Guest Reviews
- David (8/5): -
- Myriam (9/5): - All the staff is very nice and convenient.
- chiara (10/5): Tutto perfetto! Colazione ottima.

- j0syan7 (10/5): Amazing stay, even-more amazing staff!! - Me and my mum stayed for a few nights when visiting Marrakesh, the staff could not be more helpful! Really friendly and we just felt at home!!
The room was brilliant, clean and authentic.
It took us around a 10 minute walk to get to the Jemaa El-Fnaa square, and there is a taxi rank 100m which provided us with easy links to the other side of town. The staff were happy to book us a fixed price taxi to the airport from this square.
I have a gluten intolerance and it was no trouble for them to provide an alternative breakfast for me, which I have struggled with abroad previously
I cannot recommend this Riad enough! We will definitely be back!!
Thank you and your staff for a lovely stay xx
- cianerin (10/5): Authentic Moroccan experience - A fantastic Moroccan oasis. Staff were fantastic told us it was our home while in Marakesh, nothing was ever a problem they went above and beyond. Rooms had a true Moroccan vibe. Breakfast on the rooftop was lovely each morning. Location was great close to souks restaurants and squares.
Paolo booked us a Hamman and massage at Alphais spa prior to arrival, which was an incredible experience.
Rooms were cleaned and fresh towels every day
- clairebraybrook (8/5): Beautiful Riad, great location and friendly staff. - Beautiful Riad, perfectly located for exploring Marrakech Medina. They arranged transport to and from the airport included in our stay and kindly agreed to change our room when we mentioned that the bathroom drains in our first room smelt bad and made the entire room smell. Our replacement room was delightful and the bed very comfortable. The only negative was the pillows as they were too hard and full and made my neck hurt, but that’s more of a personal preference. The room was spotlessly clean and serviced everyday. The breakfast was nice and service was great. Ishmael in particular was really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
- Claire (9/5): Very enjoyable experience at Riad 58. Decor is gorgeous, breakfast is good and staff lovely. Location excellent for expl - Great location. Lovely room (Diamanté) and staff were so friendly and helpful. Especially Ishmael, who really went out of his way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Only thing I didn’t like was the pillows were too hard and plump. Gave me neck ache.
- Marta (9/5): Kilka dni super pomocna obsługa gospodarz az trudno uwierzyc ze tak pomocni sa. - Gospodarz i obsługa. Bardzo uprzejmi, w lot doradzali i pomagali. Wyprzedzali myśli. Odrobinę mały pokój mieliśmy. Ale czysty i przyjemny. Piękny taras za to nad pokojem
- joanneu446 (10/5): A Getaway to remember forever! - This was our first trip to Morocco and it didn’t disappoint.
The Riad 58 Blu is a charming Riad in the Medina, perfectly placed for access to all the attractions.
We were transferred by taxi to a small drop off area, very close to the Riad. This proved to be an asset when booking excursions as it was so easy to find for pick ups. The taxi driver, arranged by EasyJet, called ahead and we were met by the Manager who showed us the short distance to our accommodation. Our room was on the top floor and had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. We even had a table outside our room which was laid up for breakfast the next morning.
I had booked half board and the food was amazing! Evening meal comprised of a wonderful salad, followed by a tagline with chicken or lamb, beautifully cooked with tasty vegetables and plenty of it! We took the fruit from dinner and had it with yogurt and honey at breakfast, which was also very tasty. The staff at the Riad were so friendly and helpful, especially Ishmael who gave us lots of information of where to go and what to see; nothing was ever too much trouble. He made our stay very memorable with his friendly conversation and service. The room was small but so pretty and kept very clean and tidy by the cleaning ladies.
I would definitely recommend Riad 58 Blu as a base to explore the city.
Also, you must book a sunrise hot air balloon ride which was the highlight of our stay. A magical experience!
- 802carolineb (10/5): Wonderful place - What a lovely place. My daughter and I spent 3 nights here. We received a very warm and friendly welcome. We stayed in Diamond room which was spacious and very clean. The room was cleaned daily with clean towels and topped up toiletries tea coffee etc.
All the staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Big thanks to Ismail.
The food was delicious with choices for breakfast and evening, bottled water was available. All served under a pergola on roof terrace.
The Riad is situated in the heart of the Medina, up a side street, at night it’s quiet.
