• Suzanne (8/5): A lovely stay in Nagarkot - A lovely peaceful place to spend our 2 days at Nagarkot. Staff were just lovely and incredibly helpful. Didn't get to see the mountains because of the rain, but we enjoyed out stay regardless.
• Sandy (10/5): Ein Ort, der ganz besonderen Magie mitten im Dschungel - Ich habe mich gefühlt wie eine Königin rund um Betreuung erstklassiger Support Frühstück nach meinen Wünschen Kann ich von Herzen jedem empfehlen, hier Urlaub zu machen. So viel Ruhe so viel Stille und ein ganz besonderer Ort mitten im Dschungel. Vielen herzlichen Dank, ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder viel Segen für alle Es gibt nichts, was mir nicht gefallen hat

С погодой не очень повезло , туман закрывал горы и вид на них , но рассвет встретить все же было красиво . Для моего первого посещения Нагаркот все очень понравилось . Цена мб высоковата , но это субъективно . Завтрак включен - шведский стол. Все было вкусно , хотя и скромно . Обед и ужин - на мой взгляд простоваты и дороговаты в отеле . Тусклый свет в номере . Просила вид из номера на рассвет , и балкон . Или рекомендации учли , но номер дали моим друзьям . Мне достался номер значительно меньше проще и без вида . Это не понравилось .
• Toufiq (10/5): - A truly memorable stay to end our Nepal tour. The Fort Resort offers views and gardens that are worth every penny, but it’s the hospitality that stands out most. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful. We found ourselves spending the majority of our time in the beautiful garden—it was the perfect spot to relax before heading home. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Nagarkot!
• Phadungruangkij (10/5): Wonderful and Memorable - Actually we loved everything here. The hotel's designs and decor are a mix of local Nepalese style and English cottage. The hotel management has been very well taking care of the woodland around the hotel. The staffs even walked us through the trails and explaining everything from tea trees plantation to spiritual connection. There was a 'reception dog' that came to greeted us (though she's not part of the hotel) but she was so gentle and friendly. It's something we can not control: the weather. During our short stay the sky was not open and we couldn't see the Himalayas on the horizon. Definitely worth coming back again.

• Revathi (9/5): An amazing and peaceful 3 night stay at an incredibly enchanting place - It’s perched on the hill facing sunrise and the Himalayas. The owners and gardeners have transformed the place into a little haven filled with a variety of plants. The garden is filled with mature trees, climbers, potted plants, colours and fragrance. Which in turn attract different birds . There are many places to sit and enjoy this spectacular outdoor space. The indoors are just as charming with large glass windows and multiple sitting areas . Above all, the service was excellent. The attentive staff were always within reach and helped with a smile:) All good

• Alexander (9/5): Schöne Unterkunft mit historischem Charme und toller Aussicht - Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit tollem Blick - bei guter Sicht bis zum Everest. Die Gartenanlage ist wunderschön mit sehr vielen Topfpflanzen und vielen authentischen Details, die den Fort-Charakter unterstreichen. Zimmer war groß und sauber. Restaurant und Frühstück waren ok. Lage wirkt durch die Bepflanzung einsamer als sie es ist. Es gibt viele toll gestaltete Terrassen mit liebevollen Details (Tonfiguren). Schöne Wanderwege in der Nähe. Personal war freundlich. Zufahrt ist nicht ganz leicht zu finden - ist aber kein wirkliches Problem.

• Corinna (6/5): Gut bis auf den Portier. - Lage war sehr schön. Zimmer sehr geräumig. Alles sehr sauber. Badezimmer etwas spartanisch und lieblos. Personal super freundlich bis auf den Herren an der Rezeption. Dieser war unfreundlich, kein Danke, kein Bitte, kein Tschüss. Wir baten um Hilfe beim Transfer zum Aussichtsturm für den Sonnenaufgang. Da hat er uns abgewimmelt. Später hat uns ein anderer Mitarbeiter geholfen.

• NADIM (10/5): Excellent établissement avec un point de vue inouï - L’hôtel a un charme fou, comme un très grand chalet de montagne avec un adorable jardin en terrasse, rempli de pots de fleurs qui sentent très bon, conifères et quelques ruches. Possibilité de prendre en verre au soleil dans le jardin, beaucoup de sérénité et de calme au programme. Équipements et chambre très confortables, les chambres sont très spacieuses, propres et avec chauffage ou climatisation. Le restaurant est très bon et très copieux, ce n’est pas particulièrement cher au vu de la qualité et de l’isolement du lieu (on mange très bien pour 900 roupies hors alcools). Vue panoramique sur l’Himalaya, par temps clair. Hôtel exposé nord-est, idéal pour le lever du soleil. Et une mention spéciale pour le personnel, qui est absolument adorable et très prévenant, je n’ai jamais vu un staff aussi attentif au confort et au plaisir des clients.

The gardens was great to roam around and read. The staff to check in and ask any question ignored me until a man came up and asked a question first. Then reluctantly I was served. It was VERY noisy!!

The room I got was also extremely spacious that I thought I got the wrong room. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, and the whole hotel vibe was soothing and serene. Nothing - everything was great. It was funny that the power went off a few times but was nevertheless, a great experience!

