- Saskia (9/5): Tolles Hotel für Ruhesuchende - mit kleinen Abstrichen - Der Ausblick auf den Ätna, die anderen Berge und Felder ist wirklich phänomenal - fast unwirklich. Sowohl der Außen- als auch der Innenbereich des Hotels sind sehr modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Pool hatte Mitte Mai schon eine sehr angenehme Temperatur, es gibt genügend Liegen, kostenlose Poolhandtücher und während man an seinem Cocktail nippt kann man von dort aus den Blick auf den Ätna genießen. Hier lässt es sich aushalten. Das Hotel liegt wirklich mitten im Nirgendwo. Außer Kuhglocken und dem Blöken der Schafe vom nahegelegenen Bauernhof ist hier nicht viel zu hören. Für Ruhesuchende ist das schön, wenn man auch etwas unternehmen oder auswärts essen will, sollte man das aber beachten. Ohne Mietwagen geht hier nichts. Das „normale“ À la carte Dinner im Restaurant war sehr raffiniert und lecker und das Personal an diesem Abend sehr aufmerksam (wir waren nur 2 Nächte hier). Die Auswahl und Portionen sind allerdings sehr klein und die Preise dafür wiederum recht hoch. Das Frühstück ist halb Buffet, halb à la carte (inbegriffen) und hat uns ebenfalls begeistert. Das Rührei und die Pancakes waren ein Traum! Das Essen ist zum Großteil vegetarisch und aus regionalen Zutaten. Die Eier kommen von den hoteleigenen Hühnern. Es gibt auch (mindestens eine) Hotelkatze, die insbesondere beim Frühstück herumstreunert. Wir fanden sie süß, sie hat manchmal aber auch am Tisch gebettelt (und war bei vielen erfolgreich ;)). Unser Zimmer (Standard-Doppelzimmer) war schön eingerichtet, aber sehr dunkel, und das Bett war für meinen Geschmack viel zu hart. Die Klimaanlage hat quasi gar nicht gekühlt. Wir hatten „nur“ 24 - 27 Grad draußen, daher war es nicht so dramatisch und wir haben nachts die Balkontür offen gelassen. Leider sind die Zimmer aber auch sehr hellhörig. Man hört jedes Mal, wenn jemand reinkommt oder sein Zimmer verlässt. Auch die Putzkräfte waren morgens ab 8:30 Uhr schon sehr laut auf dem Gang unterwegs. Der Fernseher hatte keine deutschen Programme, war für uns aber nicht so schlimm. Den Pizza-Abend im Restaurant fanden wir leider nicht so toll. Die Pizzen waren recht klein und der Teig war teilweise zu dünn, sodass alles durchgeweicht war. Der Rand wiederum war so zäh, dass das Schneiden ein echter Kraftakt war. An dem Abend war das Personal außerdem sehr unaufmerksam. Uns wurde zunächst eine falsche Pizza gebracht und zum Schluss haben wir sehr lange warten müssen, bis man mal jemanden erwischt hat der einem die Rechnung brachte. Grundsätzlich war der Service sehr durchwachsen. Teilweise war das Personal sehr freundlich und richtig auf Zack, aber manchmal wirkten die Servicekräfte ziemlich kühl, gelangweilt oder etwas verpeilt. Wir fanden es außerdem sehr schade, dass die Poolbar nur von 13.30 - ca. 18.30 Uhr besetzt war. Davor saß man komplett auf dem Trockenen. Große Wasserflaschen bekommt man hier auch nicht, nur teures Wasser aus Dosen. Die Getränkepreise allgemein sind auch eher hoch (Aperol Spritz 10€, Cocktails 12-14€, Bier 6€). Und draußen fehlen (abseits der Liegen) irgendwie ein paar Loungemöbel oder sonstige Sitzmöglichkeiten. Wäre doch toll, wenn man abends draußen einen Cocktail trinken und dabei den Sonnenuntergang anschauen könnte. Beim Abendessen und auch beim Check-out standen teilweise falsche/teurere Positionen auf der Rechnung. Also lieber doppelt checken.
- Pieter (9/5): Fantastische plek om te vertoeven! Wat een uitzicht. - Prachtig uitzicht op de Etna, vriendelijk personeel, lekker ontbijt. Ook het avondeten was gastronomisch. De kamers zijn niet geïsoleerd. Hierdoor word je wakker van zodra de eerste persoon in de ochtend door de gang stapt en de deur opent. Dat is jammer.

