- LAURA (10/5): Très belle expérience et merveilleux souvenirs. A refaire sans hésiter. - L’expérience est dépaysante. On dort au calme avec une vue sur la réserve privée de Guernsey. La cabane est spacieuse et très bien décorée. La literie est très bonne. Les nuits sont fraîches en mai et on a apprécié la bonne couette. Notre chambre avait une douche privative à l’extérieur et nous y sommes allés avec difficulté le premier jour mais c’est en réalité très agréable et nous avons apprécié. Le personnel est exceptionnel. Tous souriants et à l’écoute. Big up pour l’équipe ! Nous avons fais plusieurs excursions proposées par le lodge dont le safari d’une journée et tout c’est très bien passé. Le parc Kruger est à un peu moins d’une heure. Certains trouveront que c’est un peu loin mais nous avons pu assister au lever et au coucher de soleil dans le parc et profité d’une journée incroyable avec un guide au sens de l’observation surprenant. - Liiisssschen (10/5): - Wir hatten das Apartment „Dream“ – und der Name passt perfekt. Ein wunderschönes Baumhaus mit Indoor- und Outdoor-Bad. Das Bett hätte man sogar nach draußen schieben können – einfach traumhaft! Das Essen war super und der Service unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ausflüge, Safaris und Bushwalks konnten direkt über die Unterkunft gebucht werden, was alles sehr unkompliziert gemacht hat. Tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis – absolute Empfehlung! Ein Geländetaugliches Auto ist empfehlenswett.
- Roland (9/5): Fantaschtisch Lodge op houten palen - Wij verbleven voor de 2e keer bij Pezulu Tree House. Het nieuwe management was beduidend beter dan 10 jaar geleden en dat merkte je aan alles. Kamer was leuk maar niet voor langer dan 3-4 dagen. Hebben een gamedrive geboekt en Lorinda heeft er alles aan gedaan om er een leuke dag van te maken, nogmaals dank daarvoor. 's-avonds werden wij meegenomen omdat er een leeuw en wilde hond gespot waren, dit was een erg leuke verrassing. Wij hadden naast ontbijt ook het avondeten geboekt en beide maaltijden waren geweldig. Personeel is uitermate vriendelijk en wij raden Pezulu dan ook aan voor een verblijf. De weg naar de lodge was drassig en hobbelig door de vele regenbuien dus zorg dat je een hoge auto hebt als je deze lodge boekt.

- Cathrien (8/5): Leuke avontuurlijke plek in de natuur - Mooie boomhut midden in de natuur. Eten goed verzorgd, Bush walk was leuk en interessant. Je kan zelf niet vrij rondlopen, behalve van je huis naar het restaurant.

- Faith (1/5): My stay was beautiful except our rooms. - Nothing about the location was good the rooms had holes we were very scared just in case snakes get inside our room.but the staff was friendly and lovely the food was delicious and the service was out of this world 🌎. The food and the staff was great.
- Janine (10/5): Fabelhaft - Pezulu hat spektakuläre Tree Häuser, die wunderbar in die Natur passen. Wir haben uns mit Absicht gegen eine Luxushotellodge entschieden, weil wir genau diesen Flair haben wollten. Für mich war es definitiv Luxus. Meine 6 jährige Tochter liebte es sehr. Das Personal war fast schon familiär. Wir bekamen den besten Guide Akani. Alle Big 5 konnten wir abchecken sowie ein paar weitere seltene Tiere. :) wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Man kann hier richtig runterkommen und hat nichts außer die Natur um sich. Wir wurden direkt mit dem Besuch von Giraffen vor der Unterkunft begrüßt. Das Essen war sehr lecker und das Personal super freundlich. Ein absolutes Highlight war die Ganztages-Safari mit Joe. Die Baumhäuser sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber dennoch sehr schön eingerichtet.

