- Josh Ivey (10/5): I will be back - 10% discount on hotels and bars on main street, always a nice touch!
- Tonja (10/5): - The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was amazing. My granddaughter left her unicorn cup and the manager let us back in before the office opened.
- John (9/5): Great value. Clean and comfortable. - Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen/dining area was bigger than expected. The wifi was weak in my room.
- Cyndi (9/5): Excellent stay! - Very comfortable room. Nice fluffy towels. Had everything you needed. Nice to park right in front of room. Close to restaurants and grocery store. Only wish the sheets weren't as rough.

- stephaniewG8371HK (10/5): Clean, Comfortable, and Compassionate - My 83 year old mother and I were on our way to Cottonwood when I came down with a stomach virus. I stopped at a local hotel and they were full, but the lady at the front desk called around and found a room for us at Fort Verde Suites.
This was around 11:30 AM. They rushed cleaning the room and got us in early due to my desperate situation.
We pulled in at 12:00 PM and Beverly immediately got us signed in and even helped get our stuff into the room. I collapsed onto the bed.
It’s not a four star hotel by any means, but that king size bed was a comfortable blessing. The room was cool and clean.
The staff even assisted my mother in getting a Sprite for me.
At first glance, I wouldn’t have picked this little motel. I’m so glad it was chosen for me.
I definitely would stay there again.
It was clean, comfortable, and has the most compassionate staff.
Thank you for taking good care of us.

- oriol (8/5): Bon lloc per pas - Molt net. Habitació ampla. Silenciós. Còmode. Dificultat contactar per mail/missatge.
Però solucionat per telèfon
- Kenneth (8/5): Great stay would return in future - Location and rooms Requested a shower chair and it was old and I did not use it because I didn’t think it was safe. Chair very low
- Wayne (7/5): Not quite as portrayed, but comfortable. Probably worth supporting a non corporate business. - Very comfortable for a night or two. Clean. Noisy.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Read what did I like! Plan on returning in the future and will syay there again. - Location was ideal. The bed was perfect. What brand was it? Stay was 3 nights and my back never hurt.
The weather was amazing. Privacy was superb. Opened the door and let in the fresh spring air country air! Could have used another lamp at the coffee pot table.
- Jonathon (10/5): Highly recommend if needing a clean safe place to stay in Camp Verde. - Very clean and quaint with tons of charm. Little town of Camp Verde is really cool. I was here for a Jeep Jamboree alone so it worked perfectly I wouldn’t change a thing.
- lbertz (4/5): 1060s Motel experience - I can’t believe this motel gets such a good rating. Here is my experience: first there was no one to check us in when we arrived at 6:30, the office was closed. We waited 15 minutes for someone to appear in their truck to check us in. The room was clean enough but needed a serious updating. The furniture was held together with big gobs of glue, the bathroom sink or tub would not drain. The tub had moldy caulking, broken tiles, bad lighting over the vanity, door that barely closed. So sorry, but I have not stayed in such a place since I was a very young person and didn’t really care about nice things. I guess I have traveled to too many places that were reasonable but in great shape.
- Lauren (8/5): - FVSs served our needs perfectly. The room was very clean and had a bonus kitchenette. Mattress was comfy enough. The water pressure in the shower was excellent. Was impressed with the friendly email I received prior to arrival asking us to let them know if we had any special needs/requests. Thought that was a nice touch.
Visitors should definitely try The Bullpen Grill & Watering Hole next door. The food was outstanding!
- MyHazer (10/5): Always a pleasure to stay here! - Always a friendly check in and a clean and comfortable room. I stay here three times per year as I am traveling thru the area
- Holly (6/5): Clean room good value - No breakfast Better lighting out side the back and side are dark and a little uncomfortable
- Jan (9/5): - Very clean older motel with modern upgrades like a mini-split and newer linens. Very friendly staff.
- Patrick (10/5): Clean rooms, great staff and a comfortable stay at a great price. - The room was clean, the staff was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We arrived an hour before check in time and were able to check in early. The clerk told us about nearby restaurants and local attractions. Parking was right outside our door. Everything was as expected but we needed and iron. There was not one in the room. We did not check with the staff to see if one was available. We made do without. It was not an issue.
- Violeta (10/5): -
- Asencion (8/5): Relaxing and comfortable -
- Nancy (8/5): -
- Matthew (8/5): Comfortable stay. - Convenient location in downtown Camp Verde. Room was clean and the staff was very friendly/helpful. Condensation from the A/C unit made the carpet wet.
- Clyde (10/5): -
- Peter (9/5): - Super attentive staff, nicely designed rooms. Comfy beds. We loved it. Wifi needs to be stabler as tv also depends on ot
- MingHsuan (9/5): We would like to recommend this place. It’s clean and the room is quite big. Dining room almost have everything that you - It’s really clean. The price is very reasonable. Outside is a bit dark, hopefully can have a brighter sign so we can see clearly when arrival at night
- haiyun (1/5): -
- Diana (10/5): Quality - Location Loved it all.
