• Darren (10/5): - The hotel has its place in the market and is doing well. Super simple check in, clean and neat room. Super simple check out. Obviously a popular stop for long distance travellers, so some noise early morning as the Nomads get rolling at 5am, but that isn't surprising. I've now stayed 3 times in two years and each time been very satisfied for the result, noting the price. Well done.

• ELIZABETT (4/5): - I booked this motel based on its 8.8-star rating, but I can confidently say it falls far short of that!! The bathroom was filthy, and instead of proper towels, I was provided with two dirty floor mats, no full-sized towel at all. I could hear loud banging, children screaming and general noise from the other rooms that continued throughout the night, and the smell of food from the owners’ kitchen permeated my entire room, as it was located near the reception and private residence. The lighting in the room was harsh and clinical, more like a hospital than a restful space. Dust coated all four walls, the bed was rock-hard, and the overall atmosphere felt neglected and uninviting. As a solo female traveller just passing through, I was simply looking for a clean and safe place to sleep. Unfortunately, I felt I had neither. The front door was hollow and secured with only a single basic lock. The blinds were thin and barely blocked the glaring fluorescent light from outside. To make matters worse, there was a pair of “communal thongs” left in the room, presumably because even the staff knew the shower was too dirty to use barefoot. When I asked the receptionist about food options nearby, she was dismissive and unhelpful, telling me to “just use Google.” She eventually mentioned a local pub but was neither friendly nor welcoming. I barely slept and left as soon as it was light enough to continue my drive. Unless you're absolutely desperate, I would not recommend staying here.

• Shirley (6/5): - On arrival, the receptionist was not at all welcoming. GRUMPY!!, where as the housemaid was the opposite. In the room, it was tidy and clean, however the toilet kept filling up in the bowl and taking ages to flush away, not enough towels, crockery, cutlery, glasses to cater for 4 people, and the toaster only worked it you stood there holding it down. The barbecue was disgustingly dirty. On handing the key back in to tell her about the toilet problem and toaster, she was just as grumpy as when we arrived.

• Bryan (4/5): Gone down hill - Reception smelt of fish, had to walk through several people smoking (residents I think). I have stopped here before it has gone down a lot. Bathroom had stains on the wall, green scum around the tap and plug hole. Rusty shower curtain rail and brown stains on the towels. Had to go looking for toilet paper. No milk or biscuits, stain on the ceiling of the bedroom and pillow cases. Residents smoking and talking at 5.30am very noisy. Will not stop here again.

Checked in got key, opened door to room and all beds had been slept in and no service to room. They offered another room with inadequate number of beds. Room had to be made up quickly. Rooms were still being made up at 4pm! Very old motel had its day. Only positive were the beds themselves were ver comfortable.
• Stephen (6/5): - The property is clean, the bed was comfortable, and functional but that's about it. The front wall is paper thin so you can hear every noice. Apartments is a big stretch, just old hotel rooms. The description of the property is more glamorous than it is.

Generally very clean but the microwave was a little in need.No wardrobe but a free standing coat hanger so there were no hangers. It didn’t bother me but it might if you wanted to hang good clothes. This motel is used by workers who leave around 6am every morning until about 8am and is often quite noisy so if you want a sleep in this is probably not the place for you. Easy walking distance to many local restaurants and fast food.Reasonably close to the artesian baths.

The rooms are a decent size with an extremely comfortable bed which ensures a great night's sleep in quiet surroundings. No traffic noise and the airconditiong is whisper quiet. If not too hot there are even windows that can be opened for fresh air. To self cater is easy with a bench and table and chairs. Thank you ....your super clean accommodation was by far the best in our travels from Queensland to Melbourne and return.

The room had all the usual conveniences plus more. Dining options are within walking distance. The area is secured of an evening and is very quiet. Lovely stay and would not hesitate to stay here in the future.

I realise we chose the room but were under the impression that it was part of an apartment not just a motel room

It is clean and very comfortable. The owners went above and beyond to make sure you feel at home. I would not hesitate to recommend staying here to anyone traveling to Moree.
