Guest Reviews
- hstubble (10/5): Great Hotel - Great hotel.
The hotel is very clean and is centrally located to downtown.
Room are quiet and the staff is very helpful.
Highly recommend.
- Honbob2025 (10/5): Fixing a booking error - My staff had booked the wrong day for my arrival but desk clerk corrected that and provided a room for me. I have stayed at this facility many times and it is consistently good
- 80daveg (10/5): Josh and Customer Service - Just wanted to give a shout out to the night clerk Josh who went above and beyond in his customer service. I found that the black tea in the room was decaffeinated and I asked him if he had any more. He kindly grabbed a few packets and I went back to my room. The next day, upon checkout, there was an envelope filled with the decaf tea with my name on it! Thanks again, Josh! This hotel is awesome!
- 708malisav (10/5): Great Location and Parking! - The Hyatt Downtown Boise is super clean, and in the middle of everything. Plenty of parking and a great breakfast. Employees are super helpful as well as housekeeping is great. I only stay here for my business needs.
- swagst (10/5): Great value and great experience! - Excellent room and value. The front desk stay are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and nice and they have a Peloton bike available and nice exercise space.
- doctajay (10/5): Surprisingly nice Hyatt - Surprisingly nice Hyatt in the heart of downtown. Nice open modern lobby, great gym (with a Peloton too!!!). Very clean, quiet (some parts of downtown boise can be very loud on weekends). Will be back
- CindyS305 (10/5): Great location! - Great location! This hotel was super easy, clean, and in the right location. The breakfast was really good. We'll definitely stay here again when we visit our son in college.

Breakfast had good variety.

- Compass645232 (10/5): Excellent Stay in Downtown Boise - Great stay at Hyatt Place Boise! The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, everyone was genuinely friendly and attentive throughout my visit. The location couldn’t be better, with everything I needed just steps away. The hotel itself was spotless, with clean and comfortable rooms that made it easy to relax. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I would definitely stay here again!
- jairahr2015 (10/5): I’ll be back - Such a great location, right in Downtown, walking distance to shops and amazing food. Was a 5 minute walk from the Boise Centre where my conference was at. Rooms and hotel are VERY clean, very helpful and happy staff waiting to help with whatever you may need. Can’t wait to stay again.
- 647efrainb (10/5): Clean, well maintained, and great leadership! - The entire hotel was clean and well maintained. All employee interactions were hospitable and professional. Kelly (GM) and David (AGM) are doing an amazing job managing the property team!
- Brooke (10/5): - Walkable to restaurants and bars downtown. The hotel bar closes fairly early.
- Lou (10/5): - Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent and walkable to several restaurants, bars, etc. The facilities and room were very clean and maintained.
- Amber (10/5): - This location is so great! Downtown Boise is such a beautiful place.
- Carlos (10/5): - Location in downtown Boise is perfect. Add free parking, breakfast included, great room, and a price that is nearly half what other nearby hotels offer. Hyatt Place is from now on the first option I’ll consider when looking for hotels
- Stephanie (10/5): Will recommend and come back any time! - Very comfortable and clean and great location downtown!
- Connector547022 (10/5): Great stay, will return for another. - Great location and stay. Check in and out times are great, breakfast was good and having parking on site without a fee was nice in downtown.
- Q3587YKrichardk (6/5): We attended the Art Fair September 5 and 6, 2025. Parking in the downtown area is terrible. The vendors were pretty good - The downtown area is very difficult to get around in. It looks like it will get even more difficult when they make things more “bike friendly “. What a terrible idea.
There were lots of vendors and plenty to see
- michael (4/5): 3 star over priced. - Breakfast was very good. Expected Hyatt quality stay but basically 3 star. Over priced. Door locked from inside had to wait for management. Did not clean room for 2 days.
- Lisa (10/5): - great location; friendly staff
- Judith (9/5): - Our stay was amazing. Room was great and location was downtown.
- Crystal (10/5): - Loved my stay with my family! i will be returning for next years hot air balloon fest;) Staff was great! Breakfast was good on options. Rooms are not dusty, have to have a clean air filters for AC. Hot tub was nice! with the outdoor pool. I felt safe at this downtown location.