• Sander (9/5): Op het tuinterras naar de Himalayas kijken - Nagarkot geeft je een mooi uitzicht, en de dak en tuin-terrassen van dit hotel zijn daarvoor een supermooie plek. Dit hotel is smaakvol ingericht, en heeft een hele mooie architectuur. We waren er slechts één nacht in Januari, en hadden overdag nauwelijk zicht op de bergen. Bij de zonsopgang werd dat goedgemaakt, omdat de wolken dan nog laag in het dal hangen. Het is op 10 minuten lopen van het dorp, dat overigens niks voorstelt. Er zijn een aantal mooie wandelingen uitgezet in de buurt. Verwacht niet veel bordjes of pijlen, je loopt het beste op een gps wandel app zoals Komoot. We hadden een mooie grote kamer, met ramen rondom. Het warme water in de douche komt uit een boiler en is daarmee ook best snel op.

My room was huge. It had heating and hot water for showering. The staff were great and friendly and I enjoyed my evening meals at the hotel restaurant which was very reasonably priced. Would go back in a heartbeat. Nothing

Dichtbij in de omgeving kun je mooie wandelingen maken. Het restaurant is geweldig! Heerlijk eten in alle categorien/ ook westers. De tuinen bij de locatie, de terassen met bomen en bloemen, de rust, we wilden niet meer weg. Gaan! Niets

• nazrulnsu (7/5): The hotel offers charm and character, though some basic amenities need thoughtful improvement - The view from the hotel and the garden were both fabulous. Watching the sunrise from the rooftop was the most memorable part of the stay—I didn’t have to go anywhere else to experience it. On a clear morning, the mountain range is visible with stunning clarity. The washrooms were quite claustrophobic. With a bit more planning and a proper exhaust fan, they could have been much better. Given the cold weather, the bathroom remained wet most of the time, and water kept dripping from the push shower. And the hotel internet, it was horrible. The SIM card (Ncell) I bought at Kathmandu airport was completely useless, and the hotel’s internet could have been much better with a few good mesh routers.

The hotel is quaint and old worldly, but very well maintained by a very helpful and competent staff. Nothing in particular, would love to go back a second time.

• John (10/5): Peaceful Haven in the Hills - We were looking for some luxury after a long trek and The Fort resort was a great stay. It is very private and quiet; with several acres of garden and lots of communal space to relax in. The building and it's lodges are stunning but what really makes the stay so good is the staff. They couldn't do enough for us and we felt very well looked after. The location is a short walk out of Nagarkot which made for a relaxing stroll if we chose to eat out or go exploring. The food at the Fort was great with a good choice and good quality. They have a shuttle car service and the driver was the only one we felt comfortable with whilst in Nepal. Thanks for a super few days. The comunal areas can be cold, we visited in November, but staff were always ready with a heater by your side. The garden has lots of bee hives, which is great, but one hive was angry for a couple of days which made sitting out uncomfortable.

Мы жили в коттедже с камином, который согревал нас холодными вечерами. Кухня разнообразная и очень вкусная как в меню, так и на шведском столе. Персонал заслуживает отдельного внимания и благодарности. Очень приветливые, внимательные, душевные. Все просьбы удовлетворились незамедлительно. Tolle Lage, sehr schöne, gepflegte Anlage, sehr schöne, große Zimmer, sehr bequeme Betten. Das Personal war total nett und hat uns z.B. zu den Mahlzeiten Heizstrahler an den Tisch gestellt. Das Essen war recht gut, natürlich ist es aber vor allem der Sonnenaufgang mit dem tollen Blick in den Himalaya, was begeistert. Wir fanden aber auch den hauseigenen Fahrer sehr gut, der uns in Nagarkot zu einem wirklich fairen Preis abgeholt hat und uns später auch wieder weiter gebracht hat. Es war recht kühl, aber dafür kann ja nun keiner was. (Das Personal reagierte da gut und es gab heißen Tee, Heizstrahler und dicke Decken für die Nacht)

• Holly (10/5): Amazing views of the mountains - The views of the mountains was amazing! The grounds are also beautiful and they make their own honey. The road to the resort is just a pile of rubble with rubbish thrown on the ground. This is not the fault of the resort, but if you have any kind of difficulty in walking on uneven rocks, then you will need to get a taxi right to the hotel.

• Nadia (10/5): Great stay close to nature - 1. The location. The view from the courtyard and the positioning of the cottages in-between the hills is one of a kind. 2. The rooms. The intricate vintage furniture details and the touch of nature in every corner and the calm spaciousness is nowhere else to be found in nagorkot. 3. The staff. They are so kind and go out of their way to accommodate your needs. 4. People may find the absence of intercom and television annoying but we found it super relaxing. I know most of the hotels and resorts at Nagorkot do not possess elevators including The Fort (it's difficult for this geographical location). Despite knowing that we felt the lack thereof.

The staffs are very helpful and they went above and beyond to assist us in any possible ways . Wi Fi is very slow in our room but it worked perfect outside of the room . The roof on the main building is accessible so you can admire beautiful sunrises & sunsets! there is a lot of green around & the owner pays a lot of attention to it. Ideal place to chill out & relax if you get tired with capital city noise.

• Nadine (8/5): Beautiful and peaceful property for some quiet time. I went for a personal writer's retreat. - The property has a lot of character. The gardens are amazing and the views so good. Lots of quiet little spots to read and meditate. The staff were so attentive and helpful. It is great value for money. The wifi was weak. Just be aware. I ate all my meals à la carte, but the one time I had the buffet, I got sick. So maybe stay away from the buffet. The food is reasonably priced. All the a la carte items were great.

• Claude (10/5): Just a Fabulous stay! - From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and well taking care of by the generous staff, they all act if they owned the place. We were at the Fort for 2 nights, and were gifted with sunset and sunrise on the majestic Himalayas. We enjoyed a guided trek, it was fabulous ! The food was good, portions were generous, actually everything was great, I wish we could have stayed a whole week! Absolutely nothing!
