• Jody (8/5): - Close to the airport. We walked 30 mins to the property. Uber black cost 20€ back to airport in the morning. We were able to drop our bags of early so we could spend the day in Venice. When we got back later, bags were in our room. Staff was extremely helpful ensuring our food delivery was ordered and delivered. Breakfast was just what we needed to get the day going. Highly recommend this place for proximity to the airport. Cleanliness. And the contactless check in and service was superb.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Good location for airport - First impressions are not great. It is unclear where to park, and the land is fairly untidy. It is a very convenient location. The room is very clean but basic. The beds are very uncomfortable but good selection of pillows. No covers for duvets if needed. The main issue is noise. This is an old house with no soundproofing. Other guests behaved appallingly, shouting, running, slamming doors and ringing bells until nearly midnight and then started again at 4am. Between them and the bed this was a poor night's sleep.
• Amy (8/5): - Diego was very welcoming and helpful. He provided very clear directions and options for transportation and food ordering. He even booked our early morning shuttle for us when we were having trouble booking a taxi. Breakfast was laid out for our family and cookies and snacks provided.
• Laurie (10/5): - We stayed here overnight while flying in and out of Marco Polo airport. This was a unique place to stay, and we were glad we stayed here. They helped us arrange a shuttle ($6 per person) from the airport that was easy to catch. We got in close to midnight and had no trouble getting into the house and our room. The room was clean and quiet and had great AC and a nice bathroom. We left the next morning (they arranged the shuttle for us again), and we enjoyed coffee and breakfast before we left. Easy in and out, easy to work with, clean, safe, and affordable. It is unique because we never actually saw anyone, and everything was done virtually. If you choose to stay here, here are some logistics that would have helped me: 1. They will help you arrange a shuttle to the house, and the shuttle picks you up where other transport buses/shuttles pick up (they run about every 10 minutes). They sent a detailed set of instructions and a video to help you find where to go. 2. The house has a car gate and a pedestrian gate that are both closed at night. They send you a code to get in. 3. Once you get there, walk up the stairs to the 1st floor (US 2nd floor) and use the code they give you to open the external door. It is easy, but as you turn the knob to the right, do it slowly and you will feel it open. Same for your room. 4. They have a kitchen with the table set for each room, and each room has a shelf in the fridge. Toast, croissant, cheese, meat, yogurt and coffee at your convenience
• Ari (10/5): - Great property. Clean, comfortable, serene -- and only 1km from the airport. Very helpful host, fluent in English. And a very nice breakfast setup. Would happily stay here again and can highly recommend.
• Monika (10/5): - Great well priced place to soend the night before the flight. 25min easy walk from the airport on sidewalks (one small section without sidewalk but broad shoulder) and well lit area. Breakfast was very good. Shuttle costs $5 a person and was on time. Rooms with comfy beds, swing and trampoline in the yard for guests with kids.

The private property and private bedroom were both very clean, yet not sterile nor uninviting. The convenient location was ideal; its semi-rural feel was both charming and unexpected. The adjacent farmhouse and grounds made me feel as though I were on the set of Pasolini's Salò o le 120 giornate di Sodoma. I would highly recommend Diego and his B&B to anyone considering staying there, without even the slightest hesitation.

• Yaritza (10/5): - The staff was amazing and the room was spacious with its own bathroom, the area is surprisingly quiet regardless of the airport being a 30 minute walk away. We felt welcomed and at home we were also given great advice on how to get to Venice island and you can purchase bus tickets for cheaper here. The staff went above and beyond for us we would without a doubt stay again.

• Kenneth (10/5): Charming and Convenient - This understated little gem was perfect for my trip to Italy. 10 mins from airport. Very clean and charming rooms. Shared bathroom - but spacious and very clean. Self serve kitchen for breakfast. It was a full kitchen - just like home. Taxi from Venice to B&B was 30 euros. Diego, the proprietor was lovely and incredibly helpful. Note that there are no close by shops or restaurants, so either bring your own food, beverages or have them before you go to the place. I should not that there was fridge with complimentary beer. Nice Touch Diego.

• Richard (8/5): Good place for a transit stop in Venice. - As we'd visited Venice some months before we just wanted a room close to the airport. Venice Diego fulfilled our needs. Only drawback was a shared bathroom. A positive was a better than usual continental breakfast.

From Venice, can get there by bus (owner will provide detailed instructions and bus timetable. Bus cost $3, including both buses that you will need to take from the Venice Piazale Roma bus station. Involves a short walk (3-5 min) from the bus stop to the house.

• Thomas (10/5): Early Birds - Location is “primo” for a night before a departure from Marco Polo AP. Diego is a most hospitable host who speaks very good English. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. Parking is free and may be covered if you arrive early. Leaving on a 6:00 flight ? No worry about missing breakfast since it is available anytime in the well furnished and supplied kitchen area. And the little espresso machine there delivers an excellent brew. This place is a super find of great value.

• Ian (8/5): Leafy lane - The short walk from the bus stop to the b&b was down a lovely tree lined road. The welcome very friendly, we stayed in the red room, good size, plenty cupboard space & good size comfy bed. The shared shower & bathroom was very clean & bright. Diego was at hand for any advice about restaurant’s, carry out food, bus tickets etc. The self service breakfast in the large kitchen was good, with a nice range of things to eat & coffee/tea/orange juice all available. Diego ordered a transfer to the nearby airport for us for €10. If visiting Venice again would definitely stay here again.
• Peter (6/5): Good airport option if you don't mind disturbances - Very friendly and helpful host, good 24-hour breakfast and inexpensive shuttle provision. Comfortable room with pleasant farm view and decent soundproofing from the outside. The place is a bit hard to get to by yourself, especially on foot, but Google maps is accurate. The main downside is the echoing halls and doors: even if your fellow guests are trying to be quiet, their bathroom use and comings and goings for their own flights are going to wake you, unfortunately.
