• Alasdair (8/5): - Property was good value, bed very comfortable. Nice warm house. Shared kitchen / livingroom very clean and modern. When I arrived there was mould around base of shower so I put bleach on it and cleaned it, This should have been done by cleaner. The electric shower needs replaced as its intermittent. But at the cost I'd certainly use it again. Fine distance from the town. Oh wifi wasnt really working but that could just be me..
• Richard (4/5): - Cheap but is not a guest house - just a room in a shared house. Access to house and room via digital lock. Clean, but room was very hot and impossible to control temperature.

• Kaye (8/5): Nice to stay - During the peak season, I booked this guest house for two nights. After that, I read all of the horrible reviews, and I was worried about it. But overall its was not that bad. The guesthouse is located near the rail station - it's a 15-minute walk. The residence was very quiet and its near Tesco and Spar. Its also very simple and easy to check in. The room no.5 was spacious and clean with an excellent mattress, clean bed sheet and comfortable duvet. The bathroom was clean. It's not 100% but reasonable. The shower head was leaking, and the water pressure was reduced however the basin, and the toilet bowl was okay. The kitchen is spacious. There is a microwave, kettle and fridge. Despite the reviews, the wifi functioned well. As I said, it's not that bad, and some could even call it a nice residence.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - More of a self serve type of place, but I enjoyed it for the night I was there. When I called to get help with the opening of the door. The man that answered was very kind and helpful. Not as bad as some of the reviews say.
• Per (6/5): - Værelserne var små. I værelserne var der senge, men ingen stole. Der var et fint fælles køkken som kunne bruges, hvis man ikke spiste i byen Stedet ligger god i forhold til centrum af byen.
• Katherine (4/5): - Was not made aware of check in times or procedures. It was very difficult to self check in. Luckily for us the cleaner was in and was courteous enough to let us in and get our room ready first. Really appreciated that. Otherwise, would not book this place again and would most certainly not recommend it.

• Verified traveler (2/5): - NOT GOOD!!!! The image on the web site does not do it justice, no sign, dirty outside with overgrowing bushes and weeds. It took a while to get a room as the code they text me did not open the door but finally I received another. Room was not clean, dirty nets and a blind which was dirty and torn. Toiletries in the bathroom left by someone else NO Breakfast TV did not work No free Wi=Fi. Bathroom. What can I say about the toilet brush WELL!!!! I will just leave it there.
• Nicola (4/5): Give it a miss unless you are desperate - Bed good. Room ok but no milk with the tea and coffee, 1 spoon. Soap only supplied, no shampoo. Kitchen a lovely idea but doors falling off cupboards, dishwasher out of order, only 1 dinner knife and generally tacky. No breakfast and no information where to go to get one. No WiFi password but WiFi should have been available. Plus no information on parking, and residents’ parking only outside. Ok if you arrive after 6pm and leave before 8am. Not one of our better experiences.
• Lana (4/5): - Bed was extremely uncomfortable, I could feel the springs. They advertise free internet but it never worked and could not get any television stations. Bathroom shower did not drain well, so water ran out onto the floor.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - Die Anreise gestalltete sich unkompliziert, die Unterkunft ist leicht zu finden und in der Nähe des Stadtzentrums gelegen. Zu unserem Glück waren die Haushalter in der Unterkunft und haben uns eingelassen sowie die Codes der jeweiligen Zimmer mitgeteilt, denn wie apgesprochen per Mail haben uns diese nicht erreicht, sodass wir andernfalls ein Problem gehabt hätten. Trotzdem war das System mit den Codes kompliziert und nicht ganz gut durchdacht. Die Sauberkeit des Hotels war zufriedenstellend und auch über die Ausstattung lässt sich nicht klagen (Gemeinschaftsküche zum kochen, Handtücher, Fön). Dass die Haushälter eigentlich nicht für Fragen anzutreffen waren, empfanden wir als äußerst unpraktisch und problematisch.
• Verified traveler (4/5): worst stay ever - had to spend ages phoning dead numbers to get in touch with someone to let us in, no parking until after 6pm and before 7am, its just a room the shared kitchen is dirty and smelly, the room was ok but tv didnt work and bed was so cheap and couldnt sleep well. avoid pay a bit more and enjoy inverness

