Guest Reviews
- enrique (2/5): - The A/c was not cooling well, the floor mats were not clean, and the room overall was not clean
- Jessica (2/5): - I made a reservation and they called me to cancel it out of the blue, with no formality. They didn't care that I wouldn't have a hotel. They called me at the last minute to tell me there were no rooms available. Even though the reservation was made, it was completely informal
- Eigla (2/5): - The assigned room had inhabitable conditions to rest with my family. My daughter had an episode of asthma because of a very strong mold odor. The walls of the building were black because of mold. The building was solitary. When I went to leave the room key the security man Robinson told me that I could leave the keys and gave me a list of hotels near because of the situation,he knew about that building. He told me the receptionist told him that the building had a huge problem. I solicited a total refund, because i left the key card and left the same day, but the receptionist told me that i had to send an email to the manager. i hope someone answers soon and the total refund.
- Stacy (10/5): - Was a really nice trip. hotel was very clean and staff always very professional. Will stay again.
- MAKAYLA (10/5): - Awesome
- Barbara (8/5): - Nice clean room on a lake. Tiki bar and great pool! Would go again!
- Tammy (4/5): - The rooms were nice and clean but did not care for that part of town.
- Dashay (10/5): - Rooms were nice and spacious. Would come again
- Mark (4/5): - Very noisy ac unit - loud and rattley. Horrible bed, dismal room, cracked floor tile, grungy grout in bathroom. Worn out 10 years ago.
- Sarah (4/5): - Room smelled. No wake up call. Pool closed. Roach in bathtub
- Nicolas (10/5): - wonderful staff, very good value for price paid
- Damaris (10/5): - Service great
- Vickie (10/5): - Very clean, very comfortable bed, awesome people and the lake view was very enjoyable.
- Barbara (10/5): - Large comfy rooms!
- Jonathan (10/5): Clean, affordable, great AC. - Staff friendly. Rooms clean. AC worked great. Ice machine had a giant water filter on it. Very affordable prices. Convenient to Wellington area. Will be a repeat customer.
- Frank (10/5): - Great
- Rigoberto (8/5): - Bueno
- martin (8/5): - Didnt take cash
- David (8/5): - It was an older resort yet our room was squeaky clean, quiet and was a very nice stay on a budget. We had a living room, kitchenette (no stove) and a dbl bed room. Had a pantry, medicine cabinet two closets in the bedroom and a balcony on a pond. Pool area was a little u kept but had nice bathrooms with a dbl shower, a tiki bar and a restaurant.
- John (6/5): - Bed wasn't very comfortable and the AC barely kept the room comfortable
- Thomas (6/5): - The room and bathroom had a weird odor. We were only there to sleep but it was not the best. Location is the only real thing that I can compliment this place.
- Sherry (8/5): - We were in town for a concert at the iThink Amphitheater, which is only about 3 miles down the road. We just needed a place to sleep and shower in the morning and it was perfect for the price! I was a little afraid booking it, because it wasn’t one of the major chains that we are used to staying at. Although the room was a little dated, the area felt very safe and the staff was friendly. We did not get to use it, but the pool looked very nice.
- Rozanne (10/5): - Needs update bit the rooms are extremely clean. We loved the location and accesibility. Mear everything in the area. Will stay again for sure
- Beatriz (2/5): - I soon I went in with family the room was smelling at mold and really nasty and the drawers had mold on it , I call front desk to let them no that I was not gonna stay and security answer and he goes oh well so I left the hotel and no one call
- Michelle (10/5): Grear place to stay - Great choice for my first time down to Royal Palms. Centrally located to everything I needed to access. Will definitely go back and stay again.
- Saul (10/5): - Very nice quiet place. Staff was very helpful!
- Maria Elena (10/5): - Me gusto la atencion en el Fronde y del personal en general ,limpio y tranquilo.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Older hotel. Midrange. Prefer something nicer, but would stay there again.
- Shelby (2/5): - The front desk did a good job to get us in a new room after our experience but this place is disgusting. Won’t stay here again.
- Victor (10/5): - Location, easy access!
- Maria Elena (10/5): - Es buena y la atencion al Cliente es excellent y su entorno es muy bonito , limpieza y jardines , pool y lago .
