Guest Reviews
- Lindsey (10/5): - Don't like cash deposit, they couldn't give me any paper trail or receipt and that made me uncomfortable.
- Barrie (6/5): - Damaged bathroom door.
Mold??? on curtains
Pillow smelled
- Zebulon (10/5): - 16, I counted 16 “exotic workers” in and out of the establishment if you’re catching my drift, but I mean that’s not on the establishment itself whatsoever. In a way it provided good entertainment to be honest, was basically on a first name basis with half of them. Saw the same one three times I said “damn busy day” and she was like “gotta get that bread” and dabbed me up. Washed my hands vigorously for an hour but 10/10 no joke
- Gemma (2/5): - The staff of the property was collect us a lot instead of 85.50 the girl in the front desk collect 90, its unsafe to walk outside during afternoon time
- Wayman (2/5): - I had to leave this establishment. I got in the bed and bedbugs were present! I felt so uncomfortable.
- Jose (8/5): - Stayed there for 3 days.
Didn’t have any personal problems at all. I felt like my rental was safe at all times.
Pros: Fridge, microwave, a/c, great hotel staff.
Bed wasn't too hard nor too soft.
Cons: Pillows were really flat. The towels were dirty once I arrived, but I quickly talked to the cleaning lady and she changed them right away.
1 out of 5 star hotels, I’d give it a 3.75
- Jeannie (2/5): - They were supposed to reimburse me so can you call they said you had to when I reserved I told them I have a service dog and when I got there the guy was rude and refused service cause of my service dog I needed that money for dog food I had to go to gardenia to motel six and on buses with a dog is a lot of traveling when they could of told me over the phone
- Steve (6/5): - Cash deposit required for rooms no working ATM's nearby.
- shakticarolan (2/5): Stay away!, - The worst place ever, dirty, bad neighborhood, unfriendly and a disco just right next door. didn't sleep at all...For the price it was really a bad deal. The only decent thing was the mattress, yeah...
- DaJuan (10/5): Impressive no frills motel - For a no frills motel, I was thoroughly impressed with this property. You can tell that the owner put a lot of work into modernizing the room. Parking was a breeze on the property. I will most definitely use them again.
- Edward (8/5): All was quiet in the hood - Considering the Neighborhood. Was really quiet and peaceful stay
- Verified traveler (8/5): Satellite Motel review - Fair for the area where the motel is located.
- Albert (2/5): Very bad motel. - I did not like this motel. It is super outdated. My room was dirty. Front desk staff was extremely unfriendly.
- Devante (2/5): - room was extremely dirty, seen a roach in shower & under sheets, too dirty to stay a night therefore I checked out the same day
- Ron (6/5): - Well the bathroom had ants in it but the bed and the bedroom were pretty decent the plugins need work nothing you plugged in with stay in the socket
- Rajib (2/5): - Place is filthy. I had cockroaches in my bed. Looking at ways to post pictures.
- Betsy (10/5): Great stay - Good experience. Nice and clean room
- Anna (2/5): - My stay was horible they had bed bugs and roaches and ants I got bite up all on my right arm... and the staff was terrible when it came to visitors.... my 9 years old daughter couldn’t stay with the night with me and made her cry so I checked out a day early
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was close to where I wanted to be. And cheap. It’s in the hood, but reasonably safe. The management could have been friendlier. It’s best if you have a longtime resident to show you around. Still it was safe inside and reasonably quiet. You will certainly be able to soak up the local color there
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The front desk lady began to yell at me as soon as I got there. She began to shout and ask how many people people and than began to yell 10 dollar. As soon as I walked in the room it smells terrible! Carpet ripped and walls super dirty. I left around 6 pm and came like at 12:00AM and me and my daughter were super tired so 1 hr into our sleep I began to feel super itchy so I turned on the lights and there ants and some cockroaches in the bed! I packed my stuff my stuff and had to sleep in the car cause no one was in the front desk. Next morning I called Expedia to explain what was going on and nothing was done. I had prepaid for 2 nights and did not get a refund for the one night that i was not there. Extremely unsanitary and the owners are extremely rude and disrespectful. Lost money, lost my sleep and ruined one night of of my vacation.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Wasn’t expecting much, but this place is pretty dirty. Floor trim was covered in stains, window sills were caked in dirt, and the bedding was questionable. Lady that runs the check in knows just enough English to yell a response back at me whenever I asked a question. Was not the least bit polite to me at all. The area and the guests that stay there are pretty sketchy. Good luck trying to get any sleep since this place is right next to a sports bar not to mention the loud bangs and car noise at night.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Nasty - Dirty roaches burns on the bedding and floor housekeeping doesn't do there job just not somewhere to go in my opinion it was just cheap and the owners are very rude and cruel no matter what everyone isn't the same feel as if we all we rob the place
- Verified traveler (4/5): - I Will not go there again nor recommend it...........