We felt safe walking around.
Lots of hustle and bustle when walking through the souks and markets.
But we really enjoyed the experience.
Thank you for a wonderful stay
Mrs Flowers 😂
- staffian (10/5): Absolutely Perfect - Stayed here for 5 nights. It might look like it’s off the beaten track when you first get here, but you’ll soon learn you are perfectly placed. It’s spotlessly clean and so relaxing here. It’s situated about 200m from the Markets down some back alleys - DO NOT LET THIS PUT YOU OFF. It is really safe in Marakkesh, my wife and I felt really safe. The locals are just so friendly, got asked many times if we needed directions - I would be happy if my teenage daughters decided to come here.
THE ROOM
We stayed in Angel (Blue) Room. It’s probably the smallest room in the Riad, but plenty of space for two. Bed was REALLY comfy, we had our own private balcony. We were on the 2nd floor, but the stairs were fine. Room cleaned every day and new towels.
THE STAFF
Outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble Ismail is worth his weight in gold. He managed to sort us a bottle of wine each night for us to enjoy on the balcony
BREAKFAST
Fresh Moroccan breads, jams, joghurt, fresh juice and coffee all served under the pergola
LOCATION
Right in the heart of the Medina, but far enough away that it’s really quiet and peaceful. Pharmacy less than 50m away if you should need it. Try Pepe Nero Restaurant - it’s quite pricey, but the food, location and service was outstanding
THE MEDINA / MARKETS
It’s an experience that’s for sure !!
Be prepared to haggle - a lot ! However it’s all in good natured. Just follow your nose and you’ll find some real bargains
TRIPS / EXCURSIONS
We did 3. All booked through Get My Guide App (download it if you haven’t already). Food Tour - it’s a must. Sampled lots of diffferent dishes in places that we’d never have found. 10/10
Camels, Sunset, Fire Show - average at best for us, others loved it
Cooking Class - loved it. Made some great tagines that we can definitely copy at home 10/10
RESTAURANTS / ALCOHOL
Many do serve alcohol, many don’t. You’ll easily find the ones that do !! You can’t just buy alcohol in a shop. Restaurants and Riads only
Overall, we’ve had a wonderful stay at Riad 58 Blu and would definitely recommend it as a perfect location to stay at to explore the wonderful, crazy city that is Marrakech
- Ghislaine (10/5): - Le cadre et l'emplacement Chambre trop près du salon,on entendait ceux qui venaient discuter tard
- Matthew and Jane (10/5): An idyllic Riad - The staff were very helpful. The Riad is a very relaxing retreat extremely close to the very lively centre of Marrakech. The breakfast was a real treat. Everywhere was really clean and comfortable Nothing
- suegresty (10/5): A gem of a Riad with friendly and helpful staff. - What a find, a perfect relaxing get away. In a quite neighborhood but very close to the main centre, (5 minute walk). The owner and staff were all friendly and went out of their way to make sure that we go the most out of our stay. The room was very clean and comfortable helped by a modern air con unit. Breakfast was plentiful with Moroccan breads. All in all I would return here in a heartbeat and recommend to friends.
- Mona (6/5): - Average stay. Spacious room, but noisy aircon, the Wi-Fi is unusable—very slow and constantly disconnects. The pool is tiny—more like a water feature. Not in a good area of Medina. Breakfast is average.
- TravellingTina1 (10/5): A real gem - The Riad is a sanctuary to return to after a busy day in the medina and souks. Very quiet, with only 5 rooms. The staff are fantastic, helpful and we felt so safe that we left our room key with them when we went out for the day. It’s only a short walk into the medina. Our room (Angel) had shower gel and cotton buds, a hair dryer and tea and coffee facilities and we were always given free bottles of water. Breakfast is a nice selections of breads, pancakes, yogurt and omlette on request. We would recommend this riad to anyone.
- JEAN LUC (10/5): Super..
Nichts
- hilaryc321 (10/5): A warm welcome at an elegant riad in the heart of the medina - My husband and I had a heavenly few days staying at the Riad 58 Blu. It is such a peaceful oasis in the heart of the medina in Marrakech and instantly relaxing. Our room (Emerald) was spacious and very comfortably laid out, with lovely attention to detail. Breakfasts on the 2nd floor were a real treat each morning, especially when Raja the pet tortoise was there to greet us - simple but enough to start the day and the freshly squeezed orange juice was to die for. Youssef, Ismail and Paulo were so warm and welcoming and big credits also go to the cleaning and catering team, not to be forgotten! Brilliant location within walking distance of all the main sights and a plunge pool to dip into at the end of hot days in the souks. Highly recommended.
