Guest Reviews
- Teresa (9/5): -
- Dorielle_DS (7/5): - Sehr bequeme Betten, alles hat reibungslos funktioniert. WLAN hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Rustikal und spartanisch eingerichtet, aber das wussten wir vorher.
- Jamie (10/5): Pet Friendly & Friendly Staff - We really appreciated that pets were accepted! It may seem like a small thing, but when you are traveling cross-country with pets, it really narrows your choices, so we are gratefully our 2 dogs were welcomed, no questions asked.
The staff was professional and kind. It is nice after a long day in the car to be welcomed by a smiling face, even late at night.
The bed was comfy!! I like that the rate and availability was shown to us online, and we were able to book the room with our credit card.... but when we arrived we were asked to pay there, she explained entering my card online only reserved the room. Which is fine... but then I was charged a few dollars more than what it said online, I didn't say anything and just let it go ... but as she processed my payment she said the reason they don't let booking.com take payments online is that they charge the customers 6% more ...yet I was actually charged more in person. It was still a good experience overall, and would definitely stay again!
- Robert (8/5): -
- Diane (8/5): Good food and coffee for a small town. - Great location. Close to the hiking we came to do.
- David (8/5): Pleasant - No breakfast
- Deanna (5/5): Wouldn’t stay there again…dirty! - Location Very sparse tv channels, bathroom and tub was incredibly dirty! Prior customer’s soap was left in the tub so I know it wasn’t given attention to detail. Ice machine was broken …looks like a long time.
- Robert (6/5): Ok - No coffee, no ice machine. Latter broken for some time
- KENNETH (2/5): - If you are going through Arco, keep going!!! Nothing worth stopping for other than "Pickles" which has very good food.
- Jane and Larry (8/5): - Close to craters of the moon. Limited anenities but soacious and clean.
- Bryan (8/5): - Classic, basic motel and clean.
- Barb Or Dave (10/5): - Very friendly staff, very clean. Perfect.
- Ginny (8/5): - Older property, but clean and comfortable
- Jon S (6/5): Over-priced for what you get - Not really worth the price. Bare minimum amenities but with a not-so-low price. No coffee available. Ice machine not working. Room was in ok condition and the bed was comfortable. Motel is right off the main road but was quiet. Strong wi-fi.
- Nick (6/5): Stayed at big chain hotels cheaper - nothing really old, run down, a bit overpriced ,
no amenities
- Harry (6/5): - acceptable, nothing fancy , a bit overpriced
- James (6/5): - Staff was very nice. Rooms were not. First room we were assigned the main room lights did not work. Second room the lights for the bathroom and dressing area were cross wired so the switch for one worked the other. The beds had a definite hammock effect - - they need to rotate the mattresses once in a while. Peeling paint and filthy pillows inside clean pillowcases were lesser problems. But may be best place to stay in Arco.
- Sandra (8/5): Small but friendly - Very friendly staff, needs updating . The people of Arco are very friendly and although it doesn’t have many places to eat, the food is amazing. A huge shout out to the bbq place at the RV park, Pickles Place, and los hermonos 2!!!! Great coffee and cookies at the coffee shop
- brenda (9/5): The room was clean and provided what we needed. The manger accommodated our late arrival. - Location
- John (5/5): Decent room, but don’t pay extra for “views” and check the faucets. - The room was clean and comfortable. The faucet in the sink did not work. Also, I paid extra for a garden view and mountain view. My room had neither. There is no garden and I can’t see how any of the rooms would have a mountain view.
- Glenda (10/5): - Motel was easy to find. Staff friendly.
- Scott (8/5): -
- Mark (10/5): - Air conditioning
- Robert (10/5): - Nice, quiet, inexpensive place to stay while we were in Arco. Definitely recommended!
- Ewa (10/5): - Nice small motel,good location,close to restaurant.
