Guest Reviews
- Vicki (8/5): Great townhome in Helen, GA - We enjoyed our townhouse very much, even though we were there only one night. Very clean, plenty of towels and bed linens, perfect area of town for walking and lots to do at the resort itself.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Helen Oktoberfest - The room was ideal for a group of friends attending Helen's Oktoberfest events. The hotel is within walking distance to the downtown area, but is secluded from the noise and traffic. The grounds are beautiful and the area around Helen is great for hiking. The room was perfect for our purposes and easily fit six people with the benefit of two bathrooms and a full kitchen.
- Verified traveler (10/5): great place for families! - What a hidden jewel... chalet condo style hotel room with full kitchen and 2 bedrooms. Grounds very well kept and beautiful. Nice clean outdoor and indoor pool. Would definately stay here again and bring my family. Only difference from hotel stay is your are pulling your own sheets from bed and gathering towels, but I'd say it's worth it.
- Melinda (10/5): - Everything was absolutely amazing. We will definitely be staying again and we are even considering buying one of the villas because it was so awesome. It was quiet and beautiful. Beds were very comfy, villa was very clean and everything we would need was laid out for us from toilet paper to dish washing liquid. The only complaint we had was the fan in our bedroom was noisy.
- Kay (6/5): - We booked through Hotels.com but when we arrived the staff said there were no reservations.
- Jana (10/5): Nice Surprise - Loved the front porch and ammenities. Very spacious for 2 adults and 2 kids. Very close proximity to downtown, but secluded and peaceful.
- Patrick (10/5): - It was a great stay and the room we had seemed to have updated appliances and was a really wonderful stay.
- Patti (10/5): Best lodging in Helen by far. - Wonderful location. Did not have to get in a car fot three days. Will visit again.
- Marie (8/5): Loreley Stay - Convenient to Helen & much better deal than a motel for the same price. Beautiful grounds. Recliner broken & uncomfortable. Our last morning, we were woken by constant jumping in the floor above us at 0600 & it lasted for 3 hrs! Great place for families w/ pools, playground & hot tub.
- Paul (10/5): Total relaxation - Just enjoyed our two days. All relaxing after a week on the road and 1600 miles. Variety of things to do for all ages
- Bryan (10/5): Nice condo - We are a family of 4(two adults and two teens). This was our first time staying at Loreley and won't be our last. We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was nice--nothing fancy, but clean and had everything we needed. Our balcony looked right out over the river. This resort is close enough to town that you can walk but far enough away that the noises of town (people and motorcycles) aren't bothersome if you like some peace and quiet. We walked into town several times for dinner, to play mini golf, and to explore the town. Both tubing companies are right across the street if you like to tube the river. There is a lot to do right there in the resort too if you want a down day--indoor and outdoor pool, suanas, hot tub, playground, shuffleboard, tennis courts, picnic areas with gas and charcoal grills, small fitness center. We were very pleased with our stay and would definitely recommend it.
- jeremy (10/5): - It was awesome, right on the river and very quiet. No complaints and second time staying here.
- Lisa (10/5): Spacious, Amenities, Location - You can actually sit on the river bank peacefully and watch the trout. Right across the river is the Water Park and tubing..walking bridge goes across the river. ( 1/4 th mile walk!) Indoor & Outdoor pool, hot tub, laundry. Spacious and clean. Kitchen comes with paper towels, dish soap, dish towels, everything but food. Clean and quiet. Easy walking distance to putt putt and restaurants and stores, or drive and pay $2 to park at stores.
- michael (10/5): Enjoyable stay !!! - Well pleased with our stay at your facility, everything was better than we anticipated !!!!
- Andy (8/5): Quite out of the way,yet close to everything - We're planning to return in August.the only thing wrong was noise from room above.
- stacey (8/5): Good for families - Staff was nice but facility is showing it's age. Overall, I would recommend.
- Warren (2/5): Terrible experience - After driving 7 hours with four kids in rainy weather, we arrived at the resort to find the office had already closed. We thought it was no big deal since they had a number to call to get a key after hours. The security desk told me that I could not check in because I was not an owner and that I would have to come back in the morning. He also told us that this was stated on the website. We could not find that policy anywhere on the resort's website nor on hotels.com website. Thank goodness I didn't prepay and they won't have to worry about myself or anyone else I know staying there again.
