- Susanne (10/5): - The hotel is fabulous. The Lodge is comfortable and quiet, which suited us.
We had breakfast and dinner in the hotel, dinner in the dining room. After dinner we went to the bar/pub, which is also exceptionally good, with great atmosphere.
Food was phantastic, the breakfast choice unbelievable. I have also recommended it to a friend with gluten intolerance - they really do cater for everybody. If you came with a meat eater, a vegan and a gluten intolerant family member - you will have plenty to choose from, no problem at all. Service and attention to detail were impressive. But it is also a very warm, welcoming and relaxing place.
I am in no doubt that the bar food is great, too - we saw plenty of people eating there.
One of our favourite hotels. We liked everything and will come back.

- Keith (7/5): Reasonable value for a one night stay. Wouldn’t work for any longer. - Good for the price but very small accommodation. For the price was ok

We had a room upgrade on arrival it was beautiful. Nothing. Couldn’t fault it
- Una (3/5): Accommodation (lodge) not good. Setting stunning. Wedding amazing - It was cheaper than main hotel. I had breakfast in the hotel Not spacious. Not clean. No towels left on second day. Tv remote was disgusting had never been cleaned. What was point of ‘lobby area’? Nothing there. Mould on windows & shower. No details in room of facilities or times/details

The food is always amazing ther is no better anywhere and iv been to a lot of hotels over the years. Highly recommend it amazing. What's not to like everything is perfect.
- Anita (10/5): Our stay in Harvey's Point was superb. This is an exceptional hotel. We will return. - Our two night booking was for the Lodge but as we were upgraded to an Executive Suite within the main hotel on arrival, I cannot comment on the facilities at the Lodge.
The upgrade was a very pleasant surprise. The Executive Suite is a large, beautifully decorated, luxurious space. The beds and bed linen are extremely comfortable. The facilities in the room (bathroom, kitchenette, mini bar, Lounge area) are all superb.
The hotel is extremely comfortable and has amazing views of the lake particularly from the bars and restaurant.
The food is of the highest quality. The staff are friendly and kind and go out of their way to be helpful.
This was our first time in Harveys Point and we will definitely return. I cannot praise it highly enough. This is a superb hotel in every way. Everything was exceptional.

- sadia (10/5): Beautiful location - Great stay overall. The hotel is in a good location, very clean, and has nice amenities. The staff were friendly. One thing to note, make sure to book your breakfast time in advance. We didn’t realise this and had to take an early slot as the later slots were booked up.

- Jennifer (5/5): Would not stay again - The Main hotel was lovely. Breakfast was fabulous with lots of variety to choose from. Walk & views of lake are spectacular. Rooms were very small & cramped. There was a mildew smell in the entrance & rooms. Shower was very cramped & dated. Very odd set up when you arrive, you have to go to main hotel to check in.

- Paul (9/5): Beautiful setting beautiful hotel and hope to be back - Harveys is in a beautiful setting. The hotel is classic but comfortable. Lovely time of the year to visit with all the Christmas decorations On our first day we found the service at breakfast very slow and felt there was a bit of an attitude with the staff when we asked about our hot breakfast taking so long. Turns out the waitress hadnt given in our order and then myself and my wife were served our breakfast at different times. A bit disappointing when there is such good expectations on Harveys Point
- Jessica (10/5): Amazing stay with amazing lake side views! - The views of the lake were totally amazing and the staff couldn’t do enough for us! We even got upgraded to a better suite due to the kindness of the receptionist which included tea, coffee and cookies. Nothing :)
- Elizabeth (10/5): DEFINATELY WILL BE BACK IN THE SUMMER MONTHS - tHIS HOTEL IS EXCELLENT BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS WAS AT A WEDDING ALL WAS EXCEPTIONAL FOOD, ETC WASNT SO KEEN ON THE LOCATION BIT OUT OF THE WAY BUT OTHERWISE BEAUTIFUL

- Deirdre (10/5): Will do a return visit - We stayed three nights in total and will return. The cabaret night in particular was really good fun and great value. There is a warmth and friendliness to this hotel from the staff. Beginning with breakfast till late. Cookery demonstration and wine tasting was most enjoyable and bedrooms amazing. See you soon again Thank you Harvey’s Point 😎❤️🎶 Nothing at all I could recommend for improving
- bernie (5/5): The surrounding was magnificant but the room in Lodge let it down. - The breakfast was beautiful in most scenic surroundings and the main hotel was lovely The room in the lodge was very small for 2 people. the beds while comfortable just wasn't what I was expecting. No room for luggage it was all a bit cramped.
- Faddel (10/5): -
- Leonardo (10/5): -
- TARA (10/5): Amazing. Will def be back - Amazing staff. Super comfy beds. Lovely hotel
- Cathy (10/5): - Breakfast selection buffet was wonderful! The lodge rooms were small as outlined by the hotel but comfortable!
- Cheryl (10/5): - Hated to leave. So beautiful.
- Thomas (8/5): Enjoyable stay. - Almost everything. Loved the lounge and reading area in lodge. Peaceful and quiet with great views. Outside seating area beautiful overlooking the lake. Breakfast amazing. Bar and all the staff very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed walk with Noel . Shelves above single beds aren't needed and risk injury to head when sitting up and getting out of bed. I did hit my head on a couple of times on the wooden shelves above bed. I did also notice that the sink plughole the rim connecting to the delf sink had debrief from people rinsing their mouth.. I myself use a nail brush or Toothpick to remove this. When I lifted up the tap to put it on I found sticky debris there also just needed that extra bit of attention.. Otherwise it was very clean.
- Michael (10/5): -
- Norman (10/5): - Food was Delicious 😋 The walk from the lodge to the hotel was a short distance but was quite difficult for a disabled person
- Veronica (10/5): -
- Elaine (10/5): A luxurious treat in stunning location close to Donegal town - Stunning location within easy reach of Donegal Town. Such a treat to stay at the hotel and eat at Harvey’s Bar restaurant. The Lodge accommodation was comfortable but gave you access to the splendour of Harvey’s Point hotel.
- William (10/5): Exceptional - Exceptional hotel. Staff were amazing.
We got a free upgrade to the main hotel which was a nice surprise as it was our anniversary.
Breakfast to our room has to be experienced.
Will definitely be back.
- yvonne (10/5): - Clean, comfortable accomodation, multiple choice, tasty breakfast, picturesque location.
- Constandinos (8/5): - The hotel staff as always were exceptional.
It was our first time in the lodge for over 30 years as we normally stay in the hotel and I guess in terms of accommodation I guess you get what you pay for!
The food and service was excellent
- ELIZABETH (6/5): Main hotel is very good but the lodge was disappointing - Good location. Good breakfast The lodge is very tired. Wallpaper peeling off walls. Shower grouting was mouldy