- Patricia (2/5): So happy to leave this space in my rearview mirror - Could park in front of room. Window was a fairly new double glazed one with a screen. Proximity to Pickle Cafe which had delicious food. Aged, non-cooling A/C in 95+F temps. old, aged unit circa last century, 2 knobs to turn and no cool air. Ugh. This ensured no sleep in the warm airless room that night. Thought about getting into my car and turning on it's A/C to cool down and get some sleep. Basic cleanliness needs assistance. Fuzz on dirty looking carpet, vacuuming would help, copious black whisker hairs behind the bathroom sink faucet, spotted mirror. Bugs on bathroom floor resembling ticks and the toilet has water seepage stains on the rear floor. Bathtub looked quite unappealing. No hangers in the closet area, not even 1 plastic cup/glass. Unfinished wall and baseboard areas. Lamps had old dull lights. Needs some TLC and 21st century upgrade for the price. I'm all for supporting local businesses, however, updating along the way is necessary.
- Everett (7/5): They did meet our basic needs. - The was clean Coke machine, ice machine and no coffee
- Lynda (2/5): Don’t stay here. Drive on - Like something out of the movie Schittz Creek No amenities. No Kleenex, cheap furniture, floors felt very unsteady like your foot would go through them. I would not stay here again or recommend this place to anyone.
- Diane (6/5): -
- hagan (4/5): - The size of the room and location and price Had no coffee machines and pillows were horrible. Need new, nicer pillows and more pillows. Better soap
- Ken (10/5): - Quiet, clean and comfortable.
- Yvette (8/5): - Checking in and out was super easy. The welcoming staff member was very friendly and informative. The water was hot and the pressure was great. The bedsheets were clean. The carpet was not. The pillows were small and too few. It was unfortunate that the ice machine was broken. It was a quiet, safe area. We enjoyed our stay overall. Loved the national monument. We will come back and stay here for sure.
- Suzanne (7/5): - It's an older motel, but it was clean. It was hot there, but the ac worked very well, thankfully. Small parking lot and hard to turn around in with our large SUV. No breakfast. Overall it was a pleasant stay.
- Michelle (8/5): - Checking in was quick and easy. There are only a handful of rooms here and our stay was very quiet. One of the beds did seem to be broken near the head of the bed (when you put weight on that corner the rest of the mattress seemed to lift off the floor but it was easily solved by flipping around and sleeping with my feet towards the head of the bed.) The room was overall clean but it definitely seemed worn down in places. 100% worth what we paid for and it was a great price for us to be so close to the Craters of the Moon park.
- Dorothy (10/5): - Had a great night sleep.
- James (6/5): - Although it had high ratings on the website that we used for this booking, we felt the price was high for the accommodations that we received.
- Patrick (3/5): Would not stay here again. - Property manager was friendly and helpful. Seriously in need of upgrade. Stains on carpets, mold evident many places. Door lock sticky.
- Jennifer (7/5): Nice little on the road motel for a quick overnight. - This was a perfect little stop along the way on my way to Boise from Idaho Falls. Very clean, comfortable bed and just a nice little drive up motel. I was really happy there was a refrigerator in the room. This is a very simple place. I wish they had things like coffee available. Decor was very simple with mostly empty walls but what more do you need for a 12 Hour road stop? The exterior doesn't look like much and the interior decor was classic old motel, but everything was clean and fine.
- Dennis (6/5): - dated furnishings, few outlets, few restaurant options
- Devin (2/5): Very poor -
- Verified traveler (6/5): Very basic - Too soft and low mattress. Bathroom tub needs work as it fills when it’s not plugged up.
- Elizabeth (8/5): Very good -
- Robert (6/5): Pleasant -
- Lenard (8/5): - A very simple comfortable stay. I appreciated the emails sent to us before and after our stay. It was quiet and pleasant.
- christopher (10/5): Arco Inn - Arco is a small town with only a couple of stay choices. Arco Inn is clean, easy location close to food and activities.
Close to the Craters of the Moon National Monument and the EBR - I, the world's first nuclear power plant.