- Solly900 (10/5): 3 nights in Marrakesh - A fabulous place to stay, Paolo and his team were welcoming, polite and very helpful. nothing was too much trouble.
The room was clean and air conditioned, the breakfast on the roof terrace was delicious.
The location was perfect for us. When we return to Marrakesh we will definitely be staying here again
Martin & Roxanne
- annwex (10/5): First time visitors to Marrakech - Great Riad in the old town. We landed late and Ismail had arranged for a taxi to collect us- also arranged a taxi for the day we departed - all included in our booking.
Our room was nice and spacious for 3 and was spotless. Breakfast was served every morning on the terrace which was lovely. Tea/ coffee, fresh orange juice, bread , cheese, omelette, pancakes and Nutella.
Ismail was very helpful with suggestions on what to do in Marrakech - places to visit , restaurants and what we should expect to pay for taxis etc.
The plunge pool was a welcome sight and a great place to cool down after exploring the city in 40 + degrees heat.
I would recommend a stay here for any visitors to Marrakech.
- Orla (10/5): - This Riad is in a great location, close to the main square (15 minutes walk away) . It's a hidden gem down an alley. The staff are very friendly and professional. Ismael was so good with tips, recommendations and arranged a taxi from the airport and again when we were leaving. He even offered to walk us to a meeting point when we had an early pick up to do a hot air balloon trip over the desert. It gets quite hot in Marrakech so having a pool to cool down in was really great after walking around the Medina. The Riad is very clean and comfortable.
- Orlakav68 (10/5): Highly recommended for location and hospitality - Ismail was super friendly and full of tips and recommendations. He organised a transfer to and from the Riad at either end of our stay free of charge. We booked a large room with a double and single bed as 3 of us. It was spacious and clean with breakfast served on the rooftop terrace. Watch out for Raja their pet tortoise. Beautiful Riad located 15 minutes walk from the main square. As 3 women we felt safe wandering around. A dip in the pool was a welcome treat returning from our trips exploring the souks and the Medina.
- Oehley (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful, spotless, central. Fabulous service-Ismail was beyond helpful. Food was delicious. Lots of added helpful extras like taxi to/from airport, boarding cards printed etc.
- David (10/5): - I had the pleasure of staying here twice during my vacation. A beautiful riad in the heart of the Medina offering an authentic feel. On my first day a member of staff told me the riad is not a regular hotel where guests stay in their rooms, it is a home where people can relax and socialize while feeling at ease. It truly felt this way. Thank you for making my Vacation in Morocco so memorable.
- Carole (10/5): Super Riad, charming, great staff. - Amazing good, friendly, helpful owner and staff. My 2nd time here.. they couldnt do enough for you. Hospitality at its best!
Lovely downstairs suite room with settee.
Beautiful stained glass in windows, doors.
Found it relaxing and delightfully quiet at night.
Good evening meals. Would highly recommend. nil
- David (10/5): - Beyond expectations. Rooms are spacious, clean, and beautiful. Staff are amazing, very helpful and go above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable during your stay. Great price for what you receive in return!
- bootsymrs (10/5): Fantastic little find - Fantastic little find, we arrived late greeted by lovely man who said he’d make us something to eat , didn’t expect it, don’t be fooled he charged us 8 quid each for an omelette which so salty couldn’t eat it
Any how
Showed us room it was amazing
Looking at it same room as picture we were hoping to get
This hotel is not for anyone with mobility issues
Stairs to the top are steep and stone
Room lovely clean immaculate
Hairdryer etc toiletries towels water small bottle
We had our own terrace n top hotel is a roof terrace with 2 loungers
Ground floor small plunge pool very good hot days sit it
It’s not swim as it’s small
It’s reminded me n my friend of a quaint BB , very traditional
Staff amazing honestly couldn’t do enough for you
I will remind you that there is a room tax
This was not mentioned to us when we arrived or by tour operator easy jet
Pay when you leave
Do make sure u have cash
There is small walk into the madina through the small ally ways see loads cats n kittens stray well looked after by locals plenty mopeds n bikes be careful
I can honestly say we were so safe did not at any point feel unsafe walking through the day or at night
Oh I can just point out the hotel door is locked st night but it’s manned 24 hours just push bell n someone open door u
Alcohol there none in shops etc
So if u like tipple buy it on the plane or airport
There are restaurants not many serve alcohol if they do they tend to be upstairs out way n be prepared walk n they are expensive too like home prices uk
Food not spicy as u would expect if u like spice u need to tell them n they add it
- Kerrieja (10/5): Beautiful, peaceful authentic Riad in the heart of Marrakech - Just got back from a 4 night stay in this beautiful Riad.