- Cheila (10/5): - Nice staff and service
- Yaimara (2/5): - The room was dirty!! I even went to Walmart to buy a set of sheets. I will not recommend
- Carl (6/5): - It’s ok
- scott (10/5): - I like the pool and the room was very clean. I also like it was quiet and safe
- Christine (6/5): Nasty in several ways - Imagine our surprise ,when we opened the dresser drawers to find a pitable dvd player and 5porn dvds, incluing gang bamging white girl, wow,it had been legt by previous guest EWE..
- James (10/5): - have stayed there many times, always nice
- Armando (10/5): - Great!
- Ernesto (6/5): - W
- john (10/5): - shopping
- Chelsea (4/5): - This place looks way better in photos than in person. We booked it due to the reviews and photos. The place is kind of ran down. The room smelled of mold. The room also had spilled liquids beside/ under one of the beds, so it wasn’t very clean. One positive was the location.
- Derrick (10/5): - Great stay
- Karel (8/5): - A nice place, affordable, the rooms have some issues with lights but everything else good, the staff very nice and the area very quiet, recommended
- Sean (10/5): - Nice and quiet!
- Stephanie (2/5): NO SERVICE ANIMALS?!? - They denied my service animal based on a “no pet” policy!?
- David (10/5): - Yes
- Jennifer (6/5): - There was strange eldely man just hangout in his car the whole afternoon then again in the morning. Would have car on with a motorcycle on parked next to him the whole day. Parked in our build that we stayed at. Felt uncomfortable walking out.
- Tiana (4/5): - We picked this location based on being close to the fairgrounds for a special event. I would like to say first the staff was extremely professional, and they were very nice! BUT…. The first room we were given had an infestation of bugs, poop droppings, and what appeared to be bed bugs. The window was also unsecured and would not lock. It was broke open. Pictures were taken and notified the front desk. We were moved to room 2 which now getting back late Friday night… found the ac was broken. Sleeping all night in hot conditions. We were finally moved to room 3 which had no issues for our final night. This place is musty and could use a renovation. Again, the staff was nice and helpful.
- Joyce (8/5): - Staff friendly and responsive
- Chelsea (4/5): - It was okay. The staff is nice and friendly but the room was pretty dirty and we saw a roach in our room.
- Hannah (6/5): - It is definitely old and a little run down! Super convenient for what our trip to the ithink amphitheater!! Staff members were nice!
- Verified traveler (4/5): - I booked room for 3 adults with 2 beds and had my receipt to prove this. When we entered the room it was small with only one bed. I went to front desk and was told they were full, even though the parking lot was empty. Ultimately they did end up giving me the room I booked. Bit of a hassle, not really that much of an issue with this hotel, only stayed one night, I may stay there again, but will NEVER again make a reservation using hotels.com.
- ddntn2 (8/5): Hidden gem for the price. - We were pleasantly surprised. After reading some reviews we were wary. But we were happy with the room. Nothing fancy. But the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Very quiet. Grounds are well manicured. We would definitely stay here again.
- Amarilys (8/5): - It was in the center and have assess to many stores.
- Jennifer (4/5): - Old and run down. Smelled like mildew
- Ronald (8/5): - Good place
- Vanessa (10/5): - Good job
- ARNAB (8/5): - It is clean. Pool is good and we’ll maintained. Only problem I had is that housekeeping responded very late to my room cleaning request.
- Christopher M (10/5): - Nice big room extremely clean for a motel bed was a little soft for me. Beautiful big swimming pool. Restaurant and Tiki bar on site.
- Yakelyn (10/5): - Good
- jameson (10/5): - Was perfect love that place!!
- Michael (6/5): - I didn’t like the way the room was dirty.
- Jose (4/5): - If youre on a fixed budget then I would rent a room here. But if you want to be comfortable I would pay a little more. Not the best not even the worst. But I would definetly try hard to find a more sutiable place to stay at.
- Hebert (8/5): - The area
- Paula (8/5): - Beautiful, big pool . Nice and clean rooms too. Check in at 4 pm. Don't like that at all.
- Jack (10/5): - Stayed at this location for a wedding. Tt was a great, affordable option, even when I booked it very last minute. The check-in and check-out process were very easy.
- Lilliam (6/5): - The room was ok, but it was very dated. The hall door into the bathroom didn’t close, & water pressure was a little low
- Gail (2/5): - Musty to the point we feared for the health of our lungs. We left immediately and found another hotel.
- Kelly (4/5): Deceiving - The pool is full of mold on the sides. Around the pool is not real clean as projected in the photos. The hotel is very old and rundown a bit.
