан: ужин был просто великолепным, а завтрак порадовал разнообразием блюд и свежестью продуктов. Зона с бассейном заслуживает особой похвалы: вода тёплая, что особенно приятно в низкий сезон. Персонала в отеле много, все приветливые и всегда готовы помочь. Хочу выразить отдельную благодарность за отзывчивость и коммуникацию после отъезда: я забыла очки в такси, и отель сделал всё возможное, чтобы помочь мне их вернуть. Это было очень ценно! Наш отдых был замечательным — именно таким, после которого хочется вернуться снова незначительный момент: в номере на предпоследнем этаже (у нас был №25) вечером было слышно, как ходят над нами люди. Тем, кто чувствителен к звукам, можно уточнить этот момент при бронировании.

We loved the large heated outdoor pool Having eaten a large breakfast and looking forward to our evening meal it would have been nice just to have had a bar snack at lunch rather than having to return to the dining room.

• Rebecca (10/5): Delightful hotel, very quiet and comfortable. Amazing location - Fantastic quiet room, with large balcony. The pool area was great and the breakfast was excellent, with a huge selection of food and drinks. The view from almost everywhere in the hotel is incredible. Staff were very friendly and helpful. If I had to complain about anything, the Bathroom was big and very clean, but had very few hooks. Difficult to hang up bath towels and swimming costumes, as there wasn’t anywhere on the balcony to hang swimming stuff. Very minor issue!

• Simon (8/5): Lovely location with comfortable room and spectacular view with excellent pool and beach. - The view was fabulous and breakfast specatcular. We rented a little scooter from Dolce Scooters in Begur for the week which was excellent and enabled us to eat at the many great, significantly cheaper restaurants. The hotel facilities, particlarly the pool were fabulous with a lovely beach too. Following a very poor first night having been given a terrible room far away from the main hotel with leaking sewage (!), we were given a decent room for the remainder of the holiday - as we had previously requested. Service on the terrace and by the pool is erratic. Front of desk staff not the most helpful either. We had dinner just once which was ridiculously expensive for what it was, mediocre. Poor service and certainly not worth €160 for 2 of us which was for 2 courses, one glass of Cava and a beer. The lunch - same experience. This hotel knows its a monopoly and being isolated, seem to get away with knowing they can charge what they want. Without a vehicle you are stuck, being 5km from Begur or an hour’s walk. The gym is old with outdated equipment.

• Raymond (10/5): A hidden gem along the Costa Bravo coast which seems to have a lot of repeat clientele for obvious reasons - Its location and staff Old Fashioned great hospitality and an excellent restaurant I know it was late in the season end of Sept start of October but we thought the garden terrace and plant beds could have been better maintained especially the area above the pool The pool bar closing at 515/530 pm most days a bit early

• Jane (9/5): Classy and beautifully located hotel. Hotel restaurant was very poor. - The views, the breakfast was lovely and the room was spacious. The Housekeeping staff were lovely, smiling and friendly. Had a very poor meal at the restaurant, it was expensive and not the standard you expect from such a hotel. We ate out all other days which is a much better option. The hotel staff were sometimes surly and the service at the hotel bar was not good.

• Debrah (9/5): Great place to experience the charm of Costa Brava - The location and views of Aigua Blava from the property are fabulous. Property has a lot of character!The outdoor terrace and indoor lounge are great place to sit, relax, enjoy views or something to eat /drink. Pretty walks to nearby coves. Food and service at restaurant was excellent and hotel staff were v helpful organising boat trip to caves and beaches. We had 2 rooms and our stay was v enjoyable- even in autumn. There’s a lot of stairs throughout property and inside too and some are quite dangerous. There’s an Odor in some rooms- staff helpful with deodoriser but it returns.. they should leave it in the rooms! Omelettes or poached eggs can be made fresh to order but fried eggs are in the buffet and bit ordinary.

• Christopher (10/5): A SIMPLY EXCELLENT STAY - Again, Hotel Aigua Blave was excellent. This was a repeat and probably the best visit we have had. The weather was kind and we could swim from the beach below the hotel, and the swimming pool is now heated and outstanding. All staff we interacted with, without exception were very helpful and attentive. The food in the restaurant (we had dinner and breakfast) was very good, with the terrace restaurant being a great place to eat given the outstanding vistas. A simply excellent short stay. Our only comment is that although there is an ironing service, the hotel, when asked, did not provide an iron, which would have been much more convenient to quickly freshen up a blouse or shirt.

It had plenty of activities to do on the property (beach, pool, tennis etc) but it was also an easy drive to town. The restaurant was very good and the included breakfast was fantastic. I would highly recommend it.

• Gerald (6/5): - We booked two Garden View rooms back in April 2025, however when we checked in we were told the ‘garden view’ rooms were located in an annexe, 300 metres on a steep incline from the main hotel ! The rooms were on the 3rd floor and there was no lift !! Instead of a ‘garden view’ our rooms overlooked a car park ! Why were we not informed of this at the time of booking ? The rooms were totally unacceptable and fortunately the hotel managed to give us alternative accommodation in an apartment, at an extra 50 euros per night.

