Guest Reviews
- Chloe (10/5): Hidden gem near the falls! - This was such a hidden gem!
Very kind hosts- very flexible with the late check in process despite us arriving very late - much appreciated!
The property was adorable and extremely clean and well decorated - you could tell they had put a lot of care into this place and in the renovations. The backyard with the bird feeder and deck was a nice touch.
Bed and overall suite was very comfortable and clean.
And Breakfast was delicious! We had a taiwanese scallion egg dish and blueberry pancakes with an assortment of drinks
Short pleasant walk from Niagra falls - 15 minutes and very safe residential area
- Scott (10/5): - The property was gorgeous and the hosts were delightful. Our room was clean and welcoming.
It was an easy walk to the Falls! Breakfast was delicious! We are planning to come back in the summer. Nothing!
- Johnson (10/5): - My stay was everything I was hoping for and more. Such a welcoming stay with the hosts not only wanting me to be able to enjoy staying there, but to enjoy all parts of my visit to the city and surrounding areas. I expanded on what I planned on doing based on some their recommendations and it made the experience better than I hoped for.
- Supakorn R (9/5): - The hosts were kind and gentle.
- Diana (10/5): - The owners are extremely helpful and accommodating. Niagara Falls was gorgeous and Jamie provided directions and information about the park and town.
- Dalyn (9/5): Our stay was relaxing, peaceful, and filled with great conversations with the other house guests. - The breakfast was delicious and had very filling portions. We had something different every morning. Jamie was a gracious, sweet hostess while her husband cooked a hot meal. The street where the house is located is very nice with easy parking. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and relaxing in the evening. The king size bed was very comfortable. As an unfamiliar bed and breakfast guest, I didn't realize that "private bathroom" meant that the bathroom was across the hall. The other 2 rooms in the house have attached private bathrooms. We adapted. The bathroom was very nice with room to store our essential bath items. Our room had a very nice make-up mirror and table which were very convenient. If you have difficulty with stairs, this house may not be the best for you. The walk is close to the trolley but perhaps a little longer than you envisioned if you walk to the Falls.
- Suzanne (10/5): -
- Steven (10/5): Very comfortable like home. - Was in walking distance of the places we wanted to visit. Very clean, met new people due tot he way it was designed to interact. Nothing.
- Magdalena (9/5): Great stay! - Clean, pretty. Hosts were so kind. Home made breakfast was great and snacks, water, coffee and tea were available.
- Sonal (10/5): - Host are wonderful people and breakfast is such a delight
- matthew (6/5): - Bathroom was across the hall and very small!

- Maureen (10/5): Staying at the Butler House B&B is a must. - We loved everything about this beautiful B&B. Just a short distance to Rainbow Bridge to Canada. Peaceful to sit on front porch with cup of coffee. Obvious to see that Dan and Jamie are ultimate hosts, from beautifully decorated interior and exterior of the house. Dan is outstanding chef and foods served were tasty and delicious. Jamie is perfect hostess with care in serving you the best experience. N/A
- Farley (10/5): Thumbs up! - Lovely old home N/A
- Frances (10/5): Wonderful B&B hosted by a great couple who told us about the hidden gems in the area - Beautifully restored house within walking distance to the falls.
- Dhilon (10/5): We had a wonderful stay with Dan being lovely host We felt as if we are at our own home We highly recommend people to s - Lovely home cooked breakfast ❤️❤️❤️

- Sandra (9/5): A friendly and comfortable place to stay in Niagara Falls, with delicious breakfasts. - The Butler House is well located for sightseeing in Niagara Falls, within walking distance of most places of interest. Our hosts, Jamie and Dan, were very friendly and ready to offer information when asked. Our room was not overly large but it was comfortable, and the home-cooked, two-course breakfasts were outstanding! I would have liked having more information available onsite: maps, shuttle routes, list of local events. Dan and Jame were happy to answer specific questions, but a couple of detailed maps and/or pamphlets left in each room would have been convenient as well. For instance, we knew that somewhere at the Aquarium was a stop for catching the free shuttle bus around town, but we didn't know on which side street of the Aquarium the stop was located, so we had to walk all around the building to find it (missing several shuttle busses in the process). Obviously, this wasn't our hosts' fault, but it was a small bit of information that would have been very useful to mention.