Nothing was too much trouble for Ishmael, he came and met us when we arrived which we were so grateful for as when you first turn up in Marrakech it is very overwhelming due to traffic with mopeds and tuktuks everywhere and the surrounding area is quite run down which is normal for Marrakech, but don’t let it put you off. The Riad is so peaceful, beautiful and authentic.
Breakfast was good and set us up for day.
Great location for exploring the medina, souks and surrounding area.
- aimeea843 (10/5): 10/10! Fantastic experience - We really enjoyed our stay here! From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The riad itself is beautiful. It is small so feels homely, with a beautiful terrace and plunge pool area. The breakfast was delicious. We had a few early day trips booked but Ismail and Yousef kindly catered to this by providing breakfast before the usual hours. Both of these members of staff were absolutely fantastic, making sure we were enjoying ourselves and giving recommendations to avoid scams/ advising things to see. The riad is also located in a great location so we could easily walk to all the sites! Thank you so much!
- Shansky (9/5): Superb - Delicious!
- Barney026 (10/5): Fantastic! - We had a fantastic stay in this lovely Riad.
From the minute we walked through the door the staff couldn’t do enough for us - a special thank you to Ishmael who went out of his way to help in any way he could.
We stayed in the Emerald suite which was spacious, tastefully decorated and really clean.
We cannot recommend this Riad enough.
- Carmel (9/5): Superb - Lovely Riad bordering the old Medina, so allowing easy access to the hustle and bustle of the old city, but far enough for it to be quiet at night.
The Riad is beautifully decorated and charming with a good breakfast.
Ismael is full of energy and extremely helpful organising activities and taxis
- barclay116 (6/5): Part of the Moroccan experience, but not for us unfortunately - Private transfer dropped us at the end of the alley and Paolo met us after a short wait in the car. He was very helpful, showed us a map, checked us in- and brought water and mint tea after we asked. The room itself (Gold) was lively, spacious, bright and airy, but the Riad is too noisy. Scraping of chairs every morning on tbe rooftop/terrace, the door buzzer at night as it's the only way to get in, and we could hear every word everyone said morning and night. We had breakfast one morning, it was pure sugary goods, and we were advised the gas had just gone so he had to change it- we had asked the times of breakfast and was told to go up whenever we wanted. It wasn't something I would eat again, we only had breakfast once in the 4 mornings we were there. The tv didn't work properly, even Paolo struggled to use it when we arrived. We also weren't informed about cleaning or check out times, and the staff were hard to find at most times. They are very, very helpful when you do see them, but we would prefer a more formal/organised set up. On checkout, we were given the city tax bill, paid and waited for change- and the member of staff didn't have any change to give us, this is very hard to believe for a fully functioning business. He tried to give us 2 American dollar bills, knowing we are from the UK and these would not be of any use to us, so we left them with him. It is part of the experience, very well located, but definitely more of a UK 'B&B' set up than a hotel. The pool wasn't big enough to get in and the area is a bit too close for comfort so we didn't try it.
- janetU9563HA (10/5): A haven of tranquility - My partner and I stayed in this beautiful riad for 7 nights and had an amazing time. Riad 58 Blu is tucked away down an alley about a 10 minute walk away from the main square and a 2 minute walk away from a taxi/pick up point and convenience stores. It’s perfectly situated to get away from the Marrakech madness after a day walking round the medina.
We stayed on the top floor in the blue Angel room and we were served a delicious Moroccan breakfast every morning just outside our room on the veranda by the riads’s cheery staff. They were all amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. (Even popping out to get us coca-cola when we couldn’t find an open shop🙈❤️).
We booked with easyJet and were met up by the riad staff at the pick up point so didn’t have the worry of finding the riad in the dark.