• Julien (9/5): Lovely hotel in delightful setting with welcoming, kind and attentive staff. - The hotel is spread over quite a large area on many different levels and outlooks...our lovely & comfortable bedroom room had a fabulous ensuite & had the best shower I'd ever come across, not forgetting a good size balcony with a lovely view out over a small inlet and beach. Breakfast was a buffet style with lots of good choices available, big plus for us was the fabulous machine that made terrific fresh orange juice. Restaurant has a lovely aspect looking out over the coastline. Nothing really other than parking upon arrival wasn't easy but guess it was lunch time so Restaurant was busy hence little space
• gregg (10/5): - Room was nice. Cleanliness 9/10. Food was variable. Incredible breakfast with anything you could imagine. Some dinners were great; others not so great. I asked for no extra salt in the Paella, and another evening, no extra salt in the pasta. Both were so salty that nobody at our table of 4 would eat them. Nevertheless, it's a beautiful hotel with great staff and an incredible setting. The water is beautiful. Beaches are small but there are larger beaches nearby. Would stay again.
• CHARLES (5/5): Pleasant but prefer a smaller hotel with a more personal touch. - Lovely location within sheltered coves. Almost private beach. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. Balcony was a great feature with fantastic views. Hotel felt a little dated in decor. Lots of area were plain tiled with no thought of adding planting. Lots of stairs within hotel and no way of accessing restaurant or reception from our room without going outside even though in the same building. It seems as though lots of compromises were accepted when extending the premises.

Le bruit des sanitaires ( douche, WC et canalisations ) étaient vraiment très importants au point de nous réveiller (proximité que l’on n’attend pas d’un hôtel de cette classe). Vraiment dommage car tout le reste était parfait.Mais cela ne concernait peut être que notre chambre…. (située au rez de chaussée,§n° 89)

• Guest (4/5): Je n'y reviendrais pas ! Très décevant ! Notamment vu le prix ! - Le cadre était très bien, la vue sur la mer aussi, le balcon pour se poser avec le store était très approprié. Le BRUIT !!! La terrasse du restaurant était au dessus de notre chambre donc bruyant jusqu'à 1h du matin et à partir de 6h30 le lendemain (les tables qui ne sont pas soulevées....) Les personnes se baignant à 2h du matin en criant, ça résonne énormément. Les voisins de chambre : bébés qui pleurent la nuit, adultes qui boivent sur leur terrasse en étant bruyant..... On nous a abîmé notre voiture, de toute façon le parking est inefficace, trop petit pour le lieu et pas du tout adapté.... J'ai fait une manucure, hors de prix, et ongles se cassent.... très mécontente.... L'emplacement, à part l'hôtel il n'y a rien aux environs, obliger de prendre la voiture à chaque fois.....

• Yasser (8/5): Perfect Sea Getaway - The views were marvelous. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast options were great. It takes 25 minutes walking to get to the Aigua Blava beach. The cala that’s directly near the hotel is tiny.

The pool bar being open and more choice of lunchtime food. However I do understand that September is end of season for some hotels in this area

The sea water wasn’t as clear as the pictures but not terrible. Staff was exceptional and very friendly. The ocean view from the room is an idea to be considered for who stays here because it is magical!

• Déborah (10/5): Cadre splendide et personnel de l'hôtel au toppppp BRAVO !!! - Le cadre idyllique et magnifiquement splendide. Le personnel était très bienveillant efficace et très disponible. Bravo à l'ensemble du personnel. Sourire sur chacun et chacunes des équipes. Très très appréciable. Le petit déjeuner était très très varié beaucoup de choix pour tout horizon de la clientèle. A la hauteur du tarif. Les plats du dîner ne sont pas très subtiles et assez onéreux pour ce qui était proposé à la carte et dans l'assiette. Un petit peu trop salé pour certains.

• Falcopower (9/5): Un hotel de 4* con servicio y vocacion de 5* en un entorno de lujo - El hotel está en un emplazamiento privilegiado de la costa brava con unas vistas y acceso a playas y medio natural de una increible belleza. El hotel tiene unos años, pero el estado de conservación és muy bueno, con una limpiza impecable. El trato de todo el persona és exquisito y muy atento, pensando siempre en el cliente. La carta para comida y cena és de una gran calidad y variedad. El desayuno continental és de una gran calidad. Tanto zumos naturales, bollería, pan, embutidos, tortillas, bacon, café y leches de todo tipo, etc.. En nuestro caso teniamos una reserva de 4 dias. Sobrevino mal tiempo que o permetía disfrutar de playa, piscina, etc.. y solicitamos poder dejar la habitación. Nos aceptaron sin cargo alguno, sin imponer pagar la reserva íntegra y disfrutarlo después. Un acto que nos ganó como clientes que volveran para seguir disfrutando de sus servicios. Tiene párquing amplio para coche en el mismo hotel. Servicio de toallas de piscina. Agua y infusiones de cortesía diario en la habitación. Solo que no hay ascensores para ninguno de los dos edificios. El hotel tiene un edificio principal y después tiene otro bastante apartado que obliga a andar. A nosotros nos colocaron en este edificio de dos plantas (sin ascensor). Cuando escoges el hotel quieres o piensas que estarás en el edificio principal y no te informan que será este otro apartado.

• elizabeth (10/5): - Been coming to the Aiguablava hotel for 30 years - we love that the staff are soo friendly and like a big family. The hotel has recently had an upgrade with the wow factor. Perfect location to walk to the aiguablava beach or by a quick boat transfer from the port de fornells a 2 minute walk down from the hotel. Plenty of parking. Hotel rooms are fresh and very comfortable. Updated gym and tennis court. 10/10 for a perfect relaxing holiday. A secret gem to visit.
