Bett etwas Hart
Kein Kühlschrank
Frühstück war 1x so lala
- Youssef (10/5): - My stay at the hotel was excellent. The service was outstanding, and the staff were very friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the facilities were well-equipped. The location is perfect and close to all amenities. A wonderful experience—I highly recommend it
- Carmen (1/5): NEVER WANT TO REMEMBER - - I am writing to formally report a deeply disappointing experience during my recent stay at a riad between 17 and 19 September.
After checking out, I realized within four hours that I had forgotten my watch—an original Fossil timepiece, uniquely engraved with a personal message on the back. I immediately contacted the riad staff by phone. However, they only acknowledged finding the watch after I posted a negative review online. Following this, they negotiated the return of my watch on the condition that I delete the review, which I reluctantly agreed to, as my only priority was recovering my sentimental item.
Despite confirming by phone and message that a trusted person would collect the watch on my behalf, the staff later insisted that an ID card was required. The next day, my guide offered to send the ID, but the riad refused and claimed the watch would be handed over to the police, stating that I must return in person to collect it.
This was not feasible. I was already in Marrakech, far from Fes, on a prepaid group tour, and unable to return. I am now back in London, without my watch and without any support from Booking.com customer service, despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue.
Unfortunately, this was not the only problem during our stay:
We paid in cash, as requested by the staff, and received no receipt.
The room was not as booked: we had reserved a double room, but were given a small room with only one double bed.
On the first night, the door was unlocked, and we had to insist repeatedly to receive a key.
The room contained a small sink and a shower with a strong unpleasant smell, despite being advertised as having a private bathroom.
This experience was unacceptable and distressing. I strongly advise future guests to avoid this riad, and I urge Booking.com to investigate the matter seriously.
- Carmen (9/5): - Good food
- Carmen (4/5): - Good food I forgot my watch in the room. Calling them, they didn't want to confirm. I know exactly were but they said that didn't found it.

- Silvia (10/5): Great, would recommend - The Riad is in the perfect position to visit Fez. There you can have a great stay in a beautiful building in typical Moroccan style. The breakfast was varied and served on a beautiful terrace. The staff is very kind an helpful with any necessity. We recommend The bidet in the bathroom was not working
- NABILA (9/5): Très bonne pause !! -
- Silvina (10/5): Estadía agradable - Decoración, ubicación, desayuno y amabilidad de sus empleados/as.
- Virginie (8/5): -
- Angelo (5/5): Passable - Generous breakfast, nice rooftop The room is very run down.
- Cutajar (10/5): Excellent - Its very central though very quiet.Youseff is the best Nothing bad
- Thuy (10/5): We enjoyed our stay - Room is beautiful and clean, traditional Moroccan style, nice rooftop terrace, good location, right in the middle of the medina, friendly staffs, reasonable price, Nothing
- Thuy (10/5): We enjoyed our stay - Room is beautiful and clean, traditional Moroccan style, nice rooftop terrace, good location, right in the middle of the medina, friendly staffs, reasonable price, Nothing
- Sara (7/5): Nice Riad - The Riad is beautiful but our room was very small, with a very tiny window and the wc outside the room. Breakfast on the rooftop was amazing.
- Sarahbusby (7/5): Good - It's a beautiful riad and a great value considering how stunning it is and the amazing location. Our room was huge with high ceilings and we had a big bed with tons of pillows. A hot shower with shampoo and soap provided. The breakfast was delicious, served by a lovely lady on the pretty roof terrace - coffee, juice, eggs, savoury and plain mssemen bread, olives, honey, cheese. Check in at 1pm and check out at 11am which was generous. We could only pay with cash and I woke up on the morning we left to see that the riad had cancelled our booking on booking.com, presumably to avoid paying their fees, but we didn't like it as it wasn't true - we'd stayed there two nights and had already paid. There was quite a bit of noise at night - it sounded like the people running it were chatting and playing video games. Breakfast is only served from 9pm which felt pretty late. The front desk guy was nice but it all felt a bit unprofessional.
- Connor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alejandro (9/5): Superb - Inside the hotel was everything excellent, very beautiful and if you go to the top the views was very nice.
