Angefangen bei der Lage der Unterkunft mitten in den Catlins, über die herzliche Begrüßung, die absolute Privatsphäre, die gewährt wird, bis hin zur geschmackvollen Einrichtung und der Ausstattung der Küche. Kein „zusammengesammeltes Porzellan“ sondern alles ist harmonisch aufeinander abgestimmt. Der Whirlpool ist der Hit - wirklich tolle Massagedüsen und der Blick schweift dabei über die Hügel und Wiesen der Catlins. Hier wird sich wirklich bemüht, den Gästen eine unvergessliche Zeit zu bereiten! Alles war perfekt!

Perhaps my misunderstanding but I had been expecting a spa pool/ hot tub as per the Booking.com pictures but not in cabin we had.

- Spencer (10/5): A real kiwi experience - Beautiful surroundings we felt completely immersed in the New Zealand native bush, you can tell the property is well taken care of by the hosts, which as a kiwi i really appreciate. Loved listening to the native birds in the morning and the rustle of the trees in the wind, and looking up at the stars from our private spa, a completely relaxing experience.

- Travellingon2022 (10/5): Tranquility in a unique setting - Our cabin, Kaku, surrounded by trees and birdlife, overlooked rolling green fields dotted with sheep and the surrounding hills. It was so peaceful. Within 2 minutes walk were magical forest paths lined with magnificent tree ferns, crown ferns and undisturbed vegetation. The cabin was beautifully decorated, and contained books on the area, games, a well equipped small kitchen with a barbecue on the balcony. The old house on the estate was built in the 1920s and creates a feeling of timelessness. The owners helpfully supplied local history and tourist information and were so welcoming. We would have happily stayed longer in this unique oasis of tranquility and nature and would recommend it to anyone who appreciates these special qualities.

Being some way out in the country the outlook over farmland was very peaceful with the only sound to be heard that of birdsong. Not having a TV was great (no temptation to watch mindlessly); the only minor downside being the lighting could have been a bit brighter to make reading easier.

- curtis (10/5): Remote cabin with a beautiful view. - The resort is in a self contained area of bush several kilometers off the main road. We had an individual cabin a hundred meters from anyone else, that looked out of rolling hills and farmland. The cabin had a full kitchen and was very comfortable. There was no TV, which actually added to the peaceful, serene nature of the accommodation. The owners were extremely nice and helpful. They made us an excellent dinner (driving back in to town for dinner is a bit of a drive, and only a couple cafes in Owaka). I wish we could have stayed more than one night, and taken advantage of the bush walks and relaxation.
- mso415 (8/5): 静寂と落ち着き - 街から遠く離れた広い敷地の中のコテッジ。敷地内にはハイキングコースのような散歩道があり、全部歩くと2時間以上かかる。羊の群れや綺麗な山並みをみながら林の中を歩くのは何とも気持ちが良い。コテッジ内は広々としていて特にWi-Fiがサクサクと快適につながるのは爽快。チェックアウトも11時なので朝もゆっくりできる。