Vanaf de boomhut hebben we giraffen en andere dieren kunnen zien en tijdens het eten liep er een zebra voorbij! Het personeel is onwijs vriendelijk en vrolijk en de safari’s zijn top met goede gidsen. Het eten was ook heerlijk. Ze hebben zelfs een hele taart gebakken voor mijn verjaardag. Zo lief! - MonaHereAndThere (10/5): What a wonderful adventure! - Pezulu tree house lodge exceeded our expectations. The tree houses are amazing, spacious, with comfortable beds with mosquito nets, outdoor shower and indoor bathroom with a tub, a large porch from which we saw 20 to 30 impalas, a family of wildebeest and a zebra, up to 9 giraffes right in front of us (5 to 50 meters away) every morning and evening. At night we heard lions and hyenas. The Safaris and guides were super, we saw all big 5 and hyenas, rhinos, hippos, giraffes, and many many more. There is a nice boma, the food was very good. The staff is lovely and the owner is exceptional and told us about his exciting adventures. Thank you for everything, Vaughan! The leopard lady and company will come back :) Everything is perfect

- Thomas (8/5): Gute Lage, abenteuerliche Unterkunft, jedoch relativ wenig Komfort für den recht hohen Preis. - Die Lage ist hervorragend. Wir konnten von der Terrasse aus und im Gelände viele Tiere beobachten. Die Unterkunft ist zweckmäßig ausgestattet, aber die Ausstattung ist eher aufs Notwendige beschränkt. Kein TV, aber das war auch so beschrieben. Internet lief akzeptabel, aber nicht zum streamen geeignet. Die Verpflegung (Halbpension) war gut. Wir haben eine Tour (Jeep) durch das Gelände mit einem Guide gebucht, die uns sehr gefallen hat. Die Beleuchtung zu den Unterkünften bei Dunkelheit ist gerade ausreichend, eine Taschenlampe für den Rückweg vom Essen ist empfehlenswert. Das mag aber zum Schutz der freilaufenden Tiere so gewollt und gut sein. Wir fanden, dass über 1.200€ für vier Übernachtungen nicht angemessen waren.
- Angela (10/5): Unser Aufenthalt war wirklich traumhaf und ein unvergessenes Erlebnis - Der Weg zur Pezulu Tree House Lodge war sehr abenteuerlich, ging aber gut zu fahren. Unser Baumhaus war wirklich spektakulär und schön eingerichtet, auch die Aussicht war toll. Die Besitzer und das gesamte Personal waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Krüger Full-Day Tour war toll und Joe war ein super Guide. Er hat uns sehr viel gezeigt und auch erklärt. Das Abendessen am Lagerfeuer war sehr schön und auch lecker.
- Sarah (9/5): Toffe en gezellige lodge dicht bij Kruger NO - Gezellige en originele lodge. Het eten was super lekker. Samen dineren rond het vuur in de boma zullen we niet snel vergeten. Wij reisden in de winter en met 5C zijn de boomhutten erg koud.

Acordar e encontrar girafas , zebras , Kundu e outros animais é especial . E sem falar nos colaboradores do hotel , pessoas que fazem tudo com muito amor .

Wir hatten ein wunderschönes Baumhaus mitten im Bush und konnten von der Terrasse aus die Tiere beobachte. Wir hatten das große Glück, den besten Guide zu haben. Joe machte mit uns alle Game Drives sowie Tagesfahrt zum Kruger Nationalpark und andere tolle Ausflüge. Wir konnten von ihm so viel lernen,auch menschlich gesehen war er für uns eine große Bereicherung. Vielen Dank für die schöne, leider viel zu kurze Zeit. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Alles war super

Le restaurant et l'ambiance décevant manque de déco, le menu très restreint. On était autour du feu les uns à côté des autres à attendre nos repas cela faisait très scolaire.

- Dietrich (9/5): Gern wieder - Für uns eine traumhaft schöne Lage in einem Buschgelände. Zum Teil kommen Tiere bis an die Lodge. Das hat uns sehr gefallen. Die Baumhäuser sind sehr schön gemacht und bieten viel Platz und Komfort. Auch der Grillabend im Boma war sehr schön. Wir waren das 2te Mal und würden sofort wieder hinfahren. Das Wetter war dieses Mal nicht so toll / Regen, sodass die Fuss- und Jeep-Safarie feucht waren. Dafür kann die Lodge nichts.

Gemeinsames Abendessen in der "Bomba" war super. Türen schließen schlecht, alle Türen quietschen. Schwierigkeiten beim zuschliessen der Türen.