- Yevgeniya (10/5): -
- Rod (10/5): - Only thing i didnt like was that there isnt a safe in each bedroom. For a hotel of this quality, a safe should be standard.
- Victoria (10/5): - Our room has a great view of the capital and foothills beyond. Great view of the sunrise. Good breakfast assortment.
- Pierce (8/5): Nice hotel in city center - Location and we had a nice room that was quiet Paying for parking
- Kenneth (10/5): - Good stay with free breakfast daily.
- noelcI9669SO (2/5): Aggressively Anti-Customer - Very inhospitable staff; dare I say angry and aggressively so. Literally, the general manager made up a parking ‘rule’ to enforce as bias against motorcycle (Ducati) traveler. Single worst hotel experience this business traveler has had in years. 8 years staying at this hotel and never again Hyatt. This experience was wholly unacceptable and so easily avoided. Exceptionally poor customer interaction (8/20/2025),
- Diana Lee (8/5): - Nice hotel. Pool wreaks of chlorine
- Michael (8/5): - Great location. Right in downtown Boise. Walking distance to 8th, the Capitol,
- Brenda (8/5): - Great hotel! Clean and comfortable
- Anne (10/5): Made our college trip very fun - Great location - walking distance to lots of shops and dining/coffee shops and Boise State University Fabulous breakfast Nothing
- Maike Elisa (10/5): -
- David (10/5): - Nice and clean. Safe neighborhood with dining options near by
- Joseph (10/5): - Great location for walking downtown Boise. New and clean. A vegetarian breakfast offering involving eggs.
- Sarah (6/5): - When we checked in the staff was more concerned with his football game, then checking us in handed me a parking permit, then took it back with her comment, saying I have to write on it. Breakfast was cold being sausage and French toast and omelette.
- Guest (10/5): It was a great place for our little weekend getaway. - Location was great for our stay. Pool was located in a weird spot. No sun most of the afternoon
- Saioa (9/5): Great stay - Everything Nothing
- Lori (8/5): - Everything was great except the shower heads. They were basically like standing in a dribble of water. Other than that all was lovely.
- Patti (10/5): - Very nice accommodations. Comfortable bed, very clean. A little noisy during the night from activity on the streets. Some homeless on the surrounding streets caused some feelings of unease but did not stop us from walking in the area.
- Trisha (10/5): - Great place. Very clean. Friendly staff!
- Nichole (7/5): Good - The pool was great, staff was nice, room was spacious. The staff overcharged us for the snacks/drinks they have because he didn’t look at what we actually had but I was unsure of prices at first. $16 parking charge I feel is overpriced. Lots of noise through the whole night, early morning.
- Heather (10/5): - Great staff and very clean room.
- Tracy (8/5): Very good -
- Vanessa (10/5): - Excellent place to stay in downtown Boise!
- Julia (8/5): Everything was fine...until - Expect to pay extra to park...in the actual hotel parking lot! I was surprised about this, but paid...what else could i do? But when i called the front desk on the second night of my stay i was even more surprised at the response i got to my complaint. My complaint: do they even monitor the parking lot? I went out that evening and when i got back, parking was super hard to find (i had to circle a coyple of times). Several of the vehicles parked did not have the guess pass hanging from their rearview mirrors, and i literally saw a young couple exit their truck and walk into downtown...they had no parking pass and where obviously not hotel guests. I got super frustrated bc if they aren’t even going to monitor the parking lot why the hell did i pay extra. I called front desk when i got to my room to ask about this...and yes, the irritation was noticeable in my voice, but I wasn't being rude. The fro t desk guy immediately got super defensive and instead of just asnwering my question, began to question how much i had paid and if i had tried the "back parking lot"...ther is no "back parking lot". He put me on hold for a few minutes to go check on the availability of parking...and never actually answered my question...do they even monitor their parking lot. I do not beleive they do.
- Cindy (9/5): Superb -
- Kristine (10/5): - This Boise hotel has an outdoor pool!
- JoyGarch (10/5): Good hotel for families… - Very clean room and property. Staff are nice and very helpful. The hotel is a short walk going to the State Capitol and to a lot of restaurants. Got upgraded to a suite as a globalist which was highly appreciated. Will definitely be back here if ever we are in this part of Idaho again.