Our room, although small, was perfect for our needs. The shower worked well, tea and coffee making facilities were provided and the bed was comfortable.
The staff are what make this riad special, all of them are so helpful and appear happy in their work. We briefly saw the owner as we were going out for the day.
If we were ever to visit Marrakech again we would not hesitate to book this riad. We feel we had a proper Moroccan experience and I intend to recommend it to any friends who are considering a holiday in this mind-blowing city. Thankyou Riad 58 Blu for making our holiday special 🇲🇦❤️
- O8348SFjohng (10/5): Brilliant location in a fantastic city. - Lovely stay in beautiful Riad. Clean and welcoming. Perfect rooms in an ideal location. We walked everywhere. Marrakesh is a must visit. We will be back in the future. Loved the experience.
Manager Ishmael particularly helpful and friendly.
- stephenpW9086JK (8/5): Lovely Traditional Riad - This traditional Riad is tucked away in a quiet part of town just away from the hustle and bustle of the Medina. There are just 5 individual rooms split over 3 floors. Our room on the ground floor was clean comfortable and spacious. Our hosts Omar and Smile looked after us. We were on half board special thanks to the cook and Smile who served us lovely home cooked meals on the terrace. Our only comment would be on the breakfast which was the same each day with no options. However this did not spoil our wonderful break in this beautiful Riad. 4.5/5
- Freedom39985525057 (10/5): A Wonderful Stay in Old Town!! - This place was a delight! The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. We especially enjoyed breakfast on the terrace. The proprietor was ready to help with our needs and organized a delightful private tour to introduce us to the city. The locations we great, it allowed us to easily walk through much of Old Town (we're also walkers). I would highly recommend a stay here! Thanks for the hospitality!

- 893katherinee (10/5): Wonderful! - We had a wonderful stay at Riad 58 Blu.. Ishmail was the most fabulous host , always smiling and happy to help along with Paolo who ensured we were very well looked after with pre booking & recommending the most fabulous Hammam along with a great guide, ensuring we were fed on the evening of our late arrival .. gorgeous breakfast on a pretty terrace , great location to explore Marrakech
The rooms are gorgeous , each one different within in the Riad , warm on chilly nights and always a pleasure to return to ..
Would most definitely stay here again and recommend !
- HeleninLisboa (10/5): A 'home away from home' in Marrakech - It's a cliched phrase, but a 'home away from home' is what this riad was for us. It was our first visit to Marrakech and we were made so welcome, so comfortable and so well cared for that we simply loved our visit. Ismael runs the riad and is one of the loveliest people you could hope to meet. He treated us like family right from the start. None of the other riads we stayed in during our trip came anywhere close to the hospitality we got from Ismael. Communication with Paolo before our arrival was efficient and very helpful. He organized our tours, transport and extra meal requests very well. You will not go wrong staying in this comfortable riad with Ismael and Paolo taking care of you.
- Melissa (10/5): Exceptional -

- DrewTong1993 (10/5): “Ali Baba!” - We stayed for five nights in February 2025 – writing this from the airport on our way home.
The riad strikes a perfect balance: close enough to the main square to walk yet tucked away to ensure quiet, peaceful nights. Security is never a concern; we always felt safe. Our room was immaculate on arrival and maintained daily. We enjoyed the pancake breakfast each morning, complete with the gentle chirp of birds, and evenings were cool and dark, with air conditioning available if required.
The highlight is the staff – Ismail, Ikram, Hamila, and Omar. From the moment we arrived, Ismail’s warm welcome – noting our weariness – set the tone, and his hospitality remained constant. I’ll miss being called “Ali Baba” tomorrow! Conversations over breakfast with guests from around the globe added to the charm. A superb retreat after a hectic Marrakchi day.
- joc734 (10/5): Lovely Riad great location wonderful staff - This is a lovely authentic Riad to stay in.
Ishmael, our host, his deputy and the breakfast staff are so welcoming & helpful, nothing is too much trouble.
Great location and a short walk to the main square where you’ll find restaurants and shops.