- Chen (10/5): -
- Emanuele (10/5): Amazing! - Everything was perfect! Very friendly owners, clean and beautiful room, excellent breakfast!
- PRISCILLA (10/5): Beautiful property!! Jamie and Dan were very attentive. Each breakfast a 10/10. I wholeheartedly recommend this pl - The property is stunning!! Well maintained and super clean. The mirror in the bathroom was not suitable for my height for someone who’s 4’11. 🥴
- Marie (10/5): -
- Gary (9/5): Nice clean and comfortable accommodation. - Set in quiet location. Nice style to the property Breakfast no choices
- Sheryl (3/5): Disappointed with this stay - We got a king bedroom with a detached bathroom. There is nothing on the booking.com site for this bed and breakfast that indicates that a Deluxe King Suite does NOT have an en suite bathroom. We are senior citizens and we each have medical challenges that make having an en suite bathroom very important to us. I would NOT have booked this B&B had I known beforehand. Here is the description for a Deluxe King Suite on booking.com: 1 king bed

- Ekaterina (9/5): Superb -
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Charles (8/5): Very good -
- Korinteli (10/5): Historical bliss with a side of breakfast awesomeness!! - The breakfast was absolutely amazing and delicious! The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. They have lots of recommendations for the guests, they even offer maps and umbrellas for the rainy days. Overall the house is amazing. They did a great job decorating and even did a surprise set up for my birthday! The only take aways were the lack of a personal refrigerator and microwave. We had gone out to eat and had left overs but weren't able to bring them back. It's an older historical home so it has thin walls and squeaky original hardwood floors, so it can be a little disturbing at times
- Vanessa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Charmaine (10/5): Great, going to tell anyone coming to area to stay here - Cleanliness, close to attractions
- Douglas (10/5): Great place to stay in Niagara Falls! - The location was great for walking to Niagara Falls and the Park! The hosts were the best we have met on our many journeys: great breakfast, comfortable home, snacks, fun to share stores with, and very comfortable rooms. Highly recommend The Butler B&B!
- Gladys (10/5): The experience was very refreshing and relaxing. - The staff at the facility were very friendly and efficient. The facility was very clean and comfortable. The food was very good and filling; I didn't need any lunch because we were so well fed. NA
- Robert (10/5): Quiet, relaxing, and just what we were hoping our stay would be. - Great location, quiet and peaceful. Can't really say we didn't like it but breakfast is not via menu. One size fits all but we loved Jamie's food!
- John (10/5): Exceptional - This charming home was wonderful in every way! We loved coming back after an activity-filled day and playing card games in the living room. Not only was breakfast delicious each day, but we also loved chatting with other guests and our hosts, plus watching the birds at the feeders in the backyard. Jamie and Dan are outstanding hosts!
- Sarah (10/5): The Perfect Stay! - We had a truly delightful stay at Butler House Guest House. From the moment we arrived, the Dan & Jamie made us feel incredibly welcome with their warm hospitality and attentive service. The guest house is beautifully maintained, combining charm and comfort in equal measure. Our room was spotless, tastefully decorated, and offered all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay.
Breakfast was a real highlight—freshly prepared with quality ingredients and served with a personal touch that made each morning special. The location is convenient yet peaceful, providing a perfect base for exploring the local area. NA
- Simon (10/5): Highly recommend and can easily walk in 20 mins to the falls - Fantastic location, beautiful property , Dan and Jamie were very welcoming , giving us a great tip to experience the Skylon restaurant . We also loved sharing the lovely breakfast with other guests. Nothing
- Jonathan (10/5): We had a fantastic time and would stay there again. - The breakfast was excellent and well presented. The bed and bedding were very comfortable as were the bath towels. The Butler House made for a comfortable community feeling both with the owners and other patrons
- Deb (10/5): Memorable and will come and visit again! - Owners were so sweet. Loved the location and room was amazing!