Installation sanitaire soit disant compatible pour handicapés mal réalisée, douche qui éclabousse le lavabo et articles de toilettes, les pieds de ma compagne n'atteignaient pas le sol quand assis aux toilettes, ... dommage car la bonne intention semblait y être ...

Dat is wel een nadeel want het zo fijn dat je niets anders meer wil. Hoeft ook niet want de Etna zie je echt vanuit de raam, zwembad en vanaf het terras dus doe geen moeite dompel je hier in 1 en al verwennerij.

- Narges (8/5): Prima verblijf en zeker genoten! - De accommodatie is prima maar de kamers zijn erg simpel. Verwacht daar niet teveel van. Regalbuto is geen bruisende omgeving en het is ver rijden naar de bruisende stadjes nabij. Hier hadden wij meer onderzoek naar moeten doen, dat is verder geen nadeel voor Rocca, onze eigen stomme fout. Een huurauto is dan ook zeker een must als je hier verblijft. Het personeel is erg behulpzaam! Kamers worden netjes schoongemaakt wanneer je even weg bent. Het zwembad is heerlijk voor verkoeling. Al met al zeker een positieve ervaring! Het restaurant biedt matig eten. De nadruk ligt veel op de franse cuisine in plaats van de Italiaanse. Dat is zonde en zeker gezien de rijke keuken van Italië. De bar aan het zwembad is vaak onbemand.

Their warmth and professionalism made our stay feel very special. The property itself was finished exquisitely, with beautiful design touches throughout, and the views were simply breathtaking — waking up to that scenery was a highlight of our trip. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, though the menu was quite small. We stayed for five days and managed to try everything, so a bit more variety would have been nice. Overall, an excellent experience thanks to the stunning setting, amazing staff, and great food — just wish the bed had been better! The only downside was the bed, which was unfortunately quite uncomfortable and made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.

Lyxig frukost med både buffé och a la carte meny som ingick. Väldigt romantiskt. Vi hade svårt att hitta dit. GPS:en ledde oss fel och vi hamnade på jättesvåra vägar. Vi hade önskat tidigare check in så att man kan njuta mer av det vackra boendet. Det borde ha framgått mer vilken utsikt man skulle ha från sitt fönster. Då utsikten var en stor del av vistelsen.

The place is really relaxing, beautiful views, extreamally friendly staff, good maintained facilities. Exceptional breakfast. But the best of the best - was the dinner! Just wow! Not really cheap, but it was just so special and delicious! The chief deserves Michelin star - no doubt! Don't miss the tasting menu! The wine card is also great. Really not issue for us, but it's far from anywhere except the Sicily Outlet Village—for those looking to spend a mre money :)

Breakfast was amazing with cooked options and a very comprehensive continental selection (sweet and savoury). Das Personal war extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend und wir würden jederzeit wieder an diesen wundervollen Ort fahren! Danke für den tollen Urlaub! Das Essen abends im Restaurant und das Frühstück sind ebenfalls unheimlich gut. Einfach nichts.

Una noche vimos el Etna en erupción La cena no tiene opciones variadas, una noche la única opción disponible era la cena en pasos, que no es para todos los paladares.