Nice rooms. Nice breakfast
Would highly recommend
- Gillian (9/5): Great stay in a fab location, just a shame about the smell of cigarette smoke each evening that permeated the room - Lovely staff and great location The smell of cigarette smoke in the room every evening
- carsu2019 (10/5): Perfect stay in Marrakech - I booked a few nights in Marrakech as a birthday surprise for my wife & chose 58 Blu based on reviews here. I can only echo these positive views & say that hands-down, this was one of the best stays we’ve experienced anywhere. 58 Blu is a lovely small Riad in the south of the medina & within easy walking distance from Jma el Fnaa & all the souks etc. We had the cosy/traditional blue room just below the roof terrace, but what really makes this place is the generosity & hospitality of the hosts. A special mention has to go to Ismael who was so kind to both of us during our stay & treated my wife to flowers & a cake on her birthday (& thanks for the Gnawa cd!). The ladies who prepared our breakfast every day were smiley & lovely and Youssef was super-friendly & especially helpful with our return transfer. If/when we ever return to Marrakech, we will definitely be staying at 58 Blu.
- Karen (10/5): Great stay in a comfortable and welcoming environment - Close to all of the sites of old town but in a peaceful and quiet location. Room was big and comfortable, very clean, fresh towels and a relaxing place to be after a busy day walking the souk and busy squares. Lovely rooftop view. Staff, especially Ismail, were so helpful and friendly, giving us a map and suggested places of interest. Ismail also walked us to get to our pick up point for a balloon ride at about 6am in the morning even though it was freezing cold. His advice on where to eat was spot on too. Riad close to restaurants. Would definitely stay again.
- Martina (9/5): Superb - Communication was prompt and easy, the airport transfer went smoothly, the Riad was clean and comfy. Ismael, the host, was welcoming and always ready to go the extra mile. Thank you for having us!
- Mackenzie (9/5): I loved my stay at Riad 58 Blu! The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and the location is perfect. - Beautiful facilities and extremely friendly staff. A little loud at night.
- Edward (10/5): - Amazing facility and staff!
Best to pre-arrange transportation . Even local drivers can’t find.
But once you’re at this oasis it’s a wonderful experience!
- Yvonne (10/5): Would recommend staying here for a real Marrakech welcome! - Breakfast was good and served in a timely, friendly way. The location was great for getting to the Souks and places of interest. Nothing, everything was good. All the staff, Ishmail in particular were brilliant, not forgetting Paolo, young man on reception and house keeping staff. Thank you for making us feel so welcome!
- Thomas (10/5): A calm oasis in the heart of Marrakesh. - A fabulous place to stay in Marrakesh. Great location and super friendly helpful staff. Would definitely recommend!! Nothing
- Madhu (9/5): A perfect restful stay in the heart of Marrakech - The best part of the stay was the hospitality of Ishmail. He was so welcoming and helpful. Great conversation and recommendations. A great way to experience Marrakech
- Sergi (9/5): At the heart of old town Marrakech. - It really is located at the heart of old town Marrakech, at a stone's throw from Jemaa el Fna. The building is gorgeous and the staff is extremely helful. We are very grateful to them, since there was a problem with our reservation which was my fault and they very graciously solved it. The breakfast is exquisite. And the transfer to the airport is free (one way). Nothing.
- James (10/5): Everything you need from a place in Marrakech!! - As with most Riads, this gem is stuck down an unassuming back alley, but what a place this is. Only 5 rooms so it feels intimate, and Ismail the host could not be a better example of how to really run a place properly. He really couldn’t do enough for you and is extremely kind and funny. The Riad is in the perfect location, seconds from some great restaurants and less than a 10 min stroll to the Market. That alone would bring me back, but Ismail was the icing on the cake. Don’t miss this place, you won’t regret it. Ismail the host is simply the best
- Renee (10/5): Exceptional - Our stay in riad 58 blu was magical! Ismail was our best friend during our trip, he helped us with everything that we needed, all of the staff were exceptional and felt like friends. If we ever come back to Marrakech, this is the place we will be staying at.
- Unah (10/5): Ideal stay in an authentic riad with perfect hosts - Excellent location. The room and the courtyard of the road are spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated; the courtyard feels like a small palace, so peaceful even though it’s right in the heart of Marrakesh. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was everything we wanted and more; Ismail was an incredibly friendly and attentive host and we cannot thank him enough for making our stay so enjoyable There was a damp smell in the bathroom due to a lack of an extractor fan but there is a small window in the bathroom to help
- Marley (8/5): - The property was comfortable and we really felt like home. The highlight of our stay was breakfast on the rooftop and visiting the tortoise who lives there!