- Patrick (9/5): Owners were great and breakfast was delicious -
- Craig (9/5): Had a wonderful couple of days - Beautiful old house with wonderful hosts and great breakfast
- Scott (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cheryl (10/5): We enjoyed this upscale, well-run B&B, very convenient to Niagara Falls and other attractions. - Dan and Jamie were wonderful hosts. The house was historic, but decorated in a very welcoming and updated way. The breakfasts were delicious, guests and neighbors were friendly. We walked to the Falls!
- Philip (9/5): Comfortable enjoyable stay in perfect location for Niagara falls. - Really beautiful accommodation and exceptionally friendly hosts. Knowledgeable regards area and things to do with personal experiences and recommendations of local restaurants. They had a set time breakfast whereby all guests sat with each other and ate and had breakfast together. We really enjoyed this. It was really enjoyable talking to the other guests about their experiences, plans and recommendations regards attractions in the area. Breakfast was different every day and was 2 courses. One savoury and one sweet. There was no choice, which could have been a problem, but we found everything beautifully cooked and delicious. Would really recommend, A small 20 minute walk to Niagara Falls Nothing
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rajeev (9/5): Cozy, quaint, charming, a home away from home - Such a lovely home like experience. Dan and Jamie were amazing hosts and run a cozy B&B in Niagara. It’s a 20-25 min walk to the American Falls, and if you find that too much there’s always an Uber on call. The breakfast made by Dan and served by Jamie was exceptional and the best part was making friends with strangers you meet at the breakfast table. Overall, a fantastic experience. Nothing to not like
- James (8/5): Great location for exploring Niagara Falls and comforable & casual accommodations, with a super friendly staff! -
- Laura (10/5): Really enjoyed staying there would stay there again or recommend someone to stay there - I breakfast was amazing. The staff was friendly and inviting. I wish that our bathroom was in our room . The neighborhood around the Airbnb was a little sketchy but actually street it was on was quite and fine
- Mary (10/5): Had a spectacular time. - The breakfast was delicious every day with something different spectacular. Enjoy every minute of it and the area was nice and quiet. We will be back. Nothing bad to say about the place. It was beautiful.
- Paula (10/5): Perfectly located and the friendly atmosphere - The Inn was so welcoming and homey . We took advantage of the living space for an afternoon of reading and relaxing.
The food was excellent.
Jamie and Dan were extremely friendly and hopeful.
- Hobaugh (10/5): Exceptional - A lovely place to stay. Dan and Jamie Craig makes you feel at home. The breakfasts are wonderful and it is a great location to visit Nigeria Falls.
- Amber (10/5): Exceptional -
- Da (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lai (8/5): Awesome stay! - The house itself - gave me a home feeling. Most of all, their warm hospitality n fabulous breakfast! They tried their best to accommodate me. But I'd have wished they provided other types of milk, not just cow's milk.
While the room is well furnished n clean, I'd wished there were more hooks or places to hang towels, clothing. There was only 1 in the bathroom.
- Beth (10/5): Butler House is a wonderful homey place to stay. Great breakfast, lovely hosts and amazing bedding! - Jamie and Dan were so friendly and welcoming. The house was very clean and loved the sheets, bedding and toiletries. They also provided a little bar for water, coffee, tea, snacks and homemade baked goods for any time of day. My favorite part was the breakfast because of the delicious 4 star quality food and we loved sitting and talking with the other guests. Very homey for the most part the thing I didn't care for was not under their control. I wished that it was a little closer to the attractions. We were a little confused as to how to get to the actual falls so we drove and parking was expensive.
We were definitely happy at the end of a long hot day though because we couldn't have walked the mile back to the house.
- Anne (1/5): Too scared to stay - We felt this property was misrepresented. The area was scary and did feel like we would be safe there.
- Dariel (10/5): We highly recommend The Butler House B&B for anyone traveling to Niagara Falls! - The quiet environment, coupled with the exceptional hospitality of hosts (Dan & Jamie), exceeded our expectations. Additionally, the breakfast each morning was phenomenal!
- Terri (10/5): Fantastic B and B - The location was within walking distance of Niagra Falls in a quaint neighborhood. The host and accommodations were stellar. The breakfast was excellent and they used fresh ingredients. We highly recommend this stay.