- Amina (4/5): Disappointing - Uncomfortable bed, bad airconditioning. Dirty carpet
- Margaret (9/5): Perfect location if you want to be as close as possible to Craters of the Moon Park - Location was perfect, not far from Craters of the Moon so we were able to drive out there around midnight to view night sky. Alyssa at the front desk was amazing (and her dog Bear who was so adorable) She was so helpful and corrected a mistake I had made when booking. Answered any questions we had and gave suggestions for coffee shops nearby in the morning. No blow dryers in room, which was unexpected, but it was ok for just a one night stay.
- Patricia (6/5): Met our travel needs - Location and comfortable bed No blow dryer
- Randell (8/5): Very good -
- Cynthia (9/5): Had refirg/microwave, TV No Wifi, but was clean and comfortable. - NO breakfast, NO ice machine. Air conditioner, kind of noisy, but room was cool, comfortable bed, clean bathroom. We slept well. Great location for Crater of the Moon. Noisy air conditioner.
- Newton (4/5): - No updates to this property. The floor creaked wherever you stepped. The carpet was very old and didn’t look like it had been cleaned in years. The concrete slab was pitted severely and the lawn was nothing but weeds. You could hear the floors creaking in adjoining rooms when people walked around. I seriously doubt the place could pass a basic inspection.
- Sue (4/5): - Location and condition as expected on cross country trip with friends. Old school Motel style. Cleanliness left a lot to be desired. First room’s bed had obviously been slept in but bed had been “made.” Fridge had lots of food left in it.
Second room had fresh linen but I still slept fully clothed just in case. Saving grace..towels smelled like bleach.
- Marcella (4/5): - The floor of our room creaked and so the the rooms around us-also no clock in the room or coffee maker in the room or in the office. The manager was very nice.
- Jen (6/5): - There was no ice as the ice machine was broken. The tub had "stuff" on the ledge (not clean) and a half used bar of soap as well. No coffee maker in the room and only one astic cup for water.
- John (6/5): - Only motel in the area. Pretty dated. Clean, and new manager very friendly. She sort of inherited a mess. Town was very friendly, and the park across the street was very nice.
Coffee shop up the street a couple blocks.
- Stephanie (4/5): - Basic but convenient
- Luis (9/5): Superb -
- Rachael (6/5): Very overpriced for what you get but there are no real choices in Arco. Unfortunate as it’s a beautiful part of Idaho. - Location Severely outdated. Holes in the walls from rehab projects that were never finished.
- Luci (6/5): - The lady in the office aloud for me to check in 5 min. prior to 3 oclock (Thank you)
The neighbors were up early in the morning and the walls were very thin... The water pipes were very loud from the adjacent rooms... There wasn't any coffee in the rooms or nearby...
- Maria (8/5): Very good -
- Katherine (9/5): Superb - Clean, quiet and beds were comfortable. Close to Craters of the Moon.
- Virginia (7/5): Small hotel but covers your needs - It was a large room near a park I found some drugs in the drawer
- Tim (10/5): - Had a great time!
- Pamela (10/5): - Very friendly staff, comfortable. Would stay there agin!
- Audrey (6/5): Close proximity to Craters of the Moon. Plenty of gas stations to fuel up but eat before you arrive or bring food with y - We chose this property solely because it is 15 min from Craters of the Moon National Monument The town has little to offer. One restaurant was open when we arrived and it was awful.
- James D (10/5): - The check-in and checkout process was excellent with Peggy at the motel office. Good place to stay for a last minute reservation as I travel across country.
- Annamarie (8/5): Clean and friendly - Room was clean, staff had good food recommendations for a limited choice.
- Yulia (2/5): Very poor - Location Plug in aroma was used with really strong smell , the room was extremely cold and took hrs to warm up
- Daphne (9/5): Clean, comfortable, good stay - Clean, bed was comfortable, lots of hot water, good water pressure, front desk person was very nice
- Sharon (6/5): The Noel Motel - Well, we were not expecting greatness in Arco, Idaho, we were however, at least hoping for a decent place to put our heads down for the night. There are absolutely no amenities at the facility or the town itself. The room was less than clean and when we arrived, there was still Garbage on the floor.
