• Verified traveler (4/5): - When we arrived the operators did not have any record of our booking. We spent one night in the advertised room then got moved to really terrible old accommodation which is Lizzie Villa and not the advertised picture on expedia. There is a hotel at the back of Lizzie Villa called Cuib Villa which is new and the advertised picture on expedia. The Lizzie Villa accommodation is awful. When asked about recompensing the difference in cost between the two accommodations I was told that they could not do that. We were moved again after spending one night in the awful accommodation back to Club Villa. Expedia need to sort out the mistake and change the name of the accommodation or the picture.

• Rochelle (4/5): Confusion - There was confusion about which accommodation I had booked and they didn’t have my booking to start with. What I had booked was not what was shown in the photos on the website. Very disappointing. However, it was resolved in the end.
• Mrs K A (6/5): - A basic guesthouse in a great position set back from the hustle and bustle of Ella's cafes and bars. A perfect cheap base for exploring the surrounding beautiful countryside.
• Lisa (10/5): Great location and very comfortable - We loved our stay at Lizzie Villa, the room was big, bed comfortable, good Wifi and had a nice balcony area. Staff were very helpful, even phoning our driver for us when we left something in the car. Breakfast was delicious, great Sri Lankan omelet, fruit, fresh juice and tea & toast. Very conveniently located close to the centre of town, but on a back road so no road noise. The only drawback was they had a dog that was locked in a kennel/cage at night so whined and cried all night long!