- Patricia (10/5): Perfect choice for a long stay and loved the ambiance and location to the falls etc. very nice host and hostess! - Comfortable, nice bedding, hot showers , great sitting areas, porch, nice breakfast
- Binny (1/5): very bad. we changed and went to another facility after a day. Would not recommend it to anyone. - facilities was very poor
no hot water in the day we arrived
- Judith (10/5): Beautiful immaculate historical house in quiet area in walking distance to Niagara Falls. - Beautiful and immaculate historical house with lovely hosts, great breakfast and great room. Nothing!
- John (8/5): Very good -
- Vandan (10/5): Amazing Delightful Stay! - The breakfast was amazing, Dan and Jamie are absolutely amazing hosts! The B&B has a very warm vibe to it and is walking distance from the Falls and all the major attraction spots. Would recommend 100%
- Deborah (10/5): Magical Memories in an iconic place. - The Butler House was wonderful. Dan and Jamie are excellent hosts and have created a very welcoming place. We really enjoyed the room, the house, the breakfast and the other guests. We would rebook for sure.

- Holland (10/5): Great experience all around. Excellent hosts and the perfect place to stay for our trip to Niagara. - Great location and hosts. Breakfast was excellent as well! Nothing
- Tillman (10/5): My wife and I were on our honeymoon and just loved everything about the place and the hosts. - Loved the historical feel. Nothing
- Jesse (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent stay at Butler House!!! 1st time staying in a B&B. It was an older house they remodeled so it has character. Jamie & Dan were fabulous hosts!! They had wonderful recommendations for places & restaurants to visit!! Centrally located to drive or walk to Niagara falls & Canada! We had an amazing time visiting the area for the 1st time! We were early for the season with late April so some areas had not opened yet but that only made it more enjoyable since didn’t have to deal with large crowds!! Breakfast was always something new but a great treat!! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit the area!!!
- Tonesha (10/5): Loved it! - Our stay was amazing! Jamie and Dan are an awesome, sweet couple! The room was so cute and clean. The house was beautiful and tge breakfast was delicious. They also recommended some very cool and interesting places to visit while we stayed there.
- Roger (10/5): Exceptional - We stayed 2 nights and were made very welcome. An absolute gem. The attention to detail was fantastic. Had 2 excellent night's sleep. Breakfast was delicious 😋. Location is perfect. Everything is walking distance. We walked over to the Canadian side!
- Andrew (10/5): Fantastic B&B within easy walking distance of the falls. - The warm welcome, the lovely property, the room, and especially the breakfasts. Nothing
- Stec (10/5): This is how a bed and breakfast enriches your experience! - Exceptional hospitality and great food! Jamie and Dan could not have been more accommodating, friendly, and gracious! Very conveniently located within walking distance of Niagara Falls. Each breakfast was delicious and the portions were just right (see photo). Honestly, there wasn't a thing that we didn't like.
- Victor (10/5): perfect getaway - the room, the bed, the shower room, the owners non
- Kathy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dorota (10/5): Very helpful host, Dan. Large bedroom and very comfortable bed. Substantial breakfast. Highly recommended. - The house itself is nice and in a very nice street (not all streets are nice!). There is no traffic noise - in fact you can just hear the American Falls from the bedroom at night! We walked to the Falls and back, including right over to Horseshoe Falls (although that might be too far for some folks, who might need a taxi/Uber/car). No issues.
- Patrizia (10/5): A wonderful place to get pampered and feel really taken care of in each and every way! - Truly exceptional B&B with lovely hosts, a family-type atmosphere, comfortable beds and delicious breakfast!! Basically everything around Niagara Falls is within walking distance, but the neighborhood itself very quiet and peaceful. Loved the cozy porch and complimentary fruit/snacks. Due to the old wiring in the house, the lights are basically on 24/7 which isn't terribly environmentally friendly, but can't seem to be helped (for now) due to the historic status of the building.....
- Catherine (10/5): Clean comfortable safe oasis at Niagra falls - You can’t fault this place. Dan and Jamie are very welcoming, the property has a website with all you need to know about anything local.
Loved this 1910 building with its original features and gorgeous wooden floors. It’s all old, but has been well renovated to make it todays standard of comfortable.
Location 2 blocks from the river in a quiet road, on road free safe parking, see my photo.
