Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent.
- Juliet (10/5): Excellent. Just what was needed! - A lovely warm welcome from Vicky and her gorgeous dogs. A sweet cosy “shabby chic” bedroom with a lovely view over her colourful garden. A shared bathroom but no problem and the treat of a delicious breakfast cooked by Vicky who seemed like a long lost friend rather than a land lady.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - it was a very small room in a three bedroomed home. We had to share the bathroom with the owner and another guest. Far too expensive for what it was and not close to Oxford centre.
- Joanne (8/5): Thanks - It was a comfortable stay with great advice from our host.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Feels like being with your favourite auntie in a big comfortable bed, fresh milk for my tea and a lovely breakfast menu
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We loved our landlady, Vicky and her gorgeous little dog, Genevieve. It is a quirky property and you feel very much like you are staying in someone's much-loved home. It is all very relaxed though, which made our stay particularly pleasant. The property is ideally located for visits to Oxford's city centre. It would have been nice to have a TV in our room and the shared bathroom can pose challenges at 'rush-hour', but all in all, we had a lovely overnight stay.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Tasty breakfast. Room was small, but adequate. Bed was comfy.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice place - Small rooms but nice B+B good breakfast.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice and clean B&B - Our hostess made us feel at home from the start. We had a very quick one night but most appreciated the attention, comfortable bed, and the delicious breakfast. Overall very enjoyable.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Cosy B+B in Oxford - Wonderful B+B, very helpful and friendly owner, comfortable bed, spotless room and amazing coddled egg for breakfast!!
- Andrea (10/5): More like a lovely little boutique hotel... - Definitely the absolute best value for money I could have spent locally. Vicky was very welcoming and accommodating and the breakfast was exquisite.
I honestly can not recommend The Terrace highly enough. For the price you pay you simply won’t get better locally and you won’t be disappointed.
When I’m next in Oxford this will definitely be my place to stay of choice.
- Nigel (8/5): Quirky and cheerful - Enjoyed my nights stay despite my initial disappointment about not having an ensure (my fault not the guest house’s) Comfortable room and a reasonable breakfast. In a good location just outside central Oxford
- RJ (10/5): Friendly, friendly, friendly - Warm welcome, comfortable and very clean, excellent value for money.
- Lucy (10/5): Terrace - Lovely, ideal location for work, Vicky and Genevieve lily were excellent hosts, room comfy and warm
- Peter Bostock (8/5): Oxford retreat - A very reasonable and comfortable place to stay convenient and quiet location.
Vicky is a very obliging and lively hostess.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Short stay - Nice cosy room, quiet surroundings. The room is a little small but adequately comfortable.
- Tyler (8/5): Nice, quiet BnB. - Nice little B 'n B in a residential neighborhood. Quiet, calm. Very nice host and full breakfast. Nice breakfast. A bit of a walk to the University but not too far. Small room--as typical for Europe.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Attractive room in a house with very convenient access to Oxford city center. Delicious breakfast! Host was quite helpful in working out plans for excursions in the area.
- Auric (8/5): Great location - Vicky is a delightful hostess. Great breakfast. Charming small Edwardian terraced house.
- Verified traveler (10/5): A Quaint place to stay - This is a handy and well located place to stay.