- Deborah (10/5): - The view overlooking Loch Eske is a wonderful back drop to the hotel. Staff very pleasant and a tranquil stay, with a super breakfast
- Thelma (10/5): - Comfort, location The flies at the buffet breakfast - food sitting open and flies lighting on the food - disgusting

- Nuno (10/5): -
- John (7/5): -
- Nicole (10/5): Comfy, enjoyable and great value - Room is small but perfectly clean and comfortable. Amazing value considering you get to use all the wonderful facilities Harvey’s Point has to offer and you get the excellent breakfast! Double bed option would be nice in the Lodge but the two single beds were perfect
- Manuel (10/5): -
- Damian (8/5): Enjoyable stay - Breakfast was excellent Lodge room was very small
- LUC (10/5): Fabulous place, incredible customer service - The place is absolutely beautiful, and the personnel is extremely customer oriented and highly professional. We were really impressed by the service from Eilis (with such elegance!) and Raquel (very good site seeing advice) as well as all other staff members. Breakfast and dîner were also excellent. Many thanks. Not staying more time 😀!
- Paul (10/5): Affordable accommodation with luxury benefits - Beautiful surroundings, luxury hotel with affordable prices
- Des (8/5): - An outstanding & beautiful place to stay.
The staff are amazing and clearly well trained.
I think we met the owner (manager) briefly who was circulating and chatting to guests.
His passion clearly shows in how the Hotel is run.
We stayed in the Lodge which was nice but there was noise from what I think was the generator room which spoiled our experience slightly.
We would stay here again.
- Stephen (10/5): -
- Geraldine (10/5): 💯 - The food was fab ..breakfast was the best 👌 ..A nice ambience in the bar with music..
The lady taking you to your table for breakfast was an absolute lady who gave us several ideas on how to spend out day 🙌 The walk back to the lodge in the rain
- James (8/5): -
- Sharon (10/5): Relaxing - Beautiful location and best breakfast I have had in any hotel Unable to have a cool shower during a rare heatwave
- Kalaminsky (9/5): -
- Rowena (10/5): Superb - Beautiful location, fabulous food and excellent staff.
- Paul Donegal (4/5): - Harveys Points' breakfast is lovely, and we met Noel, he is a real gent The standard of the hotel was always incredibly high, but as we booked late, we couldn't get our usual bedroom in the hotel. Unfortunately, our only option was the Lodge, well its more like grannies, spare bedrooms, or prison cell, very small and very poorly decorated. This is well below the standard that you would expect from an exceptional hotel, and to say we were disappointed would be an understatement
- Monika (6/5): - Unterbringung in der Lodge:
+ super Lage, freundliches aufmerksames Personal, tolles Frühstück,
- sehr einfaches Zimmer, sehr sehr hellhörig, krachend zufallendeTüren (keine Dämmung), in der Dusche keine Temperaturregelung (zu heiß)
- Nuria (10/5): fantastic - tot tot perfecte
- Maureen (6/5): - Location. Rooms were exceptionally small for the cost.
- Kathleen (7/5): -
- yaron (8/5): - We loved the breakfast, the view, the quiet, the high level of maintenance of the place, and of course the cleanliness. Lack of direction to the customer, no signage on the door to contact reception in the large hotel,
- Claire (10/5): - Great reception on arrival and the staff made a special effort to make me feel comfortable as i was travelling on my own. I had a beautiful meal in the bar and the breaskfast the next morning was fabulous.
- Jason (10/5): -
- Patrick (10/5): - All aspects excellent.
- Robert (10/5): - Beautiful property and wonderful food
- Patrick (8/5): -
- Christina (9/5): - Wonderful hotel, in beautiful surroundings. Very pleasant and friendly staff..Amazing breakfast. It was a beautiful sunny day which added to our stay . The bed was very comfortable. Only 2 little niggles really. We had difficulty regulating the shower. Unfortunately we were awoken at 7 a.m with a very loud humming noise. I'm not sure if it was a generator starting up, but it continued until we checked out later in the morning. Everything else was great.
- Kate (10/5): Very very enjoyable - We were upgraded to the hotel so it’s hard to comment on The Lodge
- Jim (8/5): -
- Mark (7/5): Good lake location - Loved the venue and dining selections for breakfast. However we were somewhat snubbed for dinner without reservations. Room in the lodge was extremely tight as was the shower. Room was hot as well and open windows were tough with midges flying in
- Greet (9/5): Heerlijk tot rust komen in deze geweldige omgeving! - De ligging is geweldig, het ontbijt was top! Niet van toepassing