Room and everything quite good 😊
The guy working there was very friendly.
In general was a such an amazing experience. I don't know if was a joke or not but the guy told me I had to print the boarding pass there and of course I had to pay him.
But at the airport they told me should to do at the airport and no at other place.
So coz of him a little bit wasted of money.
- Virginia (8/5): Good value for money. - The breakfast was one of the bests we had in Morocco. The staff were helpful. I saw a small cockroach in our room. We were leaving early (7.30 am) for an excursion and they didn’t agree to prepare breakfast earlier.
- Driss (6/5): Pleasant - The good location in Medina but not a great service. They were not served the breakfast and the staff was in minimum.ììììììì
- Shajeel (10/5): Very good location and property - The best property in the area, best food and very good behavior of staff Nothing
- Joanne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jacquie (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful property. Staff very helpful and friendly. Located in old Fes.
- Amirene (9/5): Superb -
- Gillian (10/5): perfect short stay destination - home cooked breakfast on the roof terrace
- Charlie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Abrar (10/5): Exceptional - The room is booked was massive
- Graeme (8/5): Very good -
- Gunay (8/5): Very good - We had a duplex room for 4 persons, but we were only 3. The room was large and clean, with good wifi and breakfast. The room was little bit dark.
On the wall next to the wc there was some odor, it was not from wc.. but sometimes i was feeling it too hard(
- Manuel (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel location is inside the Medina, so no parking nearby, but a member of the staff met us at the parking lot.
- Alyshea (7/5): Nice stay. - Nice terrace. Nice building. Easy to find. Good breakfast. Good location near Ain Zleten for picking up taxi. Room had a slight smell coming in from the AC. No kettle or drinking glasses in room. AC didn't circulate enough to cool the bed up the small staircase, it wasn't too hot but for more into summer may be an issue.
- Borna (10/5): Exceptional - The riad is very nice, the personnel is friendly and the location is great. No objection.
- Evangeline (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melissa (10/5): We loved the Moroccan atmosphere of the riad. The room was very comfortable with hot water and air conditioning. We love - Great Moroccan atmosphere
Large room
Hot water
Lovely rooftop deck
Fantastic breakfast
Excellent service
- Elvi (9/5): Superb - We loved the size of the room. It was about 4 or 5 metres high and equally wide - think the size of four tiny budget hotel rooms. The breakfast was exquisite...egg, pastry, selection of breads, a tomato and onion pie...even olives and a nice view to top it off. The staff were helpful and we even got our clothes cleaned for a reasonable fee. Air conditioning powerful considering large size of room. Finally, we were convienetly able to stay another night because we had booked with Riad Skliffo for the other night, which is also owned by the same family. When we told them, they were able to cancel for us and keep us in the same room at Noujoum. No major concerns to report.
- Tiana (8/5): Very good - Very friendly staff, willing to help you where needed! Also, breakfast was served on the very nice rooftop terrace and location of the accommodation overall was great!
- Allison (8/5): Very good - Great location
- Ana (7/5): Good - Great breakfast, nice staff, beautiful main area and terrace. Our room was not as expected. It was very dark, with no lights at all by the mirror and sink. Very noisy at night as the window faced the streets. It looked way better on the pictures.
- Jono (10/5): Exceptional -
- Williambill (10/5): Thank you Yousef... -
- Matteo (8/5): Very good - Location. Staff. Viewpoint. Breakfast. Nice Riad.
Nice local tourist guide (Rachid) The bathroom is useful but not so excellent. 7/10
Sheets are not very clean. 7/10
- Josse (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and comfortable, situated on a great location in the Medina (very easy to find), next to the blue gate and many shops, restaurants and travel agencies. The breakfast served at the terrace was fresh, tasty and various. Wiifi signal was excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
- Josse (10/5): Exceptional - The riad is really traditional, authentic and very well placed near the blue door. The staff picked me up at the entrance to the medina, which was nice when you landed in Fez! Always ready to help, he offers multiple outings, it's up to you to do so or to opt for other activities, but his help and advice for getting around are really very appreciable. I had a very good week, I recommend
- Josse (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful, traditional looking riad with amazing interior. Location is great, in the medina. Breakfast on the rooftop was delicious.
