- Laura (8/5): Wonderful old world charm - Great location and wonderful staff N/a
- Jacqueline (9/5): - The friendliness of the staff Bed was a bit firm
- Francoise (8/5): A restful, spacious hotel with a lot of charm. - Very well located, near the station and the city centre.
Has old fashioned charm since it is a beautiful old house.
It is a quiet and restful hotel , rooms are clean. We were able to park in the hotel grounds although it was a squeeze. The rooms could do with some decoration to make them a bit less fusty.there was no tea or coffee maker in the room.
We could have had more choices for breakfast, which only had 2 choices and no refills.
- Roger (9/5): Excellent inexpensive base to explore Cahors. - Large clean rooms with ensuite bathrooms and super friendly staff. Easy walking distance to the centre of Cahors. Dining room is a bit stuffy and old fashioned but the hotel is more than 100 years old so not surprising.
- Marion (9/5): - Beautiful building and very good service.
- Paule (9/5): -

- eglantine (8/5): -
- CommanderBiro (10/5): Viva La France - This is a typical French experience expect nothing less. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The Bistro is run by a competent chef and the waitress was enthusiastic. We enjoyed our stay with our toy poodle.
- Christian (8/5): -
- Susan (7/5): Rather a unique place to stay..... - The history of the hotel and its old fashioned feel.
Friendliness of the staff
Space - I had a big room The curtains in my room were on an old wooden rail and it was impossible to pull them shut.
Some of the wallpaper was peeling off the bedroom walls.
- JEAN-PAUL (8/5): - Le style retro. Le restaurant.
- Nathalie (8/5): - Très bon hôtel à 10mn du centre historique. Excellent accueil . Je conseille
- Helen (5/5): -
- Catharine (10/5): -
- Morant Martinez (8/5): -
- Hilary Sunman (5/5): Moderate hotel attached to a 4**** restaurant. Disappointing 😞 - Lovely historic building but our bedroom was pretty basic. Public space pleasant but no one serving at the bar which made it seem s bit bleak. When we wanted to celebrate, all they managed was an already opened half bottle of champagne ! Just said
A superb restaurant but only open a 7.30pm and not on Monday
- JULIEN (8/5): -
- Antoinette (7/5): -
- Catherine (10/5): Parfait - Tout Rien
- Jon (8/5): Positive and pleasurable experience! - Good location in Cahors, 5 to 10 minutes from the high street. We were lucky to get a free parking space, right in front of the hotel. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Very spacious room, spotlessly cleaned. Big and comfortable beds at this delightful traditional French hotel. Unfortunately, we did not have the opportunity to dine in the restaurant, as it was reserved for a large gathering the night we stayed. Guess that is an excuse to come back on our next trip to Cahors! Highly recommended! Would have loved to dine at the restaurant.
- Kerr gmail gmail (7/5): Pity the hotel in forty years that I've stayed there hasn't moved well withthe times:but i like it! - bath in bathroom. location breakfast poor weak cold coffee in a flask. quite stale uninteresting breads (5 types??get one right not 5 half right) no fruit, no eggs - just dead boring continental breakfast. i went out and go another in town!
dinner trying to be something its not. no bad but thoroughly unmemorable in a vast room with odd decor, very friendly staff.
- Greenham (10/5): -
- Henry (7/5): - Beautiful gothic building. Staff were friendly and allowed us to check in early.
We had a nice dinner in the restaurant.
Breakfast was good value and plenty of fresh food. The room was quite basic - beautiful traditional big room but lacked anything extra. Not even a cup or glass in there.
- lizzie (8/5): -
- Nicolas (10/5): - The staff, the travel in time
- matteo (8/5): -
- Lionel (10/5): Lovely quiet old world hotel, very cosy feeling. - Lovely old world hotel. The receptionist went out of his way to assist with parking our car and also offered to move our friends room to be next to us. We had a lovely breakfast in the lounge. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning next time we come to Cahors
- Peter (8/5): - We loved the character of the place and the personal touches in this small family-run hotel.
The food and service in the dining-room were excellent.
- Justine (9/5): - Le cadre, l'accueil
- Nigel (8/5): We enjoyed our stay, and our stay in a traditional, family-run hotel was generally positive. - The building is picturesque and convenient for the train station. The staff were helpful and provided an extension cord for a medical device. The dinners and breakfasts (we took the demi-pension scheme) were well prepared and presented, with a decent wine list. The rooms were spartan and not well provided with electrical outlets. Like other French hotels in the fall, full heating was not provided. There were not enough clothes hangers available.
- john (8/5): A very convenient hotel with a decent bistro restaurant, offering good value for money - The location, the free parking, the restaurant accessibility on Saturday night, the staff - particularly the restaurant waitress on 11 October. She was helpful, friendly and very efficient. Dinner was very good The decor and furnishings in the bedroom and public areas were rather tired and didn't do justice to the building. The dining room decor was better. A bit of a shame really as the building and original features (eg staircase and windows) are lovely and the hotel could be quite special with a bit of refurbishment.
- Julie (8/5): A comfortable, friendly, quirky hotel that we would definitely stay in again - The hotel is shabby chic and quirky and close to the train station.
The staff are friendly and helpful. Not enough power points but this might be difficult to sort out as the hotel is old.
- Georges (9/5): Good place to.relax and sleep well - Calm and lovely personnel Polite and friendly people
- Mette (10/5): -
- Nicholas (6/5): A former gem past its best - Location, staff very helpful and friendly. The hotel is tired and in need of lots of TLC.
- George (10/5): Overnight while stopping off to explore Cahors, Lot bike route - Very spacious room, friendly and helpful staff, grand lounge and dining room, parking for our bikes in their garage. Breakfast menu a little confusing.
- john (10/5): -
- Jeremy (8/5): Great central location. Close to everything. - Central location and a 10 min walk from the old bridge and all the restaurants and hostelries.
It has a secure garage, too. Great if you need safe parking. It's a bit old and tired. But that's possibly part of its charm, too.
The room was almost too hot.
- annhZ6979UJ (8/5): Grand hotel with faded glory - This was an overnight stay for us and we weren’t sure what to expect. Grand hotel with faded glory. Very art nouveau and a grand staircase. Only about 200 metres from the railway station.
We had a large room, but the bathroom was partitioned off from the room by shoulder high frosted glass, which we thought was odd. Shower over bath, but no shower screen or curtain.
Any failings in the hotel more than made up for by dinner in the restaurant. Excellent food and a lovely waitress who was learning English, so we helped each other.