- LaRonda (2/5): - Rude owners bed bugs and roaches
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Everyone is friendly . No loud noise. Manager is super.
- Verified traveler (6/5): It’s Literally Just Okay! - It’s a place to rest your head. Heat & A/C works they have good cable channels.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Location and directions ok for visitors. But not recommended for visistirs.
- Vincent (8/5): Yellow motel - Similar to a Motel 6 , big bed , restroom , not the best place but the price was the lowest at the moment, so pretty good value for your dollar.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Good experience - It was good, all was neat and clean, everything worked, the bed was comfortable too.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It’s definitely a 2.5 star motel ... if you keep to yourself nothing happens but the surrounding area is still ghetto and sketchy. However once you get past the rude owners and cigarette burns all over the room ... it’s actually pretty quiet and housekeeping is pretty good but management is a joke but I guess you get what you pay for ... Because it was quiet and no one bothered me during my stay technically as long as the prices remain low yes I would go back
- Gynaa (2/5): - I had a bad experience because the room had roaches and bed bugs and because of that I had to get transferred to another room. I woke up from that room to see bed bugs in the bed this was my worst hotel experience. Plus the owner was mad about me complaining when all of that was just inexcusable and unacceptable
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Nothing area was terrible managment was disrespectful mean just all around bad experience do not recommend this motel.
- T (8/5): - checking and send it is not so friendly but once you get checked in I will say I was comfortable in the room and the room was as clean as it can get there is a book issue around the refrigerator and there are cigarette Burns all over the room that I guess it's a motel so you get what you pay for overall I enjoy this day and I would go back in the future
- Anna (4/5): Very noisy area - The bed was very good, the fridge and the microwave were very useful, free parking was convenient, so was the access to public transport. Not suitable for people with sensitive hearing as the noise from the freeway and the late night train horns made the area deafening during the day and night.
- Krystle (6/5): You get what you pay for - The room looked clean on the surface but had roaches everywhere.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The most horrible place I have ever seen in my life. DO NOT STAY THERE!
Very unsafe. Very dirty. People were fighting the entire time. The staff don't speak a word of English.
So risky to stay there.
- ValsanM (2/5): Front Staff is the worst and rudest.Avoid . - Never have experiences such pathetic front staff.Seems like they are slaves brought from third world and stuck with a terrible job.Beware of this motel. Never experienced such pathetic behavior of front staff.
- Khadijah (4/5): - He manager was rude off the bat. First time there and he yells at me for trying to open the door. Never being there I was like wow that was rude of him. Finally get in and of course bed bugs
- Paul (8/5): - It was clean, comfortable, very affordable, within a 15-30 minute drive to downtown L.A. or LAX airport. The staff was ok. The only one slight negative was that the front panel on one of the nightstand drawers came off. That's hardly something to complain about but thought I should mention it as the motel wasn't anything like what almost all of the negative things others said.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This property deserves 5 stars. Early check-in (1 hour, I was tired from no sleep), clean room, clean bathroom, good AC, a fridge if I needed it, safe parking, safe area, bargain rate! These things don't happen by accident. Quality property and service!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Worst customer service ever, the guy was super rude, refused to give me the room and threatened to call the cops leaving ne out on the street with my friends. Absolute worst experience with a hotel ever.