- Charisse (8/5): Overall our stay was good and comfortable - Right by the entrance of the medina, good breakfast, great staff and service and the owner was helpful to get us a tourguide around the medina Not enough mirrors for 4 girls staying in 1 room, bath tub too high/steep to climb into and no mat in the bathroom
- Leonid (8/5): Very good - Excellent location, spacious room, good cost/quality ratio, polite staff
- Ruth (10/5): Exceptional - The place was beautiful and spacious. We did not stay long this trip but our next visit will be longer and we will be booking here again. Nothing to not like.
- Martin (8/5): Great place for old town Fes - everyone seems to know it in the area. - Breakfast on the roof was excellent - food very good, and views fantastic. Rooms were spacious and cool. Location was very good, just yards from one of the Medina's main thoroughfares. Tried to organise taxi to railway station through the Riad on last day, but didn't arrive - otherwise, great stay. But would recommend arranging transfer TO the Riad (from airport or station), as difficult to find if you don't know Fes.
- Josse (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful riad, great location
Liked · Beautiful, traditional looking riad with amazing interior. Location is great, in the medina. Breakfast on the rooftop was delicious.
- Serina (9/5): Superb -
- Damir (10/5): Exceptional - Great service, very clean and location is both at the center of the action and close to the parking lot which is great for taxi pickup All good, the best riad I stayed at during the last 10 days traveling in Morocco
- Rizwan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Diana (10/5): We had a great stay - Great spot for a very good price.
- Sara (9/5): Superb - We had 2 rooms on the ground level and they were very spacious and comfy. Beautiful Moroccan decorations.
Very attentive staff. It’a a bit noisy at night due to be in the middle of the medina.
- Bojana (10/5): Beautiful riad, great location - Beautiful, traditional looking riad with amazing interior. Location is great, in the medina. Breakfast on the rooftop was delicious. /
- Benjamin (5/5): Central location with nice rooftop, but the manager Youssef sold us a trip to Erg Chebbi and didn’t feel responsible for - Central location with nice rooftop The manager Youssef sold us a trip to Erg Chebbi and didn’t feel responsible for the problems we had. Erg Chebbi was great but afterwards we had transports in a Taxi without a English/French speaking driver :(
- Msrtang (8/5): Very good -
- Djanai (8/5): Very good -
- Darryl (10/5): Thoroughly enjoyable stay here! - Yusuf our host was really friendly and helpful. His recommendation for dinner at a typical Moroccan restaurant was a superb one and his local knowledge of things to see, to do and what to avoid was especially useful. Would definitely stay here if in Fes again!
- Amandine (9/5): Superb - Really beautiful place and great breakfast, and the room was really spacious. We loved the bathtub! 🙂 Our room was right next to the street and someone's workshop which meant it was really loud in the morning, starting around 9/10am. It wasn't a big problem for us as we were out and about during the day, but if you're coming to relax at the Riad, maybe ask for an upstairs bedroom (or use the lovely tent space on the rooftop) 🙂
- Corsino (8/5): Was short time but good. Yousseff gave us love and attention, he was good person - The bathroom and hotel design was beautiful . Everything was good
- Cheryl (9/5): Beautiful haven to recharge after walking up and down the fascinating Fes - This is a lovely Riad. Our room was spacious with a good sized bathroom. Thankfully we were on the ground floor as the stair well to the terrace is narrow and steep. If you are booking ask for room 1 or 2! Yousef is very friendly as are all of the staff. There are great views from the terrace over Fes. There are lots of great restaurants nearby and the fruit market is also close. You can book day trips from the Riad - highly recommend the trip to Meknes and Volubilis The Moroccan breakfast is lovely but some fresh fruit with it would be nice
- Viktor (9/5): Excellent service. - The hotel was a very short walk into the medina and was close to everything I needed. The Staffel were very friendly and helpful. They also provided good advice on what to do in Fes.