- Gailer (10/5): Tolle Unterkunft mit super Staff aber ohne Big Five vor der Haustüre - Abendessen ist sensationell l! Mitarbeiter sind alle super :) Shout Out an Akoni für die Touren! Da in der Gegend lediglich 3 Leoparden leben und es keine Löwen gibt muss man sich hier wenig sorgen bezüglich der Sicherheit machen Hohe Tierdichte im Reserve der Lodge Man muss sich darüber bewusst sein, dass sich die Unterkunft in einem Private Nature Reserve befindet und deshalb bei den Guernsey Drives (direkt bei der Lodge) nur Büffel und Leoparden von den Big Five befinden. Diese Drives sind ein tolles Add-On zu den Safaris im Kruger Nationalpark.
- Christin (8/5): Tolle Erfahrung - Wunderschöne Baumhäuser in mitten der Natur. Dementsprechend sollte mein ein Auto mit viel Bodenfreiheit haben, was aber im Norden Südafrikas eh angebracht ist. Die Baumhäuser sind ein einmaliges Erlebnis und mit Glück kommen einige Tiere auch bis ans Baumhaus heran. Wir könnten Giraffen Kudus und Affen sichten. Unsere Freunde in einem Baumhaus weiter im Camp hatten das Glück nicht. Einen Leoparden könnten wir hören. Die Nachtsafari war aufregend und Mut vielen Tiersichtungen. Auch wenn wir keine Raubtiere zu sehen bekommen haben, waren wir froh diese Erfahrung gemacht zu haben. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und wirklich hilfsbereit. Leider ist einiges etwas in die Jahre gekommen, funktioniert nicht einwandfrei oder hakt. Schönheitsfehler die sicher ganz leicht korrigiert werden können in Zukunft.

- Jörg (9/5): - Toller Aufenthalt im Baumhaus "Bushwillow". Highlights waren die Badewanne mit Aussicht, die Außendusche und die Möglichkeit direkt vom Baumhaus viele Tiere zu beobachten. Ein Wasserloch war direkt vor unserem Haus und wurde während unseres Aufenthalts u. a. von Zebras, Impalas und einer Giraffe besucht. Das leckere Abendessen wird stimmungsvoll in einer Boma serviert. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es werden viele (kostenpflichtige) Aktivitäten angeboten. Der Pool war sehr kalt und auch nicht ganz sauber.

Les repas étaient très bons, le personnel adorable, les chambres sont très belles et originales nichées dans les arbres. Le cadre est aussi exceptionnel au milieu des singes et des girafes ! Rien.

- Herman (8/5): - Het is een mooie en leuke lokatie en om in een mooie uit de kluiten gewassen boom hut te slapen en buiten te douche. Omdat het park waarop de lodge staat niet in open verbinding met het Krugerparrk staat vindt je er minder dieren. Wel giraffen en buffels maar voor de big five moet je er niet zijn. Toch is het een aanrader! De Sun Set game drive was erg leuk omdat we tot op slechts 2 m afstand buffels benaderden. Ook een aanrader is de Bush walk was ook een aparte beleving. Jammer dat het vooraf boeken van de activiteiten in ons geval niet goed ging omdat de web site niet goed functioneerde. Maar alles werd ter plekke gewoon eenvoudig geregeld. Onze activiteiten die we online boekten werden tot twee keer toe geannuleerd na het sturen van een e-mail is het wel gelukt

De excursies die je bij de lodge doet zijn een leuke ervaring, verwacht alleen geen leeuwen, neushoorns, olifanten te zien. Wel giraffe en zebra’s bijvoorbeeld. -
- Sandra (9/5): De moeite waard! - De locatie tussen de dieren was echt top. We dachten dat we game drives zouden maken in het private park maar dit bleek Kruger zelf te zijn. Ook was het buiten douchen in de kou en het donker een beetje een uitdaging.

