- Verified traveler (10/5): A hidden gem in county Westmeath - An excellent accommodation choice in a quiet part of Westmeath. Very comfortable room. Friendly and efficient service. A great breakfast. The highlight is the setting: looking over Lough Bane, with amazing views, especially at sunset. It is the perfect place to spend a couple of relaxing days, hidden away from the world. Recommended.

- donald (10/5): - Lough Bawn House is a charming, early 19th century estate with wonderful, expansive views of the lake and surrounding countryside. Our room was clean, well appointed, and very comfortable; the quiet and serene setting made for a great nights sleep. Plenty of room on the property for a lovely country walk through the gardens and along the crystal clear lake. Verity is a very charming and accommodating host, the breakfast she prepared for us each day was full of delicious locally sourced and home-made items perfectly prepared. Don't miss the opportunity to stay in this wonderful B & B when in the area, you will not be disappointed!
- James (10/5): Relaxed ambiance in a beautiful rustic setting - The lady of the house made us feel like we were guests in her home. Nothing was too much trouble and the wonderful food is not to be missed.