- Ma Kathrina Dizon (7/5): It was decent. - It was clean and the rooms were huge! Mine had a whole kitchen in the back. The lady at the front desk was nice and gave us good suggestions for places to eat. It was a bit expensive for the type of accommodation. It’s a roadside motel with a 4 star price.
- Marcel (7/5): Günstige gut gelegene Unterkunft mit guten Betten. Raum roch etwas streng.
- Nita (5/5): We wanted to stay in the mountain area and see sights. Federal park closed due to White Houseidiot and state park clos - Photos made property look cute Safety electric issue in initial room created distrust and lousy sleeping
- kimberly (8/5): - The outside seating area in front of your room, the ceiling fan and decor. I smoke and don't mind doing it outside in a designated area but have a light out there it was real scary at night. It was located at the end of the parking lot that backed up to some Woods with no shelter and an open dog park to the side. I had to go to the feed store next door and buy a flashlight to see my surroundings
- Donald (8/5): -
- Geoffrey (10/5): - Great location!
- Brett (10/5): - great
- Daniel (10/5): - I thought the room was very nice! Motel is well taken care of. Check in was quick and easy. A lot nicer then the $365/night resort I stayed at the night before!
I highly recommend staying here and I would stay here again when in the area!
- Phyllis (10/5): - Beverly is awesome! Such a cute place! We enjoyed our stay.
- David (10/5): - Great staff. Convenient location. Nice room at a fair price.
- Gary (10/5): - Starting with our check in with Beverly ( I think thats her name), the room, the charming decor and the area around were wonderful. The motel is very charming, southwest decor and many restaunts are walking distance. We ate at the Bullpen, next door and had an excellent meal with entertaiment. Overall a great experience.
- J8077IXgregm (4/5): Poor maintenance! - When the coffee pot doesn't work I'm not a happy camper. Very cheap setup.
The office hours don't open up till after 8:00 am. Not very business like.
The shower was moldy and not enough water escapes the shower head to wash a hummingbird! And the hot water takes a good 5-7 minutes to get hot.
The mini-split was mounted crooked so the condensate run on the floor near the bathroom.
So your feet get wet and sticky, then your feet get dirty from the not very clean carpet.
The TV remote system is a joke!
It only ment for geeks!
All the doors stick terribly...
After all this I guess we will be back to the Camp Verde area but not staying here again!
I forgot to mention the ice was nice. Very good ice machine.
Yours truly G&K
- Stacey (10/5): - The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again. The next time we are in town.
- Ana (10/5): - A
- Glendia (10/5): - Nicest & most welcoming receptionist!
Great customer service
- Joe (10/5): 2 Adventurers - This establishment has every thing you need ; nearby restaurants ,shops ,and clean comfortable rooms. It’s a great jumping off point for outdoor activities, and wonderful place to get rest afterwards. Thank you to the kind staff, hope to return soon.
- pierre (9/5): Convivial - Pas de petit déjeuner
- Claudene (10/5): - I really enjoyed my stay in Camp Verde! The location was perfect—close to great restaurants and convenient shopping, which made everything super easy and enjoyable. The place itself was clean, comfortable, and had a welcoming atmosphere. It was a great spot to relax after exploring the area, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Camp Verde.
- Morris (6/5): Nice Hotel, but basic maintenence needs to be done - The satellite tv didnt work, the Roku did so we were able to watch our own streaming. However, more importantly the tub drained too slow to even shower. Just while trying to adjust the water temp it filled half way up. From the floating debris in the water I could tell housekeeping should obviously be aware. Other than that, the room was clean, bed was comfortable and I love the location and decoration of the motel. I would stay again.
- Veronica (10/5): - Fantastic property! The front desk was very nice and helpful! The best restaurants were next-door and lots of great shopping to be done. We would highly recommend La Casita Mexican Restaurant and Wingfield Bread company. Plus you will receive discounts at these establishments if you stay here. You will love it!
- Vicki (8/5): - Room was clean and comfortable.
- Vincent (10/5): - Clean, safe and local.
- Rebecca (10/5): - We absolutely loved this hotel we will definitely be back
- Farley (9/5): Very nice motel -
- Mark (8/5): Hot day - the stay was satisfactory, cool in the hot day. large dinning room.
- Angelica (6/5): - It was in the center of camp verde It had a funky smell in the room. I want to say it was from the carpet but the kitchen didn't smell.
- adrian (10/5): - Staff was exceptional
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional -
- George Preston (10/5): Comfortable stay and great value! - Very clean and very comfortable. The hotel manager was very friendly and helpful.
- 790cyndeb (10/5): Comfy Bed!!! - If the room is clean and the bed is comfy, price is right, it’s excellent! Better than I expected too!! It fits the camp verde vibe! It’s old, but kept up very well! Still gets an excellent review, since it was very affordable! Good food nearby too!
- Brenda (8/5): - The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious.
- Yvonne (10/5): - Consistantly good and price is right.