The staff here was excellent and provided some of the best service I've ever experienced. I hope to return one day!
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional - EVERYTHING..😁😁
HIGHLY recommended.. 😁😁
Would 💯 stay again..😁😁 No full length mirror in the room.
- Zbynek (4/5): Disappointing -
- Tini (9/5): Go there and enjoy the beautiful riad, but bring good earplugs 😉 - Youssef & Ismael were so kind and helpful, the riad was beautiful and the location close to every corner of the city. Not the best riad if you’re a light sleeper, though. You can overhear conversations in the patio and the door can only be opened by ringing a doorbell - which you hear throughout the entire riad.
- Gerrich (10/5): Exceptional - Our first time in Morocco. Everything was great. The staff, Ismael and Yussuf, were very friendly and help you with everything. The riad is clean, with beautiful decoration. Also very quiet. One day we will return. Thanks for everything. Nothing.
- Joana (9/5): Thank you for everything! - Everyone was super kind and nice. I liked the breakfast. Is located in a small corner but its ok if you don’t come late
- Priit (9/5): Riad 58 Blu - great place to stay in Marrakech! - I would say that for me everything was great in Riad 58 Blue. Friendly and helpful host, property is good looking and clean, well located. After walking in Medina or teking a tour to Atlas mountains one could cool down in small pool. Breakfast was good and with a longer stay an airport transfer is included (check it before), which is very convenient. So...I would suggest this place.
- Dennis (10/5): Nice - It was great! Pool needs cleaning.
- Elena (10/5): Exceptional -
- Caroline (8/5): Well looked after at a comfortable and central riad. - Great welcome from the team at Riad 58. Well located. Plentiful local breakfast, endless mint tea at any time. Helpful and swift communications. Thank you. Large double bed would have been good. Pool more of an ornamental feature rather than functional pool.
- Sue (8/5): Very traditional riad, amazing hosts. Lovely roof top terrace. - The staff were fantastic, really went the extra mile A little noisy but not the fault of the accommodation more other guests. The rooms were not sound proof due to the style. Also advertised a swimming pool but more of an ornamental pond.
- Yvonne (8/5): Good value excellent staff - Very nice staff rooms clean and comfortable Drain smell sometimes
- Cdm1612 (10/5): Exceptional - A little jewel in the core of the medina.
Paolo has been a great host and Ismail a good manager.
We have been like at home.
Very clean and cozy rooms.
Good breakfast.
- wendy (8/5): - Extremely friendly and helpful in everything. Nothing too much trouble, ask and you will get... except for when they ran out of beer and white wine. The riad very close to everything for walking to the square, souks, palace etc.
Our downside was the noise, we were on ground floor, a lovely room, but heard every noise from people above us as the floors are tiled you can hear everything and in the other rooms because it echoes everywhere. You wait for the final lock on the main front door so we knew everyone was back.! Then, the mosquito comes back!! It was usually about after 3pm we got to sleep, then woken up by the cleaners about 7.30. 😕 There is the Lovely sun terrace, and a terrace for eating or a bit of chill time with a beer or wine. The front door was just round the corner from us so heard all the comings and goings even very late at night and early morning for people going to hot air balloon flights, we had a mosquito in our room which was annoying, most nights didn't get to sleep till after 2pm. Breakfast was boring and the same each time..too much bread for us. The cat bit my hand at breakfast! wouldn't leave us alone. Felt exhausted after our 4 night break and just wanted to get back to my own bed.
- Maska1 (10/5): excellent riad in central location - Location of riad was perfect, central medina in short walking distance to main attractions. Smiley, as he requested to be named, was an exceptional host. Nothing was too much trouble. As an example, Smiley insisted we were served breakfast at 630am on our last day before he escorted us to our complimentary cab to the airport. The room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom very smart with nice little finishing touches of toiletries. We wanted to ship the superking mattress home with us! We wouldn't hesitate to rebook if back in Marrakech. nil
- Steven (10/5): - This a beautiful Riad! Full of character, excellent breakfast, good wifi, and most importantly genuine and attentive service. Recommended.
- Samantha (7/5): Made to feel welcome. - Very friendly and helpful staff.
Breakfast was good.
