- Verified traveler (6/5): - Great location, but for $544 for two nights everything needs to be right. Never got one tv to work, the other had constant problems with the remote. The small hot water heater meant that whoever got the second shower ran out of hot water. We had problems regulating the heat, but that may have been something we did wrong. The cleaning was not great. You could see the commode from the bed in the master and it looked like it had never seen a brush under the rim. We would have been afraid to use the dryer. Not sure if the vent was loose or there was just never any cleaning, but the wall behind the dryer had lint almost to the ceiling and it was piled deep beside the unit.
- David S (8/5): Great Beach View - We had a great view of the beach and gulf. This is what made it enjoyable. We love to walk on the beach. There is a nice state park within easy walking distance on the beach. The unit was clean and spacious for the two of us. It can sleep 6 but that would be crowded. You can tell the resort is older but well maintained. The internet wi-fi was the best we have ever had while on vacation. The bed and couch could use an upgrade. Restaurants are within easy access. We particularly liked the Cracker Barrel and Olive Garden that you can reach by back roads. The biggest down side is the traffic on US Hwy 98 which is under construction. We heard it will be done in in 2020. :-(