- Daniel (10/5): - Very nice locally-owed motel with great ambiance. Well run and very clean and convenient. A breath of fresh air compared to all the typical corporate chain hotels.
- John (1/5): We left without sleeping - The manager was very friendly and knowledgeable There was dust all over the furniture. The tin smelled like urine. We actually left sheet a few hours. Couldn’t deal with the smell
- Peggy (10/5): This is a great place to stay while exploring the Camp Verde area. - Clean, comfortable and quiet. All was fine
- Monica (8/5): - Nice, clean, good deco, comfortable
- Cresencio (10/5): - Old western style but clean. Quiet and peaceful town.
- Wendy (10/5): - The Motel has been updated to Southwestern style. My unit had plenty of room. The person st front desk was very friendly and helpful.
- Kerry (9/5): Superb -
- Melissa (9/5): Superb -
- Lisa (8/5): - Clean, nicely decorated, quite and plenty of space. I really wanted to like this place enough to stay again. I don't want to stay here again because, the plumbing backs up as soon as you turn on the shower. Even though they were quick to put drain stuff in it, while I was out for the day. It didn't work. As soon as I turned on the shower it was backing up. The bathroom and kitchen sinks back up quickly as well.
- Sebastian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dean S (10/5): Verde Suite - Didn't know prior to arriving that there was a kitchen with this room. Had all we needed. Great, great bed, so comfortable. Slept like a baby.
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Rose (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and comfortable
- Cristina (6/5): - Ok,
- James (10/5): Great spot for Seniors that want to tiime travel! - If you prefer modern, luxury hotels, this place isn’t for you. But if you want a “historic” experience in a motel that’s from another era, you just might love this nostalgic choice! We did. Check-in was a pleasure (but they close at 8) and the room was large and clean. The satellite TV system was too complicated for us to figure out, but we watched free stations on the Roku channel. We loved the live music at The Bullpen, a local tavern next door, also historic with great staff. You can stay at the casino a few miles away for a bit more money, but if you want to time travel to the 50’s in the center of town, give this place a try. Also, several great restaurants located just up the street.
- Wesley S (10/5): - The staff that checked me in was absolutely amazing, and very informative, and friendly. The facility is dated, but is clean, and very cozy. Will definitely stay ther if the area again.
- Tracy (8/5): Cool western vibe motel - Loved everything about the room, service, checkin, location, but the bed was too hard, uncomfortable
- Lori (10/5): - this property exceeded my expectations. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and well appointed with a comfortable bed. I love the setting area out front and having restaurants/shops to walk to was very convenient. It’s a great location for area hiking. Will be back.
- James (10/5): - Good breakfast across the street and walkable to anything in town. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
- Gregory (8/5): - It’s definitely not a Hilton but is a value for the money, not fancy but offers a good night stay. Our room needed another light by the bed and the bathroom light should be brighter. I can find other things to be picky about, but I like the place, it has a homey feel, like staying at your Aunt Mabel’s. Management is friendly and accommodating. Just down the road is a good breakfast place called Thanks A Latte Bistrow. I recommend it.
- Adam (10/5): - If want to visit Sedona and need an affordable place to stay, the Fort Verde Suites Motel is an excellent option. The host was very friendly at check-in, the room was clean, and the drive to Sedona from here is gorgeous. The property is just a few minutes away from the Montezuma Castle National Monument (though I ran out of time to visit). It was quiet and felt like a safe area.
- Tia (10/5): - The rooms were clean, bed comfortable & staff super friendly
- Katherine (9/5): Loved the country vibe. - This property is so cute!!! I loved the aesthetics and vibe. Easy checkin, pleasant, helpful staff. The bed was so comfy and the room spacious. No complaints at all!
- Genoveva (7/5): Good -
- Dawn (10/5): 50th Anniversary get away - Fort Verde Suites was nice. Had a kitchen with everything supplied. TV was somewhat of an issue, kept buffering. King bed was to firm for my husband, but good for me. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Very helpful & friendly manager.
- Stacy (7/5): Would stay again…but only if I bring a fan/white noise maker! - Lovely property, very quaint and exceptional attention to detail including wine glasses in the rooms, fridge and microwave, soaps, lotions, makeup remover, etc. They thought of all the little things necessary! The walls were paper-thin. You could everyone outside, and nextdoor, including the rooster crowing non-stop across the street. We usually take a fan with us to drown out the noise but forgot on this trip so it made it very difficult to rest and sleep!
- Camille (10/5): - Very clean rooms. Easy to check in after hours. Great breakfast across the street.
- Dennis (6/5): - Checkin was quick and easy. The rooms were fairly clean even though the property is quite aged. Keep shoes on, however. Shower head was 5' high so it was tough to wash hair. Beds were comfortable. The rooster next door got us going in the morning.
- Kent (7/5): Good -
- Mario (8/5): - We’ve stayed here multiple weekends to go to festivals and wineries throughout the area and have always had a hassle free stay.
- Joseph (10/5): - Easy check in, easy parking, very clean conditions
- Antonio (8/5): Very good - No breakfast