Recommendation for Pepe Nero was brilliant, amazing restaurant. Big gap in old wooden doors, didn’t feel very private.
A tradesperson fixing air conditioning had been smoking in the room.
- Manon (10/5): Hidden gem in the medina - This is a gorgeous Riad within a few minutes of the busy streets of the medina, and at the same time secluded enough to be quiet and peaceful. The property is very stylish, clean and also modern and traditional at the same time. Our host, Ismail, was a delight. He has this dynamic and friendly energy that makes you smile. We definitely recommend this hotel.
- Robert (8/5): A thoroughly enjoyable stay in Marrakech facilitated by very good accommodation at Riad 58. - It was an authentic Riad guesthouse in an authentic neighbourhood. The staff Ismail and Yousif were both superb in the way they handled my needs over 7 days of my stay at the Riad. The backroom staff were also great in keeping the place clean, preparing breakfast and general housekeeping. There was nothing that was objectionable.
- Paula (10/5): Exceptional - We had a very pleasant stay at the Riad 58 blu for the new year. Ismael was extremely kind and made our stay the perfect experience. The riad itself is beautiful and super well located. We totally recommend :)
- Simon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Patty (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent excellent service, beautiful property, great location near the main square yet still quiet. Communications leading up to the stay were responsive and helpful. We had a small hiccup with the room type (booked for two beds but only one was made) and the riad was quick to resolve upon arrival. My companion was also feeling a bit unwell, and they graciously ran out to get some bread to settle the stomach. Thank you Ismail and Paolo!
- Fozan (10/5): Great experience - I had an exceptional stay at the local riad during my 3-day trip to Marrakesh. Its strategic location offered a shorter walking distance to main attractions like Jemaa el-Fna, and a conveniently close taxi point. The presence of local grocery stores and dining options nearby added to the convenience.
Ismail, our dedicated host, went above and beyond in making our stay memorable. His genuine hospitality, especially towards our 8-month-old baby, made us feel truly cared for. The overall experience was delightful, and I highly recommend this riad for its excellent service and prime location.
- Olabukunola (7/5): The staff were very welcoming and helpful! They were wonderful and made my busy stay very pleasant. - For the cost, it was good!
- Bastien (10/5): Exceptionnel !
Merci
- Jessica (10/5): Best Riad I ever been! Clean , beautiful style and amazing people :) - Great atmosphere, delicious breakfast, staff super helpful, A bit of smell from the toilet. But nothing really bothering
- Hans-Peter (10/5): - Sehr schön! Der Markt ist in 2 Minuten zu erreichen. Gerne wieder!
- Sam (9/5): Good place to stay in Marrakesh - Spacious riad in good location, clean, off the main streets so not noisy, with nice staff Sound travels well in the riad meaning that at night you can hear other guests on the rooftop etc quite clearly
- Chloe (10/5): Wonderful! - The staff went above and beyond to make our time with them special. Breakfast on the rooftop was wonderful and the room was fabulous! Loved everything about our stay and will definitely stay again on our next trip to Marrakech 🥰 Couldn't fault a thing
- Nora Brigitte (10/5): - I felt like a princess <3 Everything was well organized! Airport transfer was reliable(especially as a woman traveling alone) . Felt welcome and well taken care of! Staff was very helpful and nice!
Can recommend this beautiful Riad! Thank you
- Amanda (10/5): Perfect Riad inside the medina - Our stay at Riad 58 Blu was perfect! It's location inside the medina made walking to many of the places that we wanted to visit easy. We appreciated the AC in the middle of the hot days. Our host Ismail was amazing! He gave practical advice about getting around, and was incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming. He served us a delicious breakfast on the rooftop each morning, and the evening dinners were a nice surprise, and the perfect way to end a busy day. The airport transfers made travel days easier. I would not hesitate to recommend Riad 58 Blu!
- Ritnika (10/5): Great location, big rooms - Lovely Riad with a mini pool and serves alcohol also. Great plus for the hot afternoons
- Carol (10/5): - Lovely riad with great staff, especially Ismail and Yousef. Felt very much at home, great location as its close to the souks. Would definitely return again. Just a few little tweaks needed like coffee/tea in rooms would make it perfect. Overall a very good stay!
Carol & Calvin
- Colin Ronald (10/5): - Great RIAD close to the main square - staff were excellent
- Jhanella (10/5): Exceptional -