• Verified traveler (6/5): Per coraggiosi campeggiatori - Da evitare come la peste. Hanno cercato di rendersi utili alle nostre lamentele per la sporcizia, innegabile. Ma: il codice di auto check-in era sbagliato e l'ho dovuto indovinare; la biancheria in dotazione era piena di capelli e peli altrui, anche se lavata; I servizi igienici non erano igienici; fredda, e la polvere era una seconda moquette; la porta principale non si chiudeva, chiunque poteva entrare nella casa. La stessa sera altri tre ospiti hanno avuto problemi simili... Per 90€ a notte forse è un po' troppo da sopportare.
• Kelly (2/5): Terrible - slept in our clothes - Terrible - slept in our clothes. Don’t know where to start. Frustrating contact process. Holes in walls, broken wall light, dirty - everything. Would have left but it was a late arrival. Pictures should be updated to reflect real conditions.
• Giorgia (4/5): - la camera, scomoda perché priva di luci ai lati del letto, aveva un bagno privato dal quale però al momento di pulire sono stati tolti e buttati il mio spazzolino e il mio dentifricio, e anch gli asciugamani, che abbiamo dovuto richiedere nuovamente.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Awful condition - I was disappointed that there was mold in shower, hair on sheets, and cobwebs in rooms. This needs updating. Would have gone elsewhere is had stayed longer and had not journeyed for so long.
• donna (2/5): Worst property ever - On our 2 week vacation to the UK, this was one of the worst places I've ever stayed in all my years of traveling. I never received an email from the property til after we got there. When we arrived, we had no idea what room we had. I called 3 different phone numbers and had to leave a message, where no one ever called back. Thank goodness for the housekeeper. She happened to be there and just finished cleaning one of the rooms and gave us the key. The bed was nothing but a double size cot, no t.v., and the bathroom was a joke. The sink had 2 separate faucets, one for hot water and one for cold. The shower was even worse, the faucet wasn't fastened and would constantly fall and the water didn't drain so your feet were in 3 " of water. I suggest you take this facility off your list, as it is not suitable for a vacation.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - A really lovely little b&b in such a great location, right near the lochs and really great pubs - with amazing mountain views! Sheila is lovely and cooks a great breakfast.
• Ray J (2/5): Last choice! - First, if you don’t know what ‘self catering’ means – heads-up. We arrived about 3:30 to drop off our luggage before returning our rental car by 4pm, only to find messages on the door about a ‘key-safe box’ process which would only work after 4 and with a code they had emailed to us. So we had to return our car, find a place to get WiFi, and drag our luggage some 20 minute walk back to the ‘Quest House’ then work our way through the convoluted system to access our keys. The place is filthy! Our room was grubby, with cobwebs in the corners and window curtains stained with what we only hope was chocolate. The on-suite had hair ALL over and mold in the corners of the shower and broken flooring. The electric kettle was left half full of water and had mold above the water line. In the common kitchen downstairs there was a large pile of sheets stacked on the floor. The place was dirty everywhere, there was even garbage in the yard. We never saw an employee.
• Dale (4/5): Self checkin - Self checkin requires guest access to email in the hours before arrival - the email gives detailed steps involved. There is no one on site to let you in. The very least the guest needs is a cell phone to contact reception. None of this is mentioned in booking sites. On arrival, found moist towel hanging near sink. Very little toilet paper. Bring you own toilet paper? Positives: The bedroom was very spacious and clean. Staff when contacted responded quickly. The kitchen is clean and of a good size. The location is quiet with two grocery stores nearby, as well as restaurants. Just a short walk to downtown.
• Peter (6/5): Good location but not very organised and unclean. - Came to the house an hour after the earliest check in time which was 5pm only to find out that the hotel room was still in such a mess. Somebody finally came and sort it out after almost an hour. the “new” sheets were wrinkled and was just put on after few minutes in the wash and tumble dryer! (They were the sheets used by the previous guests in the same room in that same day when they checked out) There’s no reception at the house or anybody who works there. They can only be reached by phone. The guy on the phone offered me a room that is smaller than what I booked for. Beware of the room that says ensuite because it is not! It’s a private bathroom few steps outside the room and a code is needed to open the flimsy door! There is a public kitchen with stuff you can use.
• Heather (8/5): For the price and location I would stay again - I had read the mixed reviews so wasn't expecting to love the place but it was actually ok. I got an email at 13.38 with information on how to acess the room. The place isn't staffed you are given a code to get the key from a box behind the wooden black front door. Once in I headed up to my room, number 2 which is a single room with a shared bathroom. The room was small but well equipped. There was a tv and a kettle and tea and coffee  (only one tea bag etc but there is more in the kitchen downstairs) It was warm and I could adjust the radiator. There was a small towel and toiletries too. The bed was a little creaky but not uncomfortable, however the pillows were very thin, I had to fold them over to make it more comfortable The shared bathroom was clean but it I was surprised to only see 2 toilet rolls. These ran out by morning but I found another on the hall shelves.
• Dirk (6/5): Schöne Gegend, nah der Innenstadt. - Positiv: Eine große Küche die man benutzen durfte. Negativ: Das Zimmer würde währen der gesamten 5 Tage nicht gereinigt. Es gab kein neues Toilettenpapier und nur ein großes Handtuch für 2 Personen. Das Fenster schloss nicht richtig, sehr kalt im Zimmer. Zudem war die Ankunft nicht organisiert, sodass erst eine Reinigungskraft geholt werden musste die das Ziemmer herrichtete. Wir konnten erst nach 17:00 „einziehen“
• Nishant (10/5): Nice place to stay in peace - The Place way Really nice and the City center was 5 min walk and the Kitchen was provided will lot of stuffs so that you can make any thing easily for yourself i would Suggest to have Room No 5 for Best View during the Time of SNOW and Room No 1 or 3 for any Time as these are the best rooms in this Place
• Charles (8/5): Confortable auberge self-service - Il faut savoir qu'il n'y a pas d'employés sur place. Il s'agit d'un auberge "self-service", nous faisons nous-même notre check-in avec les consignes reçus par mail, mais nous ne recevons aucune autre information. Sinon tous le nécessaire est là et même plus. Très confortable et très propre. Seul bémol, la petite inquiétude de ne jamais voir personne et peut-être le matelas qui pourrait être plus confortable.