Comfortable bed
Powerful shower over the bath
Soft fluffy towels
Spotlessly clean
Coffee tea fruit always available
Awesome 2 course breakfast served at 08:30 with the other guests (there’s 4 rooms), so lovely to chat with other travellers.
CHILD FREE ZONE, so blissful peaceful. There wasn’t anything not to like.
- Tim (9/5): Superb - Living space etc was great. Coffee and cakes daily were lovely. Very welcoming.
- Eve (9/5): Superb - Breakfast was superb. The hosts are helpful and responsive. The house is lovely. A few areas have not been dusted or vacuumed for a long time, probably not a problem if you don't have allergies.
- Tanya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Doug (10/5): Highly recommend! - Jamie and Dan were extremely hospitable! We had to depart early on our last morning and a "to go" breakfast was prepared. Above and beyond! Couldn't figure out the TV.
- Alessandro (10/5): Exceptional -
- Terrie (10/5): Stay someplace unique and special with charm and warmth. - Welcoming, beautifully decorated, delicious breakfast & enjoyed other guests at breakfast.

- Keith (10/5): This is a MUST SEE and a MUST STAY! We loved everything about our stay a The Butler House!!! - The welcoming feeling, we felt right away when we arrived. Dan gave us lots of great info about the B&B and also things to do in the area. Our room was pristine, with lots of absolutely adorable touches. We knew if there was anything we were lacking Dan and Jamie would accommodate. The breakfasts were AMAZING! We had a great time meeting and talking with the other guests during our meal. And the best part was I accidentally left a gift for my granddaughter there. However, Jamie had found it in our room, packaged it up and we got it just days later after coming home! Now that is great service!!!
My granddaughter was very happy! Just can't say enough good things about The Butler House....we will definitely be back!!! Not long enough! We only were there for 2 nights!
- Sandra (9/5): Superb -
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elisabeth (10/5): Thé place to stay in Niagara Falls if you ask me! - The house is incredibly charming, breakfast is excellent and Jamie and Dan are very friendly and helpful hosts! From the house we could walk to all there is to see in Niagara Falls, simply perfect! Nothing.
- Chan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ingrid (10/5): Exceptional - Everything. Jaime and Dan makes you feel like you are in your own home. The breakfast they prepare are amazing very delicious and healthy.
- Kennell (10/5): Dan and Janie did an excellent job. We will definitely try to stay there again. - The breakfast was fabulous. The meals were very well prepared and it was truly gourmet dining. The snacks were delicious as well. There was nothing that we did not like!
- Peter (10/5): Character filled, spotlessly clean home, comfy bed and friendly hosts. An easy place to stay at. - The cooked breakfasts were delicious. It was wonderful to try different dishes. The servings were very large. The dining room was beautiful. We really appreciated the muffins and fresh fruit along with the hot drink availability throughout the day. The rooms we had access to oozed with character and were spotlessly clean. The linen spelt lovely. Our hosts were easy to deal with. Jamie was friendly and very easy to talk to while Dan is an amazing cook. We didn’t have a car and were happy to walk everywhere. This may not suit everyone.
- Carmen (10/5): Perfect! - We had a fantastic stay! Dan and Jamie were amazing. the house was clean, great hospitality, and the breakfast was delicious. The location was great; within walking distance to the falls and hiking trails. We would definitely go back!
- Bridget (10/5): Would highly recommend to others! - Liked that it was located close to falls, that the house maintained its period charm, that the hosts were friendly and gracious, and that breakfasts were unique! Liked it all!
- Anonymous (10/5): amazing - fabulous experience
- Sara (10/5): Exceptional - Jamie and Dan were great hosts! Very welcoming and accommodating! The breakfast was something different every day and always just as delicious. They are in a great location, within walking distance to the Falls! They also provided great recommendations for our stay and we’re just a delight to talk to and have as hosts. We would definitely stay again and would highly recommend for anyone planning a trip to the area!
- Shirley (10/5): Jamie and Dan are amazing and their place provided a quiet and comfortable haven. - Everything was perfect - Jamie and Dan, the Regatta room, distance to the falls, Dan’s breakfast.:) What’s not to like?