- Ty (2/5): - The man and woman that runs the place are extremely rude lol lil mean bih threw my id at me.
- paul (4/5): Cheap, and that's what you get. - Good location, only because of good freeway access. Very little in the way of restaurants or retail in close proximity. This was one of the least expensive choices for Los Angeles, so I didn't expect much, and that's pretty much what you get in terms of room, decor, etc. Just an old motel with the basics. The staff barley spoke English and they were not friendly; almost paranoid.
- Mitch (4/5): - The carpet looked old and filthy so it needs to be changed. The bathroom didn't have a lock for privacy. You get what you pay for.
- Dan (10/5): Comfortable and quiet - Friendly people and staff. Even though the neighborhood appears rough, it's pretty calm and peaceful. There's plenty of places to eat within a 2 min walking distance, a 7-11 and liquor store
- David (6/5): - The staff was not pleasant at all either at checking in or checking out. The demanded a 5 dollar deposit for a generic blank key card and that was the only thing said in a ruff uninvited tone. I was too tired to say anything.
The room was ok I felt a bit uncomfortable about the surroundings but it is LA.
I tried to call the front desk right after checking in around 745ish and the phone just kept ringing with no answer. I wanted the WiFi passcode but never got it.
- Ashley (2/5): - There was stains all over the wall later in the night there was cockroaches all over the room and I told the manager of the apartment and they wouldn't refund me my money or switch me room so I just have to deal with cockroaches in my room all night. Do not recommend!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good location, for the most part - I only had two complaints, not major.
There’s no clothes hooks and it’s next door to a sports bar.
For the most part, it was fine. I had the room closest to the sports bar, but I barely heard or felt the music. If you’re sensitive to it, maybe ask in the “special instructions” to request a room as far away from the bar as possible.
Other than that, I had a good time. Bed was comfy, shower was decent, and if you need public transportation, the Metro rail system was a short walk away.
- Eugene (6/5): If you truly need a place to stay it's clean enoug - I originally stayed for two nights and then added three more nights. on the morning that I needed to check out Tuesday I need another night instead of him asking did you still need another night he pounded on my door telling me it was check out time I decided then to get a room at another hotel. There is a huge language barrier from the man in the woman that run the hotel the woman speaks no English whatsoever.
- Percy (2/5): THE ROACH MOTEL - TOO MANY ROACHES
- tracy (10/5): The best so far.. - It's the quiest I've ever seen a motel. This hotel deserves people to come stay. I love it.
- J032985 (2/5): - There’s roaches everywhere.
- WesPete82 (2/5): A Rundown Mess Run By Rundown Staff - I don't typically leave negative, but this stay beckoned a written response:
You know...when booking a hotel for under $100/night, there are certain allowances you pay to the establishment. Maybe it's not lavish. Maybe the area isn't great. Maybe the other guests are questionable. Yes, there are many factors an establishment, whether because of finances or the character of its clientele, cannot control and must merely attempt to manage, but what EVERY business, especially in the hotel/motel industry, can control is customer service.
Yes, I can understand the fatigue that must come from being in an area that attracts uncivil, unclean, or even criminal behavior on your grounds, but what that DOES NOT give you permission to do is treat guests who have exhibited none of this behavior as if they're a problem waiting to happen. The lady at the desk was rude, aggressive, and didn't even attempt to mask her judgemental stares because I'm a young black man. I'm a friendly person. I greeted her upon arrival and her frown and steely stare oozed of "Oh God, another one." The only thing managed to say to me was "NO VISITORS", not once, but twice. No words even as she gave me the key.
If I were the staff of a hotel in a bad neighborhood with smelly rooms, unclean bedding, and stained towels that I don't have the means (or care) to do anything about, I'd AT LEAST work on managing to smile and say hello to new guests instead of regarding them as another burden from check-in to check-out.