• Verified traveler (4/5): A night in Inverness - The security was not good. Anybody can enter the house. We were given only one towel however was very dirty. The owner didn't stay there, so i could not get a replacement. Anyway the room was clean.
• marina (10/5): Muy limpio y espacioso - El hotel es realmente limpio, amplio y silencioso, no vimos a nadie del personal en ningún momento pero no hacía falta, la cocina completa y todo muy acogedor, muy recomendable, además estaba a pocos minutos del centro y con un supermercado al lado, único inconveniente el aparcamiento
• L (4/5): Simple guest house close to city centre - Guest house was in a great location being very close to the city centre, with supermarkets within walking distance too. However, room felt more like student accommodation with a lumpy mattress, a shower cubicle from the 70s, and old wall brackets and picture hooks hanging out of the walls in random places. We were there for 3 nights with only enough tea and milk provided for 2 cups. A cheap bar of soap and tiny bottle of conditioner were all that was provided for toiletries. It was definitely a room just to sleep in, not to enjoy!
• Verified traveler (4/5): Cold and unwelcoming - Never saw any staff. Room very very basic no tv cobweb on the ceiling only 2 tea bags and 2 coffee sachets. Will not stay here again.
• Sandra (4/5): Avoid at all costs!! - Main problem lies with the owner/managers attitude towards the guests. The reception system does not work as the entry box code was not sent until the day of my arrival whilst away and without access to my emails. This code should have been sent on booking date. When I arrived late evening, without a code, I could not know which room was allocated to me. I found only one key accessible and therefore could only assume it was intended for my use. In order not to be without a roof for the night, I used that room. On bringing this to the attention of the business once home, the email reception and attitude was appalling. I was told that I should have phoned for assistance. The email was not addressed to my name, just guest. I would never stay here again as I did not feel secure with the front door open to all, yet no one around to speak to. A very cold unprofessional business like approach. Never again. The hotel is in a residential area, which made it hard to find. It needs much attention. The cold tap does not run any water for a bath, is in a poor state of repair. I would strongly advise any prospective guests to avoid this place.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Preis - Leistung in Ordnung - Bei uns hat das mit dem Self Check In leider nicht ganz funktioniert. Personal kam aber binnen 5 min angeradelt und erklärte uns alles. Das Zimmer war sauber, nicht bessonders eingerichtet aber das Bett war bequem. Die Küche war leider ein graus. Von außen sauber, aber Ofen und Microwelle waren sehr dreckig. Für jemanden, der nicht kochen möchte ist es aber ausreichend und es stehen zwei große Kühlschränke zur Verfügung. Alles in Allem ganz OK.