- Iris (7/5): Hohe Erwartungen, leider nur teilweise erfüllt - Die Anlage des Hotels ist wirklich sehr schön und die allgemein nutzbaren Hotelteile wie Rezeption, Speisesaal, Pool sehr geschmackvoll und stilsicher gestaltet. Sehr schön war der Ausblick in die umliegende Landschaft. Sehr gut gefallen hat uns auch unser Aufenthalt im Private Spa, das zusätzlich gebucht werden kann. Wir hatten auch eine Freude die ebenfalls am Grundstück lebenden Hühner zu beobachten, deren Eier auch beim Frühstück angeboten werden. Wir hatten uns von dem Hotel aufgrund der Fotos und der anderen Bewertungen viel erwartet, wurden allerdings enttäuscht in Bezug auf die Zimmereinrichtung, das Frühstück und das Personal. Die Einrichtung des Zimmers konnte leider nicht mit der sehr geschmackvollen Einrichtung der allgemeinen Anlagen mithalten. Unser Zimmer war außerdem relativ laut, da direkt darunter eine Lager bzw. eine kleine Garage war und immer wieder das sehr laute Schiebetor auf- und zugemacht wurde - leider auch um 5:30 Uhr früh oder 23 Uhr abends. Das Personal empfanden wir bis auf wenige Ausnahmen nicht als besonders freundlich. So wurden wir beispielsweise bei der Buchung des Spas nicht bis dorthin begleitet und eingewiesen - zum Glück hatte uns ein netter Angestellter am Tag zuvor spontan dort herumgeführt. Nicht alle Angestellten grüßten und wir empfanden sie im Vergleich zu unserer vorangehenden Unterkunft (Villa Salisá) als nicht herzlich. Das Frühstück konnte uns nicht überzeugen bis auf die ebenfalls bestellbaren Gerichte aus der Küche. Es wirkte eher lieblos und es wurde immer das gleiche angeboten. Bei unserer Unterkunft zuvor gab es beispielsweise jeden Tag einen anderen Kuchen. Wir nutzen daher auch das Restaurant nur einmal ab Abend, das uns jedoch ebenfalls nicht überzeugte (vor allem in Bezug auf das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis). Viel besser fanden wir das Lokal KEB-KITCHEN AND BEVERAGE in der Nähe.

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The food was exceptional, with everything fresh and sourced locally, which made each meal special. Our room was very clean, fresh, and comfortable, adding to the overall experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable and authentic stay.

Everyone was accommodating and extremely helpful. The food was delicious. The pool was great, and the private pool was luxurious. The saddest part was that we couldn’t stay longer! Thanks for a wonderful experience!

- kim (10/5): Geweldig! - Wat een fantastisch verblijf was dit! We hebben hier twee nachten doorgebracht en zijn volledig in de watten gelegd. Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk, zowel tijdens het diner als bij het ontbijt. Het diner was heerlijk en de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding uitstekend. Ook het ontbijt was werkelijk geweldig: een à-la-carte menu waarvan je zonder extra kosten mocht bestellen. Alles smaakte puur en was met veel liefde bereid. Al met al: een geweldige ervaring! Persoonlijk vond ik het bed wat aan de harde kant.

Le repas pour le dîner a juste été incroyable, la qualité du repas restera dans nos souvenirs. Le petit déjeuner est aussi excellent avec beaucoup de choix et une vue magnifique sur l’Etna pour déguster tout ça.

They welcomed us earlier than expected and allowed us to relax by the pool while our room was being prepared. The breakfast was also excellent – a wide selection and very delicious. The location was perfect, with a great view, a pool, and a spa area But the worst part was the room. The air conditioner barely worked – it was blowing air that was almost as warm as the room itself. The wardrobe doors were sticking and falling apart. There were also a few other issues: loose power sockets, a crooked paper holder, and a leaking shower. On top of that, there was no hot water on the last evening and the following morning. Considering the price, we expected better and these issues were quite disappointing

Lo charm della struttura e l’accoglienza riservataci dal personale hanno reso il nostro soggiorno meraviglioso. Della struttura non può, non piacere nulla, magari, l’unica cosa, per me, era la temperatura dell’acqua della piscina un po’ fredda. Per il resto tutto perfetto.

Platsen är helt enastående – omgivningen är rofylld, naturskön och erbjuder en perfekt balans mellan avkoppling och komfort. Personalen håller en mycket hög servicenivå och bemöter gäster med stor professionalism och värme. Restaurangen är i toppklass, med en skicklig kock som har arbetat här i fyra år. Det märks tydligt att han lägger både hjärta och passion i varje rätt – allt tillagas från grunden med stor omsorg. Frukosten håller samma höga kvalitet och är en upplevelse i sig. Rummen är smakfullt inredda, bekväma och mycket välskötta. Poolområdet är vackert och inbjudande – perfekt för både avkoppling och njutning. Vi vill rikta ett stort tack till hela personalen som gjorde vår vistelse så minnesvärd. Det finns verkligen ingenting att anmärka på – allt var perfekt från början till slut.

- CASSIO LOPES DA SILVA (10/5): Don’t miss it, really great place for a wonderful experience! - The views from the hotel are breathtaking! There is this beautiful valley and at the end of it you can see Mount Etna. Breakfast is excellent, with many products produced on the property, like bread, butter, olive oil. Everything is top quality and fresh. Dinner is an experience you cannot miss! Beautifully presented, sophisticated and delicious. And the staff was incredible; they made the hole experience be very special for us.
