• Anna (9/5): Well-located accommodation at a good price. - The hotel has a very good location – close to the city center, yet it’s still possible to park on a nearby side street (paid like regular city parking). There is an elevator in the building, which is a big plus. The rooms are quite spacious, and it was nice to have access to water and there is a kettle in the room. Breakfast starts at 7:30, which is later than in many places in Sicily (often from 7:00). Because we had to leave early for our flight, we couldn’t have breakfast despite having paid for it, and no takeaway option was offered. Our room faced the street, which was quite busy and noisy, so it might be bothersome for light sleepers. Rooms facing the courtyard are much quieter.

• Mónika (9/5): Jó szállás, jó helyen - A szállás a Villa Bellini közelében van, kb 10 perces sétával minden látnivalótól. A reggeli szuper volt, változatos a többi szálláshoz képest. A személyzet nagyon kedves, segítőkész. Kicsit kemény a matrac.

Great breakfast selection daily. Bed was remade but linens weren't changed. The floor in rooms are NOT cleaned - not even the bathroom. Not comfortable if you like to take your shoes off. There was an occasional smell from the bathroom maybe due to old sewage pipes.

Stanza tripla un po' piccolina ma comoda, calda e accogliente considerando che si tratta di un palazzo storico in centro. Letto e cuscini davvero ottimi, si dorme benissimo ed il riposo è davvero di qualità!Bagno anche se piccolo tutto funzionale e pulito. Le stanze come la nostra collocate all'interno sulla parte del lucernario sono silenziosissime e di notte questo di apprezza particolarmente. Buffet della colazione ricco (dolce e salato) e tutto ben curato. L'angolo gluten free, per chi necessita come me, poteva essere più vario come scelta degli alimenti ma comunque ho potuto fare delle buone colazioni ogni mattina
• juliusg284 (10/5): Excellent experience - This is one of the Best hotel I ever stayed during my business travel, near in everything restaurant, tourist spot, store and everything you need. The owner and the staff us really great, accommodating, hospitable plus very kind. The room and bathroom is clean plus the breakfast is specially cooked by the owner that why it’s good.. The room value is very affordable. The environment is good because it is in the city center. Overall experience there is excellent. Thank you to the owner Madam Ribella definitely I will recommend your hotel to my Colleague.
• edrY1457IY (8/5): Good expirience - The front desk staff are excellent and very helpful. Room was small but quiet and well maintained. We left our luggage in a locked lounge and could use the facilities until we caught the nearby Alibus at Viale stop. The advantage of being on the edge of the tourist area is access to regular shops and restaurants.

Amenities were not clear, water? coffee? Question below about the beach, it was not mentioned anywhere on the premises.

• Glenno11 (8/5): Good accomodation - A nice place to stay. The rooms were clean and a decent size and the breakfast had a good range of options. It is centrally located at the northern side of the central old area of the city, so you can easily walk to most places. It is pretty much next Via Etnea, which seems to be the main thoroughfare. The reception in not manned all day, so make sure you confirm your arrival time and get your entry codes if necessary.

The rooms were extremely noisy; all the street noise could be heard throughout the night. The rooms are facing a very busy street and the walls are like paper. It was impossible to sleep. Maybe they should offer some earplugs..

We were greeted by the hostess.The hostess (Revella?) is very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was very good. We enjoyed it very much. There is a large variety of choices. The room was nice a little small but we had a comfortable bed and slept well. It wasn’t noisy at all. The hotel is at a very good location very central and walking distance to all the main central area for shopping and the historic buildings, etc. This is the second time we’ve stayed here and that is why we chose it as we enjoyed it the first time a few years ago.

• April (8/5): Pros and Cons - We stayed here for one night to catch our flight home the next morning. Check-in was simple, clear instructions were given. Texts and emails are not always immediately returned, and their information states it could take several days to get a response. The rooms are nice, we had very little air conditioning so we were quite uncomfortable. More road noise than I expected. Close to airport

• 184debbiec (8/5): Small rooms - This place was ok. Very small rooms just for 2 people. No safe or mini fridge which we found useful in other accommodations. Staff was pleasant, but are only there in the morning. Make sure if you’re checking in after 12:00 you have to get in touch with them and get instructions for getting into the building and your room. You need a code at 2 doors. Breakfast was good but had mostly sweets and breads. No views from rooms except an alley and adjacent buildings. In close proximity to restaurants, but a good 25 min walk to the old town and square.

• Russell (9/5): An excellent base for exploring Catania on foot. - Modern, comfortable rooms. Nice continental buffet breakfast. Helpful staff. Good location, very close to a stop of the airport bus (Alibus). Very noisy street.
• mischiefness (6/5): One night stay in Catania - Spent one night at Ottomood Central Catania B&B, arriving on a 7pm flight from UK. Took a transfer for €25 suggested by B&B. Note the bus stop from airport is very near to hotel so could have done that also. The best thing about this B&B is that it’s fairly central. It’s a 10 min walk to the Cathedral and main square which is brilliant and 3min walk to a park and a street full of busy restaurants. The metro is a 10 minute walk and the central bus station to catch the bus to Giardini Naxos etc is 20mins. Instructions via WhatsApp to get into the B&B which was easy. This is not a 24hour reception. Our keys were waiting for us. Room was petite, clean, had a comfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom also petite and clean. Only one set of towels for one person which we did t realise until we showed in the morning. (small print says extra charge for towels so perhaps that was reason?). You couldn’t stay more than 1/2 nights. Our room faced into a very busy main road and despite the soundproofing on the windows we could still hear the traffic and had to wear loop sleep earplugs. Impossible to leave windows open as the road is too busy even on Easter Sunday. The next morning we were woken by our fellow guests in the corridor. Breakfast was served downstairs in a small kitchen reception area. It’s was also quite noisy. Breakfast is cold continental - cold boiled eggs, cheese, bread, pastries, cereal, fruit etc Coffee was terrible.. bitter and undrinkable. Plus plastic cups for water (not sure why there were no glasses? ) We were able to leave our cases while we went and explored. Note there is no toilet to use when you return to collect them. Overall we found the B&B clean and perfunctory. No one asked if we slept well or had a nice stay or if we needed directions etc.. Note Catania has a rubbish problem so don’t be surprised by streets off from the B&B full of litter.

• MSfromYYZ (10/5): Perfect Catania Accommodation - This was a fantastic place to stay. A comfortable 15 minute walk to the center of Catania with lots of nice restaurants even closer. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. The host was wonderful and very accommodating as we extended our stay since it was so perfect. The breakfast was also very good with lots of options and delicious coffee. Do not hesitate to book this place!
• Daniel (8/5): - Property is an easy walk out of the city passed the park and gardens down the main streets. The bus from the airport (via the bus station) goes passed the front door (ask for 'Viale'). It's clean spacious and modern inside. Check in was unmanned and easy. The only issue is that the windows (/balcony doors) are single glazed and the road gets really noisy from 6am with people using horns. They also empty bins and glass into refuse trucks around midnight! If there was a bit more soundproofing then I'd have no problem giving more stars!