- Audrey (10/5): Stunning individual treehouses, unique and comfortable - Our tree house, Mountain View, was amazing, with stunning views. The first night treated us to a thunder and lightning show which was spectacular. The lodge itself was friendly and welcoming, with great food (including catering for a vegetarian). The night-drive was really interesting, and a good change from daytimes in the Kruger. This was our second visit to Pezulu, and I’m sure we will return again

- Zara (8/5): Gorgeous authentic African experience in our very own treehouse - We loved our treehouse, it was a wonderful experience. Less on the luxurious side, more on the authentic African experience. The staff were lovely, and especially caring and inclusive with the kids, the outdoor shower just gorgeous, as well as the bath tub with a view. They were very accomodating with booking activities and making everything we wanted possible. I would caution booking this in summer, we had one 37 degree day there, and the airconditioner made little to no impact. Some times when we were booking activities, key details were not mentioned, like the school at the NGO not being open on the weekend so no kids there (though we probably should have guessed that), and on safari the driver took us further, which was very kind, however it made it a 14 hour day and we were all exhausted.

Toda a equipe do Pezulu transforma cada momento em algo em único. Todos os jantares são feitos ao redor da fogueira e os passeios mágicos. Nao pense duas vezes em reservar sua estadia. - Maria (10/5): Highly recommendable and unique experience! - Our stay at Pezulu Tree House was amazing! The staff was super friendly and helpful. And what an extraordinary experience to sleep in a tree house. We booked 2 whole-day tours in the Kruger park, a morning “Off the Beaten Track” and a Sunset tour with Akani, who is very talented, knowledgeable about wildlife and has laser eyes to spot animals in the far distance! The other highlight was the dining experience with great food in front of a fire pit. We definitely would love to come back !
- Natalia (10/5): We had a wonderful time here - My husband and I spent a few days in one of the tree houses -what a fantastic design! Our room/ house was very well equipped (aircon, fridge, coffee/ tea, fresh towels every day) and had an indoor bathroom as well as an outdoor shower (!). The staff were absolutely lovely and extremely accommodating with our activity requests and dietary requirements. Food was simply amazing - fresh and tasty- and big portions were served everyday. The whole lodge is located in one of the nature reserves so after day one, we got used to seeing a passing ostrich, impalas, kudu or a monkey while having a breakfast. Amazing place. Nothing.

- Sofia (8/5): Original lodge for first time visitor in South Africa - We came with our kids (8yo and 5 yo) end of October 2024. We loved the experience of being up by the trees. Fortunately we upgraded to the honeymoon room. Our room had a front view of the plain where we could see buffalo, giraffes, kudus, baboons and all kinds of wildlife. During dinner everyone is around a pit fire, this allows for conversation with other guests and sharing experiences in their travels. I wish this was more common! The major set back for us were 1) the amount of mosquitos that were in our room. we totally understand the lodge is in the middle of the bush but we also noticed a lot of situations where this could be avoided. We noticed pools of stagnant water right by the entrance and the lack of netting around the room, there were wide gaps by the floor and swarms of mosquitos around the room. Living in a malaria area and we knowing how bad mosquitoes can get; It was very disappointing how the lodge was managing this. 2) seeing tires and scraps around the property when doing the junior ranger course. The tires and metal scraps should be cleaned up. 3) As nature enthusiasts we noticed a lot of mistakes in nature facts. Perhaps a refresher course is needed?
- Rob (10/5): The stay at pezulu tree house and kruger park is one of the highlights of our trip in south africa - Perfect place to stay with everything taken care off. Driving to this location preferably requires a suitable car (dirt roads).

- Astrid (9/5): Superb - Very good advice and recommendations from Charlotte. The Elephant experience was amazing and we enjoyed the bush walk. Lovely varied breakfast - great fruit salad - and delicious dinner choices on offer. This has got nothing to do with Pezulu itself. However, something to consider perhaps - it is quite far from the main road (ca. 15 km dirt road) and about 40 km from Orpen Gate (Kruger).
- David (10/5): A safari before the safari - very accommodating staff, lovely food and friendly environment - The individual tree houses are amazing - saw zebra, buffalo, monkeys and giraffe from my bed Outside shower- in my particular room only as I understand- was fine for a couple of days but if you are particular about that make sure you get a different room- for me it was part of the wonderful experience

- Koen (9/5): Very nice small scale outdoor lodge experience in the middle of the bush - Extremely friendly and helpfull staff, the remote location is very nice and the set-up of the tree houses is on another level. The bathroom is too open and not very easy accessible (especialy when it’s raining at night). Also we missed blankets during the chilly dinner sessions and breakfast sessions.