- Madeleine (8/5): - The air conditioner made a lot of noise but overall was clean
We stayed one night and it was good for the price.
- Alice (4/5): - Just the air conditioner wasn’t really blowing air well everything else was great
- Verified traveler (4/5): 75 deposit for pets on top of other pet fees - Not worth the additional 75 fee for a pet, on top of the 25 fee and 50 hold. Property is old and not worth an additional 100 a night for a pet.
- Marie Antonia (6/5): - Quaint hotel close to hospital
- Amy L (8/5): One night stay - I was there for one night on a business trip. Front desk employees at both check in and check out were friendly and both processes were easy and fast. The bed and linens could have been a bit nicer/updated but overall the room met my needs. My only complaint was the noise. The air conditioning unit was very loud and unfortunately the people in the room above me were extremely loud and I did not get a good night sleep. Floors in the room where hard versus carpet so I heard everything from above me all night.
- Vishnu (4/5): - The staff Jada was very unkind and wicked and reluctant. The do no house cleaning. Imagine i upgrade tovthe suit tocenjoy my vacation buy the staff refuse to do any housing cleaning. Jada was very stupid. What a stupid girl. She was too proud
- Wylene (8/5): - I liked that effort was made to upgrade the floors and bathroom. It was a good experience for the one night we stayed. Will visit the hotel again if I need to stay in town again.
- Rodney (10/5): - Nice place nice fishing pond
- Marilian (2/5): - Receptionist was rude. We were treated as if we should know their facility.
- Timothy (6/5): - Adequate stay.
- Cesare (6/5): - Stayed overnight. It was fine for one night.
- Duane (10/5): - Great room, Clean meat and free of any critters
- Randy (8/5): - Like the "retro" feel. Liked the spacious suite feel to the room. Did not like the mattress. Worn, hard, tended to roll to middle.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Dirty and no water pressure. - Room was disgusting. No water pressure.
- Andrew (8/5): In transit stop to see a friend - Clean and bug free but shows signs of needing an update. Everything worked in the room except the landline phone. Internet was not fast but ok for email and general browsing. AC worked well but was louder than normal and emitted a mildew oder that stopped when unit was switched off.
- Sharon (4/5): - Got all settled into our room, went to climb into bed and found a bed bug on the sheets. Went to front office and was switched to another room. Terrified
- Gerard (8/5): - Ghbg
- Keith (8/5): - parking outside of room.
man smoking outside of my room
- Margaret (10/5): - Everything was fine
- Ronald (4/5): - Is this a welfare hotel?
- Damien (2/5): - 👎
- Jesus (8/5): - 👍
- Jeffrey (8/5): - Property is dated with very few electrical outlets, but the staff was very friendly and everything was clean.
- Martha (4/5): - During 2 short stays, Had to switch rooms because of locks on doors not working. Assured me they’re I process of correcting this with new ones.
- Jeffrey (6/5): - The location was convenient and the room were ok: clean
Only complaint was the loud AC unit right next the bed and the sheets which were coarse.
They also charged more then the agreed to price in Expedia at check-in $252.27 vs $202.27
- Verified traveler (2/5): Gross hotel - nothing like the photos! - The hotel looks NOTHING like the photos. Our room was in a long hallway (outdoor staircase) sandwiched between Big Rig Parking and a large gas station. We had a freeway out our window and our room was above a Pizza Hut. The cars on the road were loud, the people outside the fast food place under us were loud and the AC was horrendously loud! The sheets felt wet when we crawled into bed and we were worried about our safety. Luckily we had only booked one night. Do yourself a favor and find another place to stay! The photos are nothing like what is actually there.
- Serena (2/5): - Refused to give me a room after already paid. Left me stranded with no room and no car at 3am in the morning. Management should be ashamed!! I best be getting an entire refund!!!
- Stephen (8/5): - It’s not fancy but it’s a well appointed clean room. I like the kitchen area and the fact that the room had 3 sinks. That helps with family. Kitchen sink, bathroom sink and vanity in room. They also had plates and cups and silverware.
- Kevin (6/5): - The Royal Inn Hotel was an OK value. The room was large with a full refrigerator.
The TV remote would work intermittently. The phone did not work.
- Alex (10/5): - all good
- Ana (10/5): - Everything went smooth. Clean rooms. Pool clean. Restaurants at walking distance. Quite. The wifi was too slow but no biggie for us. We enjoyed our stay. We would come again.
