- Stokes (9/5): Our first choice for Hawera - At first glance this motel looks strange because there are a lot of metal birds, butterflies, beetles, etc on almost every surface, and pots of flowers, but the room itself was excellent and had everything we needed. Not only was there a microwave, there was also an air fryer. Parking was outside our room. Even though our room was closest to the highway it was quiet. All was good.
