We arrived early, but in time for a wine tasting and tour of the cellars with Poétie, who gave us a very informative tour of the Château, with three wines to taste at the end. We then checked in and Rachel showed us to our room and explained the amenities. The property is a safe 15-20 minute walk to the village of St-Emilion, meandering through vineyards and then Chemin De Ramonet to the cathedral. Breakfast was a feast! Rachel was kind enough to prepare us a light snack for our early departure the following morning. She is a gem! The domaine also has a billiard room and board games, a lovely garden to sip wine…or Champagne, which is offered at a very reasonable price. Everything is well thought of.

The tree house accommodation is especially amazing. We stayed 5 nights in the Tree house and loved it. Comfortable bed, simple and nice bathroom, with a large deck that overlooks the entire winery. Uninterrupted views and totally private from the main chateau building. Breakfast was tasty with a good mix of pastries, eggs, coffee, fruit and yoghurt, jam and cakes.

Le lieu est magnifique, une vraie parenthèse au cœur des vignes. La chambre était décorée avec goût et la literie très confortable. Rachel a été aux petits soins du début à la fin, rendant notre expérience encore plus agréable. Le petit-déjeuner était délicieux - mention spéciale au cuisinier pour ses œufs brouillés, un vrai régal ! Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Die Gastgeberin war reizend, die Weine des Château hervorragend und die besonderen Weinkeller lohnen eine Führung! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Es gab absolut nichts das wir zu bemängeln gehabt hätten.

• Emma (10/5): Beautiful and peaceful stay at a vineyard that's walking distance to Saint-Emilion town - The location is great -- you are surrounded by beautiful vineyards and can walk into Saint-Emilion town in 10-15 minutes. The staff is very friendly and the interior design is beautiful. We slept very well as it's so calm and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast service is 5 stars: delicious meal that includes homemade yogurt, granola, pastries, omelet, and fruit. And then to top it all off, your stay includes free access to the chateau's wine tour and tasting. Nothing.

• Ivan (10/5): Felt at home at one of St. Emilion's incredible vineyard and Chateau. - Everything within the property was meticulously organized, and beautifully arranged for guests to enjoy their stay. Our treehouse room had incredible views of the vineyard and St. Emilion, with an incredibly comfortable bed, and access to the pool. The breakfasts were homemade by our host and chef de cuisine, from fresh squeezed orange juice to perfectly cooked omelettes. Our hostess arranged a crib for our baby, showed us around the property, and made every effort to provide comfort and ease for our stay at Franc Mayne. The wine tour is also such a delightful bonus of the stay. We will definitely be back as often they will have us. nothing.

Paragonato ad altre strutture decisamente svetta rispetto alle altre della stessa categoria. Colazione e sala degli ospiti buonissime. Forse le bici a disposizione potrebbero essere elettriche. Per il resto tutto perfetto.

Stilvoll eingerichtetes Zimmer mit Blick über die Reben. Ausgesprochen freundliches Personal. Das charmante Städtchen St. Emilion ist einfach zu Fuss zu erreichen. Interessante Führung durch das Weingut inkl. die eindrucksvollen Steinkkeller. Uns hat hier einfach alles gefallen.

• Dawn (10/5): Exceptional - Warm welcome by Rachel on arrival, she showed us round and was so lovely. The property is beautiful, exceptionally clean and has a great feel about it. The pool was great and relaxing after a full day cycling. The views across the vineyards are stunning. It’s only a 5 minute cycle ride back into St Emillion where we had our evening meal. Really could not fault this stay.

The tree house (our room) had the most amazing view of the vineyard. The main building is very comfortable, unfortunately we have stayed at the tree house which was very close to production area and had to listen to the engine the whole night 😞

The intimate B&B is beautifully appointed and furnished in the former winery residence. The location, a 10-minute walk to the town, could not be better. The hospitality is superb and personal. Included was a great tour of the hitoric winery and a tasting of Grand Cru wines. Also, a great breakfast is included.

We did the tour first - they offer free tour for guests - before we checked in. Jean wis so knowledgeable and very friendly. The Chateau is absolutely beautiful and comfortable. It is very peaceful. Rachel welcomed us and the hospitality and service are excellent. We were at the treehouse and that was an experience in itself. We woke up to the wonderful view of the entire vineyard. The Chateau is 3 mins drive away from Saint Emilion town. The treehouse required you to climb up the stairs with your luggage. I was expecting this and I did not have a very heavy luggage so it is manageable.

• Sequoia (10/5): Magnifique! - Our visit to Chateau Franc Mayne was exceptional. Rachel & Pacale were superb hosts and the wine tour with Veronique was "magnifique". The breakfast of fresh fruit with homemade merlot jelly/apricot jam with rosemary, fresh yogurt, and eggs is to die for. The garden and pool area is beautifully kept. The walk to St Émilion through the surrounding vineyards is quite special. It's a place to make special memories. Very minor things. The servicing of the room fell short of what we expected . We had to request extra toilet paper and water. The shower in Jardin de Mayne spills on to the floor.