- Lori (6/5): - The service is good however the room had glitter everywhere on the dresser , carpets, bed , bath , entry just bits of glitter . The bed was uncomfortable and could definitely use updating. I cleaned up myself .
- Gregory (10/5): - Very nice hotel in a convenient location. Staff was very friendly, room and property were clean, pool and how tub was nice, breakfast was good. This is a very well run hotel.
- teresatK5990ZF (10/5): Boise Hyatt Downtown very clean! - Friendly staff, always clean. Rooms are wonderful and clean!!! The check in is easy and breakfast has a wide variety of food.
- Christen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dondi (10/5): - Clean and friendly staff
- Brianna (10/5): - Lovely
- Joni (10/5): - Great location to explore downtown Boise
- X8006EXdavidt (10/5): Enjoying downtown Boise - Great rooms and overall facility. Loved the location to downtown Boise and easy in and out parking and walking to resturants and entertainment. Very quick to Airport. This is the place to stay for enjoying Boise.
- Jennifer (8/5): Very good -
- Ryan (2/5): Never again - Location Room was not cleaned at any time during our stay, the beds were not made, they just replaced a few towels and toilet paper. Found methamphetamine folded up in paper under the bed and reported it to the front desk, they said they would talk to the housekeeping and was going to “just throw it away”. Asked for extra bedding both nights and they told us there was none available. I called again and demanded an extra comforter and found mouse feces in it while unfolding it.
- Maggie (10/5): - The staff were all very friendly, nice rooms
- Melody (10/5): - Loved the location! I would stay here again.
Only downsides were the AC was loud and the pillows were super flat. Not a huge deal though. Overall we loved staying here!
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Igor (9/5): Superb -
- Lori Renee (10/5): - Nice clean rooms, great location. Good breakfast and common spaces. Wish the pool was a bit bigger (or accurately portrayed in pics)
- Katrina (10/5): - Hotel staff was wonderful. Offered many suggestions for family friendly dinner options. Heated pool was a hit with the kids.
- Steven (10/5): Exceptional -
- Verified traveler (4/5): Parking fee added at check-in - This place charges a [not allowed to quote the amount] parking fee upon check-in. They claim it's covered in the policies and procedures on the brokerage sites, whoever, it is not included in the "total" price when comparison shopping. This is a bait-and-switch and is a sleazy tactic, IMO.
- Ozanam5 (9/5): Comfortable / Quiet but expensive - The room was nice, higher floor, nice view and quiet. The breakfast is ok but average and the location is good for access to the main areas of downtown Boise. Breakfast is only average. I don't have much to complain about really.
- Kevin (10/5): - It was a nice hotel. Located near dining. Parking was easy.
It had a nice pool.
- Kelly (10/5): - Great & convenient
- Stephanie (10/5): - Friendly staff
- Corey (10/5): - Staff was amazing, location was perfect for access to anything downtown. Would stay here again!
- Rhonda (10/5): - No complaints.
- Jeffrey (9/5): Superb -
- Kristina (10/5): - I would really recommend them to give their customers free parking space. It’s very inconvenient when you check in and they said $20 per night. It’s would be very nice if you they could get offer tea and coffee anytime. I think a lot of customers would appreciate it. There was an extremely nice front desk guy, that would go beyond your expectation to make your stay more pleasant. Keep up the good work. To the cleaning crew I am very appreciative for all the hard work you’ve done during our stay. You allway cleaned our room and made sure we have everything necessary without requesting the room to be cleaned. Now a day at the hotels they don’t clean your room unless you request it.
- Archana (10/5): - Friendly staff. Clean room. Breakfast was fantastic.
- Jacklyn (8/5): - The hotel was nice and overall pretty clean. The only downfall was that the breakfast was
- Jonathan (10/5): - The hotel was updated and clean. The location in downtown Boise was a huge plus.

- John (10/5): - Clean and new. Excellent location right downtown. Decent breakfast with a classy bar onsite. I recommend!
- B2441CMlaurenh (10/5): Great for post concert stays! - We are locals and chose to get a room for after a weekday stadium tour concert. The hotel was clean, quiet, and a wonderful option to stay safe. We will continue to book rooms for events we attend downtown. This was a wonderful experience.