- Helen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brian (7/5): Good -
- Kristina (7/5): Good -
- Katie (5/5): Passable -
- Brian (4/5): - Nice staff, clean, basic. TV didn’t work and none of the plugs would hold a charger cord.
- Michael (7/5): Good -
- Rex (5/5): Disappointed - It was clean and easy to find The cable only let me watch kids shows. The WiFi code they gave me in two separate places was wrong and when I asked for the right one she was really rude. There are 4 pages of.special rules pasted on the back of the door. There was no coffee maker in the room and if I used my own it was subject to $300 fine. There was supposed to be coffee next to the office but when we left at 8 it still wasn't there. Arco is really small so the selection of places to stay are limited but I would try as somewhere else.
- David (6/5): - Peggy was awesome and very helpful. The property itself was clean, but felt unmaintained and not updated, furniture did not match and I felt like it was put together from good will items...
- Jonathan (8/5): What we expected. It was perfectly fine for one night. - No breakfast!
- Phillip (10/5): - It was nice.
- Wood (6/5): Pleasant -
- steven (2/5): - Never stayed there all the help quit or left so we couldn't even get a key. Ended up staying elsewhere
- Daniel (4/5): - Clean bathroom but facility was rundown. Smaller bed in room than advertised. No bedside table. I didn't complain as we were out doing other things and came back late.
- Philip (6/5): Pleasant - N/A price
- Scott (10/5): clean, reasonable value, close to Craters of the Moon - none all good
- Jacek (8/5): I will stay there again. - It’s located along the main highway with easy access to several areas of my interest. It’s an old dilapidated hotel, but it’s clean.
- Joel (6/5): The room was simple but was clean and met our needs. -
- Neal (5/5): Passable -
- GARY (8/5): - Just a good overnight old style motel
- Verified traveler (6/5): Motel of Last Resort - Front desk clerk was surly. The first room she gave us had not been cleaned. The second room she gave us also hadn’t been cleaned! She gave us a room upgrade to a room that indeed had been clean. However, the pedestal table top kept chipping, so whatever we put on the table fell to the floor. When I tried to open a drawer, the handle fell off. No clothes hangers. The air conditioning worked well. Location was fine.
- Janis (5/5): Passable - Location was great with access to national Park. Damages inside room were reported but not fixed before or during stay.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alexandru (8/5): - Convenient - close to the Craters of the Moon National Monument.
Amenities could be better - there were no coffee facilities in the room, and the icemaker was broken (and used for storing styrofoam cumps). There was a coffee maker in the ice/soda room, but no coffee or filters were visible.
- Vic (10/5): Great sleep - A no frills motel that afforded a great night’s sleep.
Super comfy bed, great shower pressure with plenty of hot water.
Easy drive to Craters of the Moon.
Disappointed there was no coffee in the morning. (Yes, coffee is important to me- found some at the gas station)
- Mike (8/5): - Peggi was cheerful and did a great job at check in and making sure we knew everything. The Arco Inn is a nice small town motel which was in a good location. the rooms were very neat and clean. A great place to spend
- Stacy (4/5): Would not recommend this hotel. -
- Bob (10/5): Craters of the Moon - Peggy was very friendly and helpful.
- Becki (2/5): - This is probably one the best places in Arco to stay, so I recommend bypassing Arco altogether if you can.
- Carl D (4/5): - No coffee in the rooms, no Kleenex in the room. TV had about five channels. Curtains barely hanging on the window. Person that check us in was on the shaky side. Not much to choose from in Arco but I would expect better accommodations from any place even a small Inn.
- Gary (8/5): Nice clean room - Great place to stay for an overnigbt to explore Craters of the Moon. Exellent ice cream shop up the street. Only knock was there was no ice machine on property.