- Bousseta (9/5): Superb -
- Abdurraheem (1/5): I wish we’d stayed somewhere else. - The location, but not the room we were given. It was not as expected. When the room was shown to us, Yousef the manager immediately went to the bathroom and flushed the toilet. The room hadn’t been cleaned and also the room smelt of urine. We didn’t want to ask the manager anything as he was not happy that we wouldn’t pay an extra 5% on top of our booking to pay by card. He wanted us to cancel the booking and pay him in cash so as not to pay commission to Booking.com. The bed sheets were bobbly and you could feel it on your skin. The one no place for storing the luggage. The AC dripped water and saturated one of the cases. When we pointed out that the facilities were not as listed in Booking.com he replied that he did not know what was listed for the property and said that if we were not happy to get a refund and stay somewhere else. After 4 hours of travelling by car he wasn’t welcoming or helpful and that was for the whole time that we stayed.
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional - Great location easy to reach. A/C was perfect and it was 42 outside. Very classy place.
- Alaa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rachael (9/5): Superb - We had a very enjoyable stay at Riad Noujoum Medina. The room was spacious and had great air conditioning! Thank you to Youssef and his family, they were very helpful and welcoming at the Riad and we would definitely stay again.
- Shaikh (9/5): Our visit to Fes was memorable - Property is in old town of fes Medina it is very nicely decorated ,Small Riad design in authentic Moroccan architecture with beautiful interior intricate artwork.
Our host Yosef was very helpful. He went above and beyond to make sure we have a comfortable stay
Breakfast was delicious! Room was spacious.
- Merve (10/5): Exceptional - The room was so big and the hotel is very beautiful, clean and silent. Locartion was best and secure. Breakfast was rich as well, thank you
- Ethan (10/5): Exceptional - Youssef went above and beyond to accommodate all of our needs and it was an absolute pleasure to stay here. I couldn’t recommend it any more.
- Bob (10/5): Wonderful stay, made exceptional thanks to the staff. - Youssef from the staff was exceptional in helping us with everything we needed, money exchange, sim card, transport... The location right in the middle of the medina is perfect, and we loved our breakfasts on the terrace. Nothing, all great!
- Lukas (9/5): Superb - Nice place, highly recommended 👌
- Polonca (9/5): Superb - The Riad was clean and beautiful. The staff was helpfull.
- Verena (9/5): Superb - Very helpful and friendly people. We stayed here on our night in Fes. And on our way back from the Airport, we stopped over again, just for a rest. The Riad is beautiful and welcoming. The terrace has a great view over the Median.
- Anna (10/5): Beautiful and great value for money - Great value for money. Clean, beautiful and comfortable. Josef was super helpful and came to pick us up from the taxi drop off. He can arrange anything you wish.
- Yassar (10/5): amazing experience with a really family feeling between the guests and the people who work there. - the view from the rooftop is amazing. everything was clean and super comfortable. everything was perfect.
- Zsuzsanna (7/5): Good - Perfect location in the medina, very close to car access if you come by car from the airport, and also 5 minutes walk in one direction to Blue Gate, the other direction to the main sites to visit in the medina. Beautiful rooftop to have your breakfast.
Youssef is super helpful at reception (and everywhere, really).
Room is correct, we had a big one, it was all good, except for the bathroom. The bathroom was horrible, cold and humid (my swimsuit did not dry in 3 days after hammam), the bathtub is impossible to step in or out from (straight you step out on top of the toilet, diagonal is difficult and you have a really painful plastic something to step out on). Shower head broken, having hot water is a matter of luck, not to mention the water pressure.
We had no room cleaning for the 4 days (once it was promised but forgotten).
- Anna (7/5): Good -
- Jan-luka (8/5): Very good -
- Samuel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hannilein (9/5): Superb - Very nice place, can recommend it. Only it gets cold at night because the heating is a bit weak for the size of the room.
- David (7/5): Good -
- Patrick (10/5): Had a wonderful visit to Fez at Raid Noujoum Medina. Yousef had wonderful suggestions, very helpful - Breakfast was very nice on the roof
- June (10/5): gorgeous Riad in a great location with friendly staff - helpful staff, incredible location, gorgeous Riad, great to have a bathtub. the staff even helped me grab a taxi to the bus station and helped me with my luggage to get to the taxi.
- Spela (10/5): Exceptional -
