With big sliding door open it is very airy but not suitable to have open at night.

Mervyn (4/5): This motel did the job for us,but for the above reasons we won't be back - my own breakfast. Comfortable bed .Good location Poor ventilation,room was stuffy. No Air conditioning. If you opened the door for ventilation 'the traffic noise was too much. Manager not talkative

Jayne (6/5): Nice , but didn’t get much sleep, due to no aircon, And noise from fan. - Location good. Clean No air conditioning and it was like a sweat box. Little fan given, but didn’t want to open windows incase of bugs, and the road choice as being on a busy main road.

Rex & Michelle (1/5): Never stay again!! - Location We booked for 3 adults and 1 child. The room had 1 double and 1 single bed , No where for other adult to sleep . Rude ex owner phoned and said its bookings.com fault that no other bed was made available 🙄 New owners had no idea what was going on. No refund for extra charged who didn’t stay as he had no bed . Also coffee cups need addressing one was chipped and two stained 🤮 1 pkt of biscuits for 3 paid for and 1 child ??? DO NOT RECOMMEND
Stanton (7/5): Great stay - The room was very spacious, and gave us all we needed for an extended weekend stay. Really nice having a TV for when I didn't feel like going out, the room was very cosy, bed was very comfy, and I loved that the kitchenette had a hot plate! Appreciated the daily service if needed. Our room was closest to the road, and the street noise reflected that. It could be pretty loud at night, as we were on a long straight stretch of road and all sorts of vehicles would rev down it at all hours of the night. I brought my earplugs though, and when using these, it wasn't a problem.
Darren (5/5): Good location, however will never stay here again. - Good location and amenities. The owner was aggressive and tied to tell me some amenities were not available because he had things stored in the room. Had to ask to get the house serviced after 2 days.

Mark (10/5): - Awesome place to stay. Very conveniently located 15 minutes from Christchurch airport and there's plenty of dinning options in Kaiapoi, all within 5 minute drive. The kitchenette is a stand out feature of these rooms. Great service from the owners as well. Will definitely stay here again

Lindy (8/5): Suited our needs perfect .......... - Perfect location for wedding we attended in Kaiapoi. A short(ish) walk to lovely shops, cafes & bars. House is slightly away from the motel units so nice and quiet even though on the main street of Kaiapoi. Good UBER rides if required. Shower is very low on the wall, not so easy to wash your hair if you are tall. Otherwise, a lovely place, lovely owners, suited all our needs.

Trent (8/5): Good facilities but needs some maintenance - Bed was very comfortable! Had everything you need and a bit more, including a torch! Maintenance is needed. Carpets starting to wear, blind on skylight clogged up and would not close. Skylights had bird poo and moss on the outside of them.

Craig (8/5): Clean and quiet. - Clean and well appointed, good facilities. The only negative for this property was the managers abrupt manner and when approached for services (towels/toilet paper) he made us feel like it was an inconvenience, which was disappointing.
