Guest Reviews
- Andrei (10/5): -
- Edward (1/5): -
- Tiana (1/5): - It absolutely stunk when we got there booked 2 rooms and only got 1 with a double bed
- jagruti (2/5): Very disappointed. - The property was smelly, dirty and dusty. The area was rough. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this property.
- Reece (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ieuan (4/5): Poor apartment. - Not a lot. Not very clean. Terrible location. Neighbourhood really rough.
- Louise (4/5): Disappointing - No breakfast,
- Claude (5/5): Passable - The price was good. The noise from the apartment was a problem, the flooring is not sond proof. You can hear all people walking around the apartment above from the studio apartment. And the toilet when flushing comes up the shower tray outlet and smells.
- Louis (7/5): Good -
- Taidgh (7/5): Good for what you pay for - Clean, modern, very close to a few shops. It's good for the price. The area wasn't too nice but we didn't mind as we just wanted somewhere cheap to stay. Communication via txts were not answered but just call the number and was answered straight away.
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Rob (1/5): Really awful and disappointing. I was travelling with my teenage son and he was horrified by where we ended up having to - Nothing. The property I paid for was changed on the day and when we arrived it was in the basement of a terraced house in the middle of a run down really rough part of the city. It was disgusting. Location - moved from an apparent me t to a grubby basement of a terrace house in a run down, council estate
- Thomas (8/5): Very good -
- Reanne (2/5): Very poor - Lockbox for the key - however, had to chase for the key code as it wasn't actually sent through as it had mentioned it would be. There was a strange odour in the apartment. It was in a rough looking area. It wasn't very nice.
- Nikita (7/5): Good - It was a bit hard to find. But lovely once inside There was no cups for a coffee in the morning
- Emily (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (1/5): Awful stay - Broken window, broken chairs, no hot water, stains on walls from leaks, mucky plates in cupboards, getting relocated to a different apartment as someone else was in this one. There were no fire alarms they had been removed
- Tedros (10/5): Exceptional -
- Qassim (3/5): much like a hostel stay in Albania - short notice appointment Door handles missing, large pieces of plaster missing from walls and very large cracks in the ceiling, cigarette burns in the sofa, iron burn marked carpets, toilet seat fell off
- Rob (6/5): Not quite as good as the pictures suggest. - Apartment not as it appears in the pictures. It was ok. But certainly not luxury. Was ok as a place to rest your head, but wouldn’t stay there again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - A friend and I recently stayed 5 nights at the Shaftsbury Apartments in the Harehills area of Leeds and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The apartment is actually a house with a separate basement flat - we only rented the house, which can sleep up to five people. On the ground floor is an open-plan kitchen/diner and living room with a HUGE sofa and smart tv with Netflix etc. On the first floor is a bedroom with 3 single beds and a bathroom with bath and separate shower. Up another flight of stairs is an attic double-bedroom and a second toilet. All the facilities available (fridge, cooker, washing machine, microwave) were in good order and the property was clean and well presented. Dean (landlord) made sure that we had access when we arrived and was very keen to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.
The apartments are close to the A64 York road, which makes them ideal if you want to get out and about but it is either a car trip or bus ride if you want to get into Leeds. We drove to the (excellent) park and ride but there are plenty of buses along York Rd which run into the city. Nearby is also an Asda supermarket and plenty of takeaways with a good choice of different types of food. Parking is on-street, we were always able to park right outside the house so taking luggage in/out wasn't a problem. The only thing I would call out is that the stairs are quite steep so take take when going up/down with bags etc.
- Verified traveler (8/5): CLean house - Nice and clean
- Syed (10/5): - To be honest I don't believe the second last review to be true ,you can check in late ,lock was easy to open with just 4 digit code, very co-operative management, nice and clean appartment ,we were not expecting such an excellent 5 star appartment in Leeds ,would highly recommend to everyone as you won't regret and will keep booking again and again whenever coming to Leeds.
Very thankful for making our trip to Leeds awesome and wonderful.