• Claudia (6/5): Zentrale Übernachtungsmöglichkeit - Sehr zentral gelegen, späte Anreise dank Schlüsselkasten problemlos möglich. Gebäude etwas älter, EZ sehr klein, aber gut ausgestattet. Gemeinsames Bad/Wc nicht ganz so sauber. Für eine kurze Übernachtung gut geeignet, für einen längeren Aufenthalt weniger.

• Josep Manel (2/5): Dejado y sucio - No recomiendo este sitio: en los alrededores puedes encontrar otras ofertas de B&B más adecuadas. La mejor definición es que es un sitio sucio y dejado. No hay guesthouse, personal que te atienda. Además tuvimos problemas con la reserva y nos amenazaron un día antes de llegar con cancelar la reserva si no les dábamos los datos de la tarjeta directamente (cosa que no hicimos). También es problemático el tema del parquing, ya que en la calle sólo pueden aparcar los residentes (en otros B&B vimos que se facilitaba a los clientes una tarjeta para poder aparcar en la calle, aquí no, te envian a un pàrquing de centro comercial próximo).
• Verified traveler (8/5): Simple, clean guest house. - It is a clean simple guesthouse, not very expensive. When we arrived we phoned to get the key. There was a specious dining room downstairs for self catering.
• NPJ (2/5): Depressing - The house looks so nice from outside -and the street is too- yet inside the house has been sub-divided into tiny rooms. It is claustrophobic and depressing. The bathroom is shared with 4 other rooms.
• Julie (6/5): No mirror in room but comfy bed. - It was ok as a stop over but there was no mirror in the room to style hair with straighteners. Also the do-called en-suite was across the hall next to the main living area. So not very private. Comply bed though.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Health and Safety need to visit. - Many health and safety issues with electrics and cables under carpets. Security was awful as door left unlocked all night. Would NEVER stay here again.
• Sheila (4/5): Avoid unless desperate - You cannot call this a guest house, it is a glorified bunk house. No staff on site. My confirmation stated en suite facilities, but they we're separate with a key to let yourself in. The bedroom door had to be opened from inside with key and the lower windows did not open . This was a fire safety concern. There was a mish mash of furniture with a box of clothes left in a wardrobe. No bedside light. The web site stated residents bar, that didn't exist. If you want breakfast, take your own. Torn carpet in kitchen area. Horrible jar full of cigarette ends in full view outside patio door, garden neglected. It was within walking distance of city centre but noisy after bedtime, it was a Saturday to be fair.
• Zoe (8/5): Bunillidgh House. - It was a decent tidy place to stay. Near to amenity. Near Eden Court theatre, and the shops. And a local bakery! Freshly made pastry and bread in the morning! If you want the larger food retailers they are in walking distance. If you want to be near Bught Park and the leisure centre you are about 15 mins walk away!

• Verified traveler (4/5): Very disappointing and not even breakfast? - I booked the room based on the location to the city centre. The code was not sent to me to be able to access the keys and it was from this point that the stay began to worry me. I stayed in room one which doesn't feature in the photos. After rearranging the bed so we could access it from either side I noticed that you couldn't lock the bedroom door from the inside. Thanks for leaving a small table to ensure our security! I'd very much say that this guest house is a work in progress. The bathroom was clean, but one towel for 2 people is a bit tight! Plus you really should have a TV in each room. I really don't think the price I paid was worth it and I would suggest you sort out a lock for the room and a sliding bolt for the bathroom on the inside would make like a lot easier.
